We spent A LOT of money on our Pulte home and we've had countless corrections and fixes that have had to be made from the flooring and walls to the A/C. The warranty department has been pretty responsive to issues post closing and has done a pretty good job there, but our construction manager did not. We had a TON of issues to resolve just prior to closing and several had to be postponed until after closing due to lack of responsiveness in taking care of them in time. There is a long list of issues, including faulty Procom Ethernet cables, large divots in the lawn that make it unsafe for play, water leakage in the basement and sunroom, and missing items from documented change orders, among other concerns.

Communications with the construction manager is utmost important in the whole home purchasing process. Our experience with Tony was horrible. We were told by Tony that the foundation was going to be poured after the New Year holidays 2024. It was poured right after Christmas 2023 without our knowledge and as a result things were missing. This is July 2024 two months after our closing, we are still not able to enjoy our new home because there are still things that need to be fixed.

the build quality is horrible and the home was not even cleaned properly before i was given the keys on the day of closing. the build quality is such that , i keep finding some or the other stuff wearing off every single day. the construction manager doesnt even respond after closing. the island was never painted properly. just another sloppy substandard housing community which cramp into each other.

We purchased a home from Pulte as we liked the floor plan and overall our experience with Pulte has been very disappointing. The home we brought is over $1.3 mil , for that much we would expect better quality of material, workmanship, better finishes and overall a much better looking neighborhood. Disappointed with Pulte

I think the main problem is that the Construction Supervisor is new to this type of house, so the subcontractors took advantage and did subpar work! Overall it is a good build, it’s just that all the little things have added up. It started with the HAVAC system wired wrong it took two appointments to correct. Gutter system installation was and remains incomplete. Promised a “Smart” home with Google nest thermostats instead Pulte installed old Honeywell T6 thermostats. Most requests for warranty service have been submitted twice.

The details inside the house were not cleaned up. Trim is in terrible shape. The walls needed more painting as spots were missed. Whoever they sent out to fix the problems would just half work what needed to be done. For a $437k house, I dont feel like im getting my moneys worth.

My home settled in December. It was repeatedly made clear, by Pulte, that the home must be completely paid for at least one day before settlement. I honored that requirement in good faith. There were many items that needed attention post settlement. None insurmountable. 4 months post settlement, they still have not completed all of the repairs.They don’t group any repairs together for the same day, consequently, not even by the same trade, so you need to be home many, many days to allow them to do just a few quick minor repairs. As far as purchasing the home from Pulte. We our very disappointed with Pulte. We purchased the upgraded gourmet kitchen. We only received one the four upgrades that we were told we were purchasing. The microwave is the cheapest counter top microwave that they make and you called it a built in microwave when you cut the wall out and placed it in it. (In which they did a horrid job in doing). Poor quality and bad experience so far

The walk through was rushed. After moving in, we have experienced many issues. Leaves a very bad taste in our mouths when you pay 700k+ for a home that has leaks, electrical issues, etc. Probably wouldn't recommend Pulte at this point.

There is no customer service. Sales were unresponsive and Barret was unresponsive. We ended up with them cutting into slab when we requested it not be done. We didn’t get the gas outlet in laundry room that was initially requested.

Love the house. Hate the customer service. Completely unacceptable to have half your house with electricity and told you can't get the rest of it fixed for over a week. We signed to buy a quick move in home which was completed up to structure. Nobody mentioned before contract that garage will be incomplete, incomplete drywall and with no paint. After just move in they increased the HOA without any prior notice. The exterior works finishing is not good. Its differs from what we saw in model home. The floor, stairs make cracking noise when we walk, the carpet joining is visible.

Pulte cuts corners, from poor quality dry wall to 24" center studs on interior. Two outlets in huge basement. Lower end appliances. No ceiling fans without huge cost. Cheap wire racks/shelves in all closets. NO landscaping included. Small driveways and garages. Poor lighting in bathrooms.

We were lured to this home with incentives like: "sale" "builder buydown interest rate" "model home" "new construction" "already upgraded" etc. Once we entered into contract with Pulte, their whole attitude changed towards us. The upgrading process is absurd. I understand upgrading is expected if you want nice things, but the level to which they nickel and dime you on upgrades is egregious. Like who doesn’t want lighting in their bedrooms? How on earth is that upgrade? Selling a stove and microwave but not a fridge makes no sense. The cheap wire shelving that comes in every closet is an embarrassment. Even on the building itself they cut corners. Studs are supposed to be 16 inches apart by standard. Experiences already sent into Pulte survey. No response from Pulte. The warranty manager is working on getting things done. We will see how this works. The house was not done "before" we moved in. It should not have closed. There were about 50 to 60 items either put in wrong, done, poorly or not done at all. Quality is not a word we would use for Pulte.
