Our experience with pulte was great !!. All of the pulte employees were friendly and professional. Our build supervisor Tom kept us well informed as our home was being built. Which was especially helpful because we live out of state. Our overall experience with Pulte was excellent

The personnel at the sales office, financing and closing were all great! They quickly responded to any and all questions and concerns alonge the way. However, after we moved in there were some quality issues that we hadn't noticed before and response to these concerns has been very slow. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase but wish we had inspected more carefully and addressed these quality issues before signing.

As first time homebuyers we could not be happier with our entire experience with The Pulte group. The entire team had incredible patience and knowledge throughout the whole process and took their time explaining everything to us so we knew what to expect. The end result was better than we anticipated. If you are first time homebuyers or just looking for a new build I would highly suggest Pulte Homes not just for their quality or professionalism, but for an overall great and fun homebuying experience!

A new house may sound nice, but do your research. While my wife and I thought we were getting the best deal at the time I think we rushed into the decision. The 4 months prior to closing became nothing short of making you think you made the worst investment of your life. We went with Pulte because of the experience and quality we believed we were getting. Our appraisal came in at the cost of the house (even though the appraiser had to go back 1 year to find those comps), but measured smaller than the builder put in our contract. There were several issues with the Pulte Rep and getting us answers or providing bi-laws for the association and Master Association. We found cracked tiles, rebar sticking out of the wall, off centered studs behind the walls, cracked cabinets, and damaged floor boards under the carpet upon closing...just to name just a few things. While we fought tooth and nail to get things replaced before we signed our name on the dotted line; Pulte went as far as a threatening letter to say that we would pay them per day we did not close even though the house was not of quality they promised. While Pulte has a warranty typically you have to go through the process to get things done (which can be a long drawn out process) and we wanted it done before we moved in. The closing itself was a breeze and we are quite happy now that we are all moved in. If I were to do it again, as nice as the house is...I wouldn't build with Pulte because it was not the quality we expected and it was not the experience we were promised. ... More

Overall this was okay. We were familiar with the builders as we built another house with them. Its unfortunate that any upgrade you get with them is still okay material quality. Specifically the carpet is poor (both low grade and high grade) and we were really disappointed with the cabinets. We went "top of the line" and our cabinets look pretty cheap. This sounds weird, especially with low interest rates but I'd recommend getting only structural options and then replacing cabinets, countertops, lights, flooring with higher end products. You'll net the same price but with the headaches of a renovation but the quality will be much better. ... More

Have been in house 2 mos., and few warranty issues have been addressed. Warranty Dept. appear to be fearful of meeting warranty requests from buyer. Possible pressure from bosses or Pulte Construction Co.? Responses by warranty Dept.: No response, Bare minimum or obviously poor and therefore unsuccessful solutions to serious issues. Bullying comments by warranty emails & workers to suggest that the owner is responsible to fix issues, which are clearly stated in Pulte Warranty Book. Monitoring & checking work completed is nonexistent. Poor or no communication, scheduling, and follow up. Responses to home owner in form letter rather than communication as to what solutions are offered by Pulte. Lack of or unqualified workers to correct errors in construction. Errors in construction appear to be caused by hurried, unqualified, unmotivated, or unsupervised workers. The home I purchased has either quality construction or sloppy or unqualified workmanship. Is anyone doing the supervising? There is one person in the Warranty Dept. that has been honest and accessible about the items that need to be fixed in the home. Marquis is the only person that has been to view the problems in the home. It has been so frustrating, time consuming, and unproductive that we may need to consider other options of solving the warranty issues. Sorry I had a very bad experience with Pulte home they don’t do the right think

On site construction crew was great, particularly Chadd and Jamie. What they promised was delivered. The sales team, however, needs to learn how to provide clients accurate information and timelines.

The service from beginning to end was excellence. We are so happy with our new home!!!!!

I feel like cheated. When I decided to buy a new construction house I had expectations to get a perfect house when I am paying close to my hard earned half Million dollars. When we had new house inspection and walk though we found too many issues which was not expected from a new construction. Drywall and finishing was very poor. Everywhere I could see nail holes in dry wall and all the trims, doors and windows. My closing date was rescheduled couple of times. To make up the changes in closing dates construction manager offered Pulte could do something for us. We discussed the option of getting garage finished and install backsplash in the kitchen. Also told me to buy backsplash and grout. They will install it and also will give me a gift card for the price of tiles and grout. Trusting their words was a bad bad idea. It's been almost 2 months after I bought tile and grout. Now they don't even pick up my calls or return the calls. No proper replay on e-mails as well. I am very disappointed I went with Pulte. I should have chosen a more reputable builder. Don't make the same mistake I made. ... More

Pulte has a great team at every division. It is one stop shop for home buyers. They took care of mortgage and insurance as well. It would be nice if the houses/rooms are sound proof. Even a small noise in the living room or any other room can be heard the entire house. They have good team who are pretty responsive and takes care of the issues that we encounter after moving in/warranty period.

This is our second build in the neighborhood. We would not have built again if we did not think Pulte could build a great home!

This is the only new home I ever purchased so its hard to compare them to other builders. However I felt at ease with them and believe house is well built.

Great home built and our questions/issues were resolved quickly. Dan, our field manager, was especially attentive to detail throughout the build process.

Pulte has become more about their profits than delivering a quality home. They cut corners everywhere. After spending near a million, we have to spend money to fix the problems that Pulte is not correcting. There is zero pride of craftsmanship, poor responsiveness. We were Told when pointed out deficiencies, problems, and mistakes.... that "well these are production homes and this is what you get". The subs say Pulte refuses to pay to have it done right. Cheap materials, cheap labor, would not recommend Pulte to anyone.

The build was fast. The homes are very assembly line and common standard. Don't expect anything great or cutting edge but, for the money it's pretty good

The weekly construction updates were very helpful and comforting. We always felt welcome to visit the site. The sales and construction team responded to inquiries in a reasonable timeframe. We wish there was an official 30-day walk-through after purchase.

Someone told me I have to accept that these are "cookie cutter" homes slapped together and sold at highest market value. I like the house but the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail are lacking. Repairs were sub-standard.

Quality of build is really poor. I have seen many new built properties from many builders but their built is the poorest. There are issues just about everywhere in regards to the quality.

I booked my townhouse with Pulte in January 2020 and then Covid happened in March , i though the project will get delayed by a huge sum but instead to my surprise Pulte were very efficient and did not delay the project as expected even in this difficult & challenging times. Pulte has been very trustworthy in delivering project in time. Very happy with their response overall.

We purchased our home in April which was supposed to be ready November-January. We we informed in July we would close in September. We did our walk through and noticed several things which we noted and were supposed to be fixed before closing. . We closed and moved in a week later. The house was left a mess. (we were told construction clean) Cabinets were chipped and covered with paint, the workers left chicken bones, nails, bottles and so much debris in our yard and front of house. We have already had a nail in our tire. Our floors which we upgraded were covered with grout which is not even the right color throughout the house and is stained, our windows were covered with dust as well as our screens. Our garage door was damaged, (reported this in August to Pulte), paint was all over tiles, sprayed over insulation that fell onto the baseboard and stuck, and multiple drip stains all over walls, a/c not working properly, thermostats not properly calibrated, (a/c company out 3 times., our lights flicker all the time, rugs have stains, glue and holes in them. We have multiple cracks in the outside of the house and a few areas of the outside with chunks missing off the house. We have had 2 days of different companies out to fix things and they just do the minimum. We paid for a new home and many things in the home like cabinets have been touched up. We have damaged cabinets, damaged floors (tile and carpet) and damaged walls and paint. We have talked to our sales rep, construction supervisor and manager and they just say oh yes I understand. I don't think so because we did not get a new home, we got a rushed botched home with many damaged things and nobody cares, everyone we talk to passes it on to someone new. We are treated awful because we want our home fixed. ... More
