Great space but the dynamics and the locations of things placed int he space does not make sense and makes it a bit inconvenient. Build seemed rushed so we found a few inconsistent things like unfinished frames, dried paint in the drains causing water backups, clogged toilets that should not be clogged, and finished decor that clearly makes it different than other units. But it is a new build and home so we are trying to enjoy this experience but wished it wasn't rushed.

Our primary concern is the poor build quality and finishing of our new home. Many issues we reported before closing were only temporarily fixed, and several patches have already come apart, with no response from the construction manager on the items they agreed to address after closing. In addition, we were disappointed by the misinformation from the sales manage - such as being told no price adjustments were given to buyers after a base price reduction, while we later learned that other residents did receive blinds or small adjustments. We purchased a row home in the Highland Bridge neighborhood in St. Paul. We love the location and home but are a bit disappointed in the quality of some components like the garbage and recycling bins which came off track within a few weeks. Also the distribution of heat is not optimal and the first (of three) floor is quite chilly despite the vents being fully open. In the process of getting these points addressed soon I hope. Great and seamless purchase but know that nothing during the build process can be modified.

The quality of workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Further, for a brand new home, the place was very dirty upon move-in. Lacking an attention to detail for sure. We have daylight showing beneath main doors to the outside and between the siding slats in the attic. This can't be energy efficient as advertised.

This was our third Pulte home as we moved from Illinois to Arizona. During the overall process, we had a good experience with our Construction manager Tony and the construction of our new home. He kept us in the loop and updated us and fixed issues as they came up. The house was finished three months early (which would normally be a great thing) however, based on our situation was not fantastic because we had a less than optimal experience with the Pulte mortgage side of things. Ultimately, it is a good location - in a newly forming development right near Ft Meade. The layout is pure open concept, and pretty useful. Some areas to be aware of: First, be diligent in the QA/QC process before accepting the new home. There are lots of areas that will show hurried work (it happens). Second, Pulte mortgage is a pretty invasive process - and then you get moved to a new mortgage holder (finance company) before the first payment. Just know those things going in, and make the best decisions for you. Good luck.
