As far as purchasing the home from Pulte. We our very disappointed with Pulte. We purchased the upgraded gourmet kitchen. We only received one the four upgrades that we were told we were purchasing. The microwave is the cheapest counter top microwave that they make and you called it a built in microwave when you cut the wall out and placed it in it. (In which they did a horrid job in doing). The only kitchen upgrade we received was the cook top the rest was all lies!!!!! We have had many requests for repairs that needed done actually before we should have ever closed, and as of now two ...

The walk through was rushed. After moving in, we have experienced many issues. Leaves a very bad taste in our mouths when you pay 700k+ for a home that has leaks, electrical issues, etc. Probably wouldn't recommend Pulte at this point.

There is no customer service. Sales were unresponsive and Barret was unresponsive. We ended up with them cutting into slab when we requested it not be done. We didn’t get the gas outlet in laundry room that was initially requested.

Love the house. Hate the customer service. Completely unacceptable to have half your house with electricity and told you can't get the rest of it fixed for over a week. The home buying process was already a severe disappointment because of all the delays. 1. No electrical box 2. No water meter 3. Failed city inspection twice. 4. We signed to buy a quick move in home which was completed up to structure. Nobody mentioned before contract that garage will be incomplete, incomplete drywall and with no paint. After just move in they increased the HOA without any prior notice. The exterior works finishing is not good. Its differs from what we saw in model home. The floor, stairs make cracking noise when we walk, the carpet joining is visible.

Pulte cuts corners, from poor quality dry wall to 24" center studs on interior. Two outlets in huge basement. Lower end appliances. No ceiling fans without huge cost. Cheap wire racks/shelves in all closets. NO landscaping included. Small driveways and garages. Poor lighting in bathrooms.

We were lured to this home with incentives like: "sale" "builder buydown interest rate" "model home" "new construction" "already upgraded" etc. Once we entered into contract with Pulte, their whole attitude changed towards us. We reviewed the contract and the "upgrade" list and found over 20K worth of charges for upgrades they didn't install but tried to charge us for anyway. They promised us the rate buydown and we had to fight for Pulte to do it as they tried to pin it on us at closing. Nickel and Dime Building

The upgrading process is absurd. I understand upgrading is expected if you want nice things, but the level to which they nickel and dime you on upgrades is egregious. Like who doesn’t want lighting in their bedrooms? How on earth is that upgrade? Selling a stove and microwave but not a fridge makes no sense. The cheap wire shelving that comes in every closet is an embarrassment. Even on the building itself they cut corners. Studs are supposed to be 16 inches apart by standard. They did 22 inches apart to save on lumber. They only use flat paint because semi-gloss or better requires better ...

Experiences already sent into Pulte survey. No response from Pulte. The warranty manager is working on getting things done. We will see how this works. The house was not done "before" we moved in. It should not have closed. There were about 50 to 60 items either put in wrong, done, poorly or not done at all. Quality is not a word we would use for Pulte.

We selected a 2-story design on a concrete pad in the $500K+ price range. Under present circumstances I cannot recomend the purchase of a Pulte home. Mortgaged it through Pulte w $15K closing cost incentive which was quite helpful in lowering interest rate. The mortgage app process was fairly simple and smooth. Loved it but: The quality of materials is average at best, a lot of the workmanship was simply awful. Pulte provides mass produced builder homes, built by the lowest priced sub-contractors, and rarely respond to customer questions/complaints. The designs are great, the lots are small, and the finishing touches are god-awful. Still its better than CC Homes and Lennar in SWFL. These can be a good live, just be aware of what you are getting into.

List of things that we discussed still not taken care of. HOA people make everything sound like you are an inmate. Our salesperson left and the new person said he would do follow ups and never did. Our construction manager was not effective in follow up our his own pre inspection before our inspection with him.

The whole process was a nightmare. The house was build by a couple of guys that didn’t know how to do anything it was insane. Please don’t make this mistake look somewhere else. All the houses have problems.

We bought a property at Pulte knowing they were the number 3 builder in the US, but least to say that we’re dissatisfied and disappointed. We’ll probably going to try another builder next time we purchase a home and we’re going to recommend it as well to family and friends.

Lots of challenges from the beginning w pulse lender , time to get things done. And then when house under appraised only way to bring price down was to close 3.5 weeks earlier. However the house had a lot of punch list items that even with 2 weeks post closing was not finished. 5 weeks major items complete. Still a few left that time is tbd. The process started off easily, but then my house sat with no work being done for a month until right before closing. Then closing had to be pushed back twice. I’ve been in the house for a month and it’s still not done.

Lack of pride & quality workmanship, overpriced home

It's been a long journey, with no end in sight. We are not happy with the deficient workmanship of the trades Pulte hired. Little attention to detail on the finishes leading to multiple delays in closing. To say that this process has been very frustrating is an understatement and would not recommend this builder to anyone. People are nice, but this is our home, and unfortunately, they did not take that in consideration. They say they understood our concerns, but they didn't. Piece of advice: be vigilant and hold builders accountable throughout the home building process.

Poor workmanship - lots of sloppy work. Paint runs and spatters, cracks and chips in tile and quartz counter tops, kitchen cabinets and all doors (including glass shower doors and sliders misaligned. Trim was low cost and fairly rough for price. Door trim at front door is peeling away from frame. Responsiveness to problems was slow from the sales personnel to the construction managers.

1. When you use Puhlte mortgage company, they change rates on different items to keep your money. It doesn’t do any good to buy down your rate because your payment stays the same with the increase of charges they add. 2. Very hard to get them to fix any new house issues, in a timely manner. Horrible war zone like and game playing process

Cheap material are used to build the house with a lot of defects, which took 2 months after closing and not yet completed. The process is a joke with LIES . They will rush you a date to do the walk and rush you a date for closing. My suggestion is that DO NOT TRUST THEM !

The overall experience hasn't been great and I would not see myself recommending Pulte to anyone. We bought an existing home that was in the middle of being finished that another homeowner walked away from. First of all this builders scheduled the celebration walk through. We live out of state so we booked tickets, hotel and a car, then the week prior they said they were closed for a holiday yet they were the ones who booked the walk through date and time.
