The only bright spot was Tim the construction manager. He was fantastic to work with and a real professional. The subs used in our development were the worst I have seen. (This is our 3rd build - plus one rebuild after hurricanes. Paint on the floors, walls not level and/or straight, paver contractor was horrible, electrical problems throughout the house and more. I would never build with them again, nor would I recommend Pulte or their sister companies to anyone.

Final product was not in good shape. Entire countertop has to be replaced due to chips and wrong cutouts around cabinets. New HVAC installed in the wrong place, TWICE. One HVAC sounds like it is blowing up when it starts and stops. Upgraded ceiling fan in family room installed 15 feet in the air with pull chains. Seriously? Pulte mortgage continued to hound us for documents when we hadn't even sold both our homes. Work order placed for 10 various items on Oct 3rd. Have reached out countless times with no response. Worst Service Response and Poor Construction Quality and Weak Construction manager

We love the house location and design. The problem we have with Pulte is that it is the most unethical company I have ever done business with. If we brought up any issues during construction we were always told that is the way it's supposed to be. We were lied to repeatedly during the construction process. If you truly cared about my opinion I believe you should have listened during the construction process.

Not a lot of respect for the buyer, workmanship issue unresolved

Pulte decides when the buyer has a walk through, even if the buyer isn't available. There is no recourse or anyone to receive your requests to simply attend your own buyer walk through. Pulte will change your inspection dates to meet their schedule. Now I have a workmanship issue and no one from Pulte customer care will respond. Go ahead, try to find people from Pulte on the internet. Imagine if you have a problem. You can't find anyone to call. They'll call you every day when you are buying, but can't return a call for poor workmanship.

Pulte homes, St. Augustine, FL division did not deliver the home on time, did not make sure all the issues found in the pre walkthrough are addressed by the closing date. The post sales support team is not even responsive. No progress on the issues raised during the final walkthrough nor any communication on their plan in addressing the issues raised. A painful experience, it was unorganized, and A LOT of miscommunication between EACH department making it a pain in the butt to go through. Rough start to our Pulte experience

Starting out very discouraged with our Pulte experience. We had items that needed to be corrected that project manager said would be corrected after closing, which are still pending and he never followed up to complete tasks. Booked home on 11/21/2021. Initially promised build time was 12-15 months. But they took their own time of 20 months to construct and finally gave a closing date of 6/28/2023. The delay itself is a problem but I can understand it. But the house is not in a closing condition on 6/28/2023. I closed the home as my rate lock is expiring and by that time frankly frustrated with the builder and their responsiveness. We were told everything had to go through the sales agent. This was a nightmare. We had asked for sample tiles in the beginning and never received them until a few weeks from closing. Poor quality of equipments, HVAC and AC had major issues, my tenant keeps complaining of this stuff. My intention of buying a new property was to ensure I don’t face such petty electronic issues, but Pulte made it happen. I don’t think I’ll buy another Pulte property and will inform my acquaintances too if my experience.

Home Not Finished Upon Purchase

Was promised a finished home and threatened with penalty if we didn’t close on time. Closed on time, but home wasn’t finished. Moved in without appliances being in place. Living at residence for a month and house still isn’t graded and is covered in mud. Several things not completed during last clean - basement not cleaned, nails and debris left on roof. Not a great experience.

Purchased a spec home where most choices were already made, although I was allowed a couple of options. I requested to add a saltwater pool, got a pool but was chlorine pool, now have to pay an additional $2,000 to convert it. We brought our first home with pulte. During 2022 we have signed our contract it took over 12 months for the house to finish…Taking more than an year the house came up with very bad finishing no proper cleaning lot of fixes and it’s been 3 months there are still issues when you spend over 500k in Texas it’s a big thing…they reduce lot sizes and they built very quality less houses… Please do some investigation atleast in San Antonio area when your going with pulte.

We closed on our home in early April. We have a long list of blue tape repairs that were not done before closing and are yet to be done. A supervisor has been by and reviewed our problems and has told us that the problems will be addressed. We trust that will happen soon

Where as we love our new home layout, we are very disappointed with the process and quality of materials. The standard finishes are embarrassingly cheap. When you walk through the models you are tempted to mimic what you see but doing so will cost you many 10’s of thousands more. The sales and construction crew made many promises they were not able to deliver and left a terrible taste in my mouth.

The location was very desirable, but the Quality was not. Expectations for a nearly $400K unit were simply NOT met. The upgrades which were nearly $50K, were done with very little attention to Quality. My experience with Pulte to date. My wife and I arrived late Friday at our new house only to discover the keys provided did not open any locks. (great quality control) The woman in the sales office helped us gain access via the garage, luckily the code was not changed. She then used her master key to unlock the front door. Finished our home on the agreed amount time. The quality of our home is very poor. Zero supervision of workers and now we’re trying to play catch up to fix our patchwork house. Our overall build process was honestly a nightmare. We had such high hopes knowing friends who have built with Pulte and were so happy, but our experience was quite different. If we weren't on top of things every step of the way, not really sure how the outcome would be. The quality was not there. Time frames were not met.
