We had emailed a number of times through the building process, a number of concerns were assured and not fulfilled. Final walk through was horrible with damage, failures, and craftsmanship issues, throughout the house. After Final walk and keys were provided, PULTE representatives do not respond or stay it was not on the final walk through notes, "so sorry" or that "is normal." We are very disappointed in the builder and their representatives!

I've purchased three new homes, and my experience with Pulte was the worst compared to Shea and Lennar. Pulte only cares about quantity not quality. Our construction manager was absolutely horrible and come to find out he had no prior experience. Our homes quality is completely unacceptable and it was not even cleaned when we came home after closing. It has been problem after problem. Two homes in one year with substandard quality

I built two Salerno model homes in 2024, closing on both within six months of each other. If I had known what the quality of workmanship would be, I would not have had Pulte build these two homes even though the location was spectacular. I could write a very long review with the problems but mainly I would have to say poor quality of subcontractors. Overpriced, poor workmanship and too much time to fix issues

The houses are overpriced for the quality of materials and workmanship. Every place in the house shows that the construction was rushed. Multiple things damaged which are getting fixed but it just generates a sense of frustration on why these were not addressed before closing - why not get things right in the first place. Issues pointed out by inspectors are often ignored. There is a blatant disregard for the house owners work schedule where some of the third party vendors show up at random times or just keep pushing schedules at will. I recently moved into a new construction home, and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing due to poor workmanship of the workers contracted by Pulte. From the moment I stepped inside, it was clear that corners were cut. Several walls have noticeable gaps, and the paint job is uneven, with drips and missed spots throughout. These problems indicate a lack of attention to detail during the construction process. Overall, I expected a higher standard of quality from a new build, and I am left feeling dissatisfied and concerned about the long-term durability of my home.

Model home disaster

My mom bought a modeled at Winding Meadows in apopka and we received the house not in yhe quality expected. New flooring had paint stain, electrical wiring to the front door has issues, front porch pavers unsteady and coming apart, we contacted the office and the fix the issues. For the past 2 months, we received the water bill almost $350. When we investigated the issue further come to find out we are watering the HOA side of the lawn as well and that has a leak. There’s been issues after issues. It’s making it hard to enjoy this house.

We had one issue after another with our build. We would tell CM something was not correct, their response was on it but it never got changed until we demanded it. Towel bars are not hung straight, don't match on both sides of the sink. Take lots of pictures at your design appointment. Make sure you have correct samples of what you are picking for everything. Get exact names of products, ask the designer is this an accurate sample of what will be installed. If you build with Pulte, I would not do any upgrades with them. They do poor work. Pulte Finance is the worst!

My story is too long to tell about the finance division, but I felt like I was watching a version of The Kindergarten Keystone Cops! Sooo inexperienced and deceptive. I reported them to several government agencies for their shady business actions. Sales agent Cynthia was great, but “left out” important information about the homes structure elements and use of the amenities. The Construction manager Ryan was awesome. He pulled everything together for us so we went through with the purchase. I have yet to find a problem other than a few dead azaleas.

Beware of Dishonest Sales team

The salesperson I worked with was dishonest on multiple occasions. While Pulte has a decent reputation, this individual lies and manipulates situations with no accountability. Then when concerns are escalated, you’re sent to a general sales manager who pretends to listen to your concerns, only to be dismissed, disrespected, and told “you can always find somewhere else to live.” As soon as I moved in and began talking to others in the community, they shared similar stories about how this same salesperson misled them on several occasions. We spent A LOT of money on our Pulte home and we've had countless corrections and fixes that have had to be made from the flooring and walls to the A/C. The warranty department has been pretty responsive to issues post closing and has done a pretty good job there, but our construction manager did not. We had a TON of issues to resolve just prior to closing and several had to be postponed until after closing due to lack of responsiveness in taking care of them in time. Communications with the construction manager is utmost important in the whole home purchasing process. Our experience with Tony was horrible. We were told by Tony that the foundation was going to be poured after the New Year holidays 2024. It was poured right after Christmas 2023 without our knowledge and as a result things were missing. This is July 2024 two months after our closing, we are still not able to enjoy our new home because there are still things that need to be fixed.

the build quality is horrible and the home was not even cleaned properly before i was given the keys on the day of closing. the build quality is such that , i keep finding some or the other stuff wearing off every single day. the construction manager doesnt even respond after closing. the island was never painted properly. just another sloppy substandard housing community which cramp into each other.

We purchased a home from Pulte as we liked the floor plan and overall our experience with Pulte has been very disappointing. The home we brought is over $1.3 mil , for that much we would expect better quality of material, workmanship, better finishes and overall a much better looking neighborhood. Disappointed with Pulte

I think the main problem is that the Construction Supervisor is new to this type of house, so the subcontractors took advantage and did subpar work! Overall it is a good build, it’s just that all the little things have added up. It started with the HAVAC system wired wrong it took two appointments to correct. Gutter system installation was and remains incomplete. Promised a “Smart” home with Google nest thermostats instead Pulte installed old Honeywell T6 thermostats. Most requests for warranty service have been submitted twice.
