Do not think that they care about you, because they don’t. From the beginning rude salesmen, craftsmen ship is shoddy. The only person that did a good job was a guy name Wes and his Boss. Buying a Pulte home wasn’t fun, and I already have my home up for sale.

We love our FLOORPLAN. The process caused so much unnecessary stress and frustration though. Our sales rep would tell us one thing, then lie and say she never said it ( though i had all the proof ) miscommunication was a constant issue. It wasn’t until after we closed we found out we lived in an area where you hear gunshots, ringing almost every day. As if they purposely scheduled us on days and times that the gun range was closed. We identified several issues, including unfinished work and defects, during our walkthrough. Given the current state of the house, it would be unreasonable for Pulte to request us to proceed with the closing. If we were local, I would decline the closing because the house is not ready for occupancy. Even after the closing, Pulte had yet to assign workers to address issues in our house, hindering our ability to change the garage door code. Poor quality inspection but worked to address

There were numerous things leading up to close that were not checked or inspected at high quality standard. I had to find those things and provide them to Pulte. The construction manager did work quickly to address these issues and concerns but they should have been caught sooner. Such as the water didn’t work and sinks were clogged. Although we like the unit, dealing with Pulte has been very frustrating. From sales, to closing, to builder manager, to "customer care", there is a overall lack of communication and transparency. Finishing of our unit is messy and careless. Many items on our punch list have not been fixed, and our customer care people have not responded to our email requesting a meeting. Even a simple acknowledgement of our email would have been appreciated. Taking the experience as a whole, knowing what we know now, I doubt we would have bought from Pulte.

Our experience with Pulte had positives and negatives. We chose to build with Pulte because of the lot location and available floor plans, not because of a favorable Pulte reputation. First time homebuyer experience with Pulte Homes

The experience with our salesperson, David was fantastic. Everything else was average or even subpar. At the closing, we only received one working key for our new home. The other 2 keys were uncut. We were told the proper keys would be sent in the mail instantly and over a month later they were not sent out. After contacting them again, they mailed us 2 keys but they did not fit the lock so we ended up buying a new door lock and installing it ourselves. Problems with AC, smoke detector, completing things that should have been done before Settlement, inability to access warranty website and no one answers the phone during normal business hours. Omar, Dale, and Jason are great, but I believe many others simply don’t care about doing a good job or even feel like working at all.

There were several major issues with my home which caused closing to get pushed back multiple times. My original construction manager Terran was not helpful at all and tried to get me to close on an unsatisfactory home. He was only interested in being rated a 9 or 10 and not in actually helping me fix the problems with my home. We had many issues throughout our process. We signed our contract prior to the rapid increase in interest rates. We enjoyed the customization options provided and going to the design center. However as we approached closing our appraisal came in well below the contracted price (over $100k). This had “never happened before” and they would work to make it right. Being in the construction business we came away somewhat appalled at the lack of communication and the lack of workmanship from the start of the home to the closing of the house. The house was not in move in condition when we had to close which in turn took numerous days to clean before moving in!

This is my first experience with Pulte. I have been less than impressed. With this home I upgraded several options and unfortunately many of the upgraded options were executed poorly in the build process. This left a lengthy list of items to complete post closing and severe buyer’s remorse. Don't close until EVERYTHING is fixed

The quality does not reflect the price increases, homes are being sold for 6-700k+ but the lack of attention to detail is disappointing. Simple things like sanding down doors before painting them isn't done. The sense of urgency for repairs has dropped to almost zero now that I've closed on my house. My house is still filled with blue tape and has issues that aren't being resolved.

The house still has many unfinished issues and we were rushed to close. All along the way we were assured that the issues were to be addressed. The home appears to be in great shape; the problem is with the other factors that go into building a home from the ground up. The overall administrative function, the loan processing process, and delivery of the home was terrible. As I stated earlier, the house appears to be built solidly, but everything else was a COMPLETE mess.

I will never do business with Pulte again. The Company only cares about the bottom line and they know that once they’ve got you in a contract they have the upper hand, so they will take advantage of that. If you’re considering buying a new home, stay away from Pulte. There are plenty of other builders who will offer you the same warranty they do, but they will treat you like a customer, not prey.

Bad experience after closing

I had the great experience while making the offer on the house. The agent was super responsive and provide all the information in timely manner. However after closing builder did not complete the remaining repairs as they promised and as sign in the contract. It took almost 2 months to get those issues addressed after the closing. I needed to follow up multiple times on those repairs. They even lied mentioning everything fixed even when none of those items were addressed. It became very hard to trust.
