I find my self very saddened to even have to write this, however this build is one of three for my family and by far the worse experience I’ve had with Pulte Builders. First it 14 months to build and close but that’s a story for a later date that I’m willing to share when or if asked. Now that we’ve been in the home for two months which we can’t use the bathtub, the window blinds don’t operate properly, closet doors slam when used, the floors won’t come clean no matter what, they continue to look very strange. The quality of the home was very bad with lot of issues like cracked granites, bad quality items even after availing Smart Hone package. Unresponsive construction manager with very bad workmanship.

Rusted kitchen countertop. The spots are spreading everyday. None of the people from Pulte are responding. They are claiming it to be natural stone mineral deposits. This is not true at all.

There are so many issues with the home. Finishing is bad. Paint issue in so many places. Field manager rushed us to give him good rating at first but now we regret it. Cracked walls, cracks and damages in the floor and in so many places. It feels like Pulte just want to sell their home and don't care about the home quality. We are having very bad experience. We should have gone with lennar or taylor Morrison. Would not recommend pulty to anyone.

Pulte is worst builder

My first home in 2006 was with Pulte and I can tell you my experience with Pulte from 2006 and in 2022 are quite in stark difference. Pulte Mortgage itself is very horrible to deal with. I never had such a bad experience getting mortgage with Pulte. Even the manager had to set me up with an outside banker as he understood how bad Pulte Mortgage is. I also don't appreciate new vent system with Pulte. They are made of cheap plastic pipes which in turn will get worst eventually. This will be my last purchase with Pulte. No more and never again.

Our home building process with Pulte @ Hunters Run Fishers IN, which was supposed to be exciting and joyful turned into worst nightmare of our life as soon as we signed the contract. The new home build process was financially and mentally detrimental to our entire family. Had an issue with main staircase with visual nail marks on treads and open gaps between stairs and stringer. All 16 steps out of 16 steps have gaps and nail marks. Reported to site manager before closing and he told us to handle it with warranty. Stairs contractor and Pulte warranty manager came out and look at it. Our sales agent was great she is the only person I could count on. She kept the deal together when the site manager and construction crews were screwing up the build. I could not believe or count on a single word said by anyone else. Starting with the plumbing right down to forgetting the brick on the facade. Issues were clearly visible and workmanship poor. We purchased our home on line not even seeing a model home. The main item on our list was either a ranch style house or an owner suit on a main level . This is why we picked Hartwell model floor plan. Our primary suite not really a suite because of the size of our bathroom in particular...looks cramped not functional; there is not even a room to mount a towel holder. This was not a great experience. My first review was very in depth but it ‘drew business away’ but new home source wouldn’t post it because they are paid by the builders to host their information - just to be transparent. This was bad from start to finish it has been months since closing and many items are still not completed on our punch list. We do not have final occupancy from the village. It has been a struggle every moment of the way. Good Luck!

I have a 3 page list of poor quality material selections, poor installation, let alone poor house design issues, that has not been addressed in any timely or comprehensive manner since our closing on Aug 31, 2022 for our new home in Lazy K Bar Ranch. I have bad experience with Pulte Quality of Building

I am experiencing multiple heater issues in my new house 1) getting big noise while running heater multiple times in a day in Flex room as well as powder room. Pulte management saying it's as per quality, I did check with multiple Willwood house owners and they are not getting any noise. 2) we need to wait 3 to 4 minutes every time to get hot water in master bathroom so we are wasting 15 to 20 minutes of water every day before shower.

Right from the beginning, it was so tough to get any update from the construction manager. Target closing date Aug 2021 got delayed for 1 year. Finally closed in Aug 2022. Final walkthrough was a nightmare. They missed to put the window in one bedroom and got caught during inspection. Beware of Pulte or any of their related co’s

Pulte DID NOT follow their own guiding principles: “Do the right thing”; “Compassion for the customer” or “Care about quality”. They bullied us into closing on a house that was Not “Complete, Clean or Move-In-Ready” They switch out appliances selected and paid for to lower level brand. A house that should look new looks like a 20 year old resale due to chipped floor tiles, chipped drywall corners, scratched doors, dented and gouged baseboard and trim, window, door, electrical and plumbing issues, too many more list.

The construction quality of the house is bad. The site managers are not diligent in their work and very difficult to communicate with. Apparently, this is the same view shared by most of the Pulte home buyers in my community. I would recommend looking for a different builder if their is an option to choose from.
