Be very careful to get all the details that may help you make an informed decision to by . Poultry has a policy of not availing things you need to know before you go to p&s and contract to by. If I was made more aware I would not have done business with them.

We didn't build. We purchased an inventory home being used as a model home for 1 year and closed in less than 4 weeks (around Christmas). During the celebration meeting, I pointed out issues such as dirty/stained grout, repainting needs, whole/gap in cabinet, broken sliding door handle, sloppy work in the master bath and other areas, as well as overall wear and tear issues given that the home was used as a model. While the issues were minor and fixable, I felt that I shouldn't have had to point them out - Pulte should've caught them and fixed them prior to the celebration meeting because poor workmanship erodes trust, which is the biggest challenge builders have now. While most issues that we identified were resolved by closing, we are now dealing with other poor quality of workmanship issues that we've noticed now that we are in the home (leaky faucets due to misplacement; electrical issues, etc..), which somehow weren't noticed (or addressed?) during the time the home was used as a model. One particular area of concern is that we/our neighbors have faulty drainage issues that creates water saturation in our properties, which the neighbors indicated they have been trying to resolve with Pulte for 6+ months, so I'm concerned about the timeline in getting issues resolved. What I noticed and what several neighbors have mentioned, is that homeowners have to keep following up to get their issues resolved - I'm sure supply chain backlogs due to the pandemic may have impacted this, but don't know how much. I'm scheduled to have the first round of issues resolved within the next couple of weeks, 3 weeks after I first brought them up and followed up, so I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. The field manager is great! He was the trustworthy one, responsive to our issues, professional and kind one throughout the process. The overall experience was over shadowed by the Pulte Mortgage process. Our two reps really lacked communication or timely response. We have found now that we have moved in that there are some strange items. Electrical trips often, one outlet will blow the whole room no matter what we try. Ceiling air vent cover falls bc the hole was cut too large, we fixed it. I haven't been able to use the new dishwasher bc it has been broken since the first time of use. We have been in our house for six weeks. We registered all of the appliances, but apparently this is the process. The threshold in one doorway is a different color than the next doorway over (of course we didn't catch it at the walk through, too excited). With that said, the house is a great value. The building part of the process was overall a good experience and fun. We are proud of our new home. We just feel as a new build, some of the little things should not exist. Pulte Homes has good Customer Service after the home is completed. The people from the sales department to the design center made it an easy process. The few issues we had with the new home were taken care of in a timely manner. Upgrade offers made it an even better home!

I had a great experience with Karen in sales and Greg, my construction superintendant. Outstanding professionals and they made the process seemless.

With PULTE, as with any other builder, you really need to check that everything that was in agreement was met....

Overall, Pulte builds a good to very good home. Attention to details by the homeowner as the home is under construction is important. Workmanship needed to be followed up on during the process and addressed. Most items should have been identified, and corrected, by the builder not the home owner.

I couldn't have moved into this new home from out of state without the help of your staff, especially Rodney. Relocation during a pandemic was especially difficult. Their flexibility and responsiveness made it work.

Pulte subcontracts its work. Some of the craftsmanship is of great quality, others I wouldn’t mind gutting and starting over. Remember Pulte mass produces these homes - some of the work is rushed and it is evident. Once work is complete, they will not remove and start over. They will simply put a bandaid on it. Recommend buyer stopping by the home frequently. Highly recommend making two design appointments. We felt rushed through that portion of the process. Staff is kind and provides timely responses. Ask questions especially at the design appointment.

We found the process of building our Pulte home to be easy and even a little fun. All of the sales people and both building supervisors we dealt with were friendly, extremely competent and very helpful. Our job progressed very quickly. Even though It took us a few weeks to realize Pulte is not a custom builder in a strict sense, we found they do allow you to make limited choices so that the house is somewhat “yours”. Our home was finished early, and really our only difficulty was obtaining a mortgage through their mortgage company in spite of our extremely high credit scores and the fact that we put almost 60% down. We would build with Pulte again, but we would probably look at other mortgage sources to compare. ... More

Site foreman was the most responsive and thorough we've seen

Loved working with Adam our Sales Rep. Never had an issue contacting him. Getting issues fixed very slow. If this team operated like your sales team no one could beat the Pulte.

If we had to use Dayna, sales, again for anything we would not buy, build or even think of owning a home. Working with her was the worst experience for us. She continued to call my fiancé by my last name and Jose when that isn’t even his first name either. Matt, our builder, we would work with him on any home at any time. He was amazing and followed through every time and timely.

Pulte Homes has exceptional customer service! They monitored the closing process from beginning to end. The quality of construction and materials are great. I highly recommend them to both friends and family.

I love my home at Hammock Cove. Smart floor plan, lots of storage and a big kitchen island. Really nice people at Pulte who always follow up and they have a great warranty.
