We were rushed to closing. We submitted third party inspection report before closing that grass is not healthy and need to be replaced. I was told it just needs some sun and would turn green soon after closing. I trusted and approved final walk. But the grass never turned green. When i requested in warranty they are currently pushing back to even add it in warranty

It was a long and painful experience. The last part of the completion was awful to say the least. We didn't like the way we were treated by some members of the construction team.

They rushed through to get it closed on time. Multiple things not completed or damaged when moved in. They said they’d fix it but we’ve been waiting over a month with little to nothing getting fixed. Have to keep reaching out and it gets pushed off. Most of the house is still good but bad experience overall. A lot of neighbors had similar experience.

Not the build experience we expected from a company like Pulte

Overall was not the experience we expected, thought Pulte would be a very reputable company to work with; however ran into issues every step of the way. Quality is definitely not to expectations of a luxury home, especially for the price we paid and the neighborhood value. The mortgage process was also very poorly managed, we had to close at a much higher interest rate that could have been avoided. Our home exterior is still incomplete with no line of sight when the exterior and landscaping will be complete.

We are not happy with the delays and lack of commitment to make this process a smooth transition. We have been in this house almost two months and we are still waiting on things to be fixed. The response time is slow and we are constantly being told we are waiting for a response from the vendor. We believe that a builder should have several vendors so that when one is slacking the the other can pick up the slack. The customer should be in this bind. I would not recommend Pulte to a friend or family member!!!!

The poor quality of the materials and workmanship!

The contractor I worked with was great and responsive during the build, but the quality and workmanship was far below what is acceptable. If you pay over $500k for a condo, the cabinets should not be the same quality that you find at Walmart. The floor has severe squeaks and the paint job throughout the house is horrible. I am so disappointed in the overall quality.

I would not recommend pandemic building to anyone. While continually being told that COVID was the reason for various issues we experienced, it is not responsible for everything. The finish quality of house is sub-par at best. Sales person was happy to collect his money and move on with no regard for helping address issues. Original project manager no longer with company which is a good thing given the quality of work he let slide. The only bright side at the moment is the new project manager actually seems to care and is looking to actually have the house finished 2 months after we closed.

In the midst of the virus, we understood there would be delays and we were in no rush. We expected a home that was move in ready and that we would find few issues. We were very disappointed to find a lack of professional craftmanship, lack of attention to detail and low quality of materials used (paint, windows, cabinets). The home was far from acceptable when they scheduled the final walkthrough and we delayed the closing. I thought about my response for a while. I took time to settle into my home before writing the review. Overall, I believe that either Pulte used subpar workers or workers that did not respect the population for which the homes were built. The shortcuts in the units are apparent, from the nails sticking out of the carpet (my daughter, my dog, and I have stepped on the nails; they puncture the skin), the shotty trim that meets the flooring, the air filters are filled with dust from construction, the extra holes and bulging spackle on the sheetrock that show through the paint. Sales team is worst team you can get . Even build manager was rude. Pulte mortgage team was also worst. Had terrible experience. Best part was after build manager left they assign new build manager (Mark) and he was best and did help great in everything towards closing.

Had a bad experience with being closed before YE, to benefit Pultes books, but not our first home buying experience. The actual closing and mortgage process with Pulte was great! But moving day, the house was filthy, mismatched matte/gloss spots throughout interior, and the list of things that were to be completed hadn’t even been touched. It’s now been almost 2 months and 3/50 things on the list have been completed, but poorly so they need to be redone (e.g., wrong paint and missed spots again, scratched pocket door during install, etc.). Just moved into my new house a month ago. Pulte was VERY motivated to get my house done for their quarterly numbers. They moved heaven and earth to get my house done be Dec 30th. The past few weeks though have been hard to get ahold of my contractor, issues are still outstanding, and I sometimes get a timely callback. It’s like once you sign they don’t really care too much. Walls are crooked that have to be fixed. Doors don’t align. Wind can be heard inside the house by the vent flaps. The outside of my house has stucco issues that aren’t fixed. Quality of the end product is terrible. When you provide feedback you get yelled at and ignored most of the time as if you have no say. Very poor customer service. Field manager acts as if he is doing you a favor when you approach him with an issue. The contractors make many mistakes and skip important steps in all aspects of the building, if you are not versed in construction you will miss serious issues they create. Very sad!

I haven’t reported issues, yet. I am on the first floor with what I was told single hung windows and I am freezing. Blinds and shades didn’t help much. I don’t understand vents in the ceiling when everyone knows heat rises. I wish with all my heart I could write you a great review.
