After two months of home ownership I have a 15+ bullet point list of issues still needing resolved. Still don’t have a working oven, and a row of tiles have fallen off my home due to poor workmanship during installation. A lot of the concerns have been brought forward from even pre closing dates that have yet to be fixed. Additionally since we started this process we are now on our third foreman... that should tell you something.
Pulte Homes responded:

We would like to bring this to leadership's attention and would appreciate if you could please email customersupport@pultegroup.com with a brief summary of your concerns along with your address and contact information. We are the new homeowner from Pulte, just moved into new home since August 18th for 3 days but with many surprised issues. Irrigation system has been set up wrong initially by Loving group who is hired by Pulte which caused $1200 plus water bill for 1-2 months and Pulte told us this is not their responsibility; Important warranty registration information was not shared during closing so we missed good benefits for extended warranty. Cabinets have scratches, lawns are damaged by community truck, we are told these are all not covered by Pulte warranty. We feel quality of home is not good and ...

The best part of the build is that they have done this at a pretty good pace and kept up with the timeline as promised (in fact a week before the tentative completion date). However the overall build quality is not to the expectations. It is quite evident in the finishing or touch up works done in the last minute and the very shabby job of cleaning the house or power washing the basement and garage. It was delivered in a "not so clean" state. Not satisfied !!!
Pulte Homes responded:

Cut Corners and Misinformation

I was so excited to build my second brand new home. We went with Pulte this time because we thought their reputation was good. There were a lot of corners cut. The first minor but major thing is the paint they use. I have never seen paint so cheap and thin in my life. My last builder used flat paint but it was a decent grade. This paint pulte uses the minute you wipe it you're down to the drywall. We had delays because of COVID that pushed our close date back several months. We understood that it was no fault of Pulte however because of that when we finally got our close date we were ...

We moved in to a house with the outside property still under construction. We are extremely disappointed with the execution of the construction. The repairs to the outside promised were not done. The lawn has been a disaster waiting for, and the property is littered with rocks. Molding is not caulked and Pulte is now trying to direct us to put all the issues into warrantee.

I wanted to say that everything was great that we bought an amazing home, but its been almost 2 months since we closed and we still have issues that have not been fixed. We bought a spec home and started the process in April. After a couple walk throughs we were supposed to have issues fixed. Many of them are still pending going into July. The sales agent didn't know how to communicate, often times never responding to questions. We had the foreman who was getting things done for us on punchlist items, only to get laid off leaving us waiting with someone else who is slow and unresponsive ...

If I had not stopped at the construction site every week, many things would not have been fixed until it was too late. Plumbing in the wrong place. Air conditioner pad in the wrong place. Electrical disconnect and service outlet for A/C in the wrong place. Contractors smoking in the house. Shower stall glass in master bathroom not caulked. Garage door controls on garage wall reverised. Screen for patio door bad, still waiting after a month and half to be replaced and installed. Base trim cut wrong but installed anyway. Very well designed and functional. The only thing is that the workmanship is very poorly done, not professional workers. The paint inside is horrible, spot missing on wall, paint on the rugs, doors are so rough you can’t wash them. The grass was put on top of the sprinklers we had to dig them out. We spoke with neighbors in the community and they told us they had similar problems. For the price of these home I expected more quality work done.

Compare to other new construction houses ,Pulty model house is simple design, not special at all. We found out lot of issues when we walked through the house after it built and the whoever person in charge promised he would fix the problem but which he missed multiple area not fixed at all. We are kind of disappointed. The material they used are super cheap. After we moved in not even a month , the paint on the wall started to peel off. Everything looks good until you close on the house

Everything seems great until about the last 1-2 weeks prior to you closing on your new home. During that time is when the inside of the house actually starts to come together. At that point you will meet with a Project Manager that will walk you around the house to mark any areas that you deem to be flawed. The majority of this is related to drywall, paint, etc. At that point they will add tape to the affected areas. Here is where the issue lies. After you spend literally 2 hours marking the whole place up, they trust and turn over the work to subcontractors that have no skin in the game. For ...

I closed on 2/19/20. To date, the exterior painting (including caulking and ceiling) and landscaping has not been completed. Also, the exterior was littered with construction debris. There are also interior issues that cannot be addressed at this time due to COVID-19 but reflect upon the quality of workmanship. I am currently having shingle blow offs and shingle flapping in several sections of the roof that has not been resolved although reported.

The home seems nice on the initial inspection but once a closer look is taken, the craftsmanship is not good for the money that was spent. The attention to detail is lacking and we are continuously finding things that were not done properly. It seems that the attitude of "that's good enough" was taken when finishing the home. While Pulte is trying to address all of our issues, it is taking a long time to get someone in the home to fix things.

When we closed on the house, we found the place a mess. There were nails and screws strewn through the lawn on every side of the house and garage. Debris was littered all around. Painters had smeared pain on outside faucet, mortar and paint buckets were washed out and poured in the grass. We have a window that was incorrectly installed and it has been nearly three months with no one correcting the problem.
