With any new build, there are going to be issues and naturally the construction crew is going to be understaffed and overworked. The quality of the materials are just OK, especially the cabinets. The wood is soft and the paint scratches off so easily. Ours weren't installed correctly so we had to go through and re-install a lot of them. And there are always going to be little things that just weren't done correctly. Switches that weren't installed correctly, or one switch for 7 different lights. It took the entire length of the build, from framework until 6 weeks after we moved in for them to finally install a window in our guest shower area that didn't show the entire neighborhood the person showering there. I asked and asked and asked. So if you can overlook little things like that and the standard crazy upcharges for everything, then this was overall a good home. Building of this house would have been much smoother if the field manager was more attentive and aware of selections to make sure correct selections are installed and also to have more communication with the buyer during the process and what to expect during the construction of the house. Sales associates were all very helpful but should know more about construction to answer questions when choosing to purchase a home since you don't meet your field manager until well into construction. Closing went smooth, house completed in time frame predicted.

They're totally awesome. All of them.

Would have gave them a 5 but they was in such a rush to meet their deadline that I had to keep asking questions about the same problems items I wanted fix. PM was patient with me but I just feel like the whole build was rushed.

Different departments had different versions of what is included and what are upgrades. Very confusing buying process especially for new buyers. Found very basic issues (like creaking bathroom floors, kitchen hardwood floors, loose lighting fixtures , electrical wiring issues - dryer wouldnt turn on due to faulty and dangerous wiring mistake) - these should have been taken care of during the quality reviews / inspections.

The sales person and building GM were great. They communicated often and immediately tried to resolve any issues or questions

Overall pleased with experience, but one should be aware when moving into new construction that until the building has been “broken in” there will be issues like malfunctioning elevators, fire alarms accidentally triggered, etc.

People were very friendly but don't know who has to communicate was. I received the papers concerne the HOA about 3 weeks after having signed and paid my house. I was told the we will be informed about the activities that are organise it is now 3 months that I moved in the house and still haven heart anything,

I've read a lot of reviews about Pulte. And I've seen a lot of complaints, most seem like the people just weren't paying attention but a few are valid. Communication, build quality, etc. We rarely got updates on anything with the house at first. If we didn't bug and email and text and call constantly we had no clue what was going on. We always wanted to see what the inspection reports were but we never did. That's how involved we were. We wanted to know every piece that went into this house. We drove over 9 hours several times just to get an idea about what was going on. With things like the roof impact rating, the builder and seller had no idea what we were talking about. We had very little control over small details that felt odd. If you buy a Pulte house you're getting the specific build with very little deviation. Post buying, a lot of the issues were fixed in the first month and they made sure to get the right people out to us more than once if something wasn't right which i appreciate. We somehow got a hold of the area manager (who's awesome) and things moved much faster. 2 months in and we have a few issues left, some minor, at least three major. The unfinished basement is great but I spent several days actually sweeping out the sawdust, nails, cigarette butts, and gas station cups. So that's nice. Things like the door stopper weren't' even aligned with door it was stopping but they fixed it. Our garage door is jerry-rigged because (and its assumed) someone put a nail through the electrical cables. No idea what the resell value of that will be. We have a list and almost every week one thing gets fixed. We understand we're not the only house and there's only so much people can do during the pandemic. And it hasn't been so bad an experience that I'd say I'd never buy a Pulte home again. I'm in the military, the next potential place we may go, we looked up if Pulte builds this model out there. But it should be said, if you buy a Pulte home, stay on their butts. GET A THIRD PARTY INSPECTOR A WEEK BEFORE CLOSING PEOPLE! He found a few things we never would've noticed. Yes, i had to deal with a lot of paper work for the mortgage. ITS A MORTGAGE IT SHOULD HAVE PAPER WORK! But the pulte mortgage people were always available and yes they're going to bundle and sell your loan, that's standard practice. But they were great too. Look, you're buying a house, it's a big deal. Don't just ignore it till it's done and trust that it'll be perfect. Annoy, bug, threaten and cajole because if you don't there's no telling what will happen. And once it's bought, stay on them anyway. I think most people just go silent or get frustrated easily and they don't want to deal with it. We still have major issues with the master bath, the grading of the land under the deck, the actual deck is very wobbly. We'll keep on them. But overall it's a fairly good house. I almost gave all questions a 5 star. Some of the trim/molding could have been (easily) cut better and caulked better. Kinda sloppy with the caulking.

Dealing with the PULTE Team from start to finish was very professional and responsive.

They were fast and was real good to deal with the problem

Our heating unit has been broken for over a month and it has not been fixed. Supposedly they need a part that they can’t seem to obtain. It is actually snowing today. No heat. This is a brand new building. How hard is it to find a part? The are building another 50 unit condominium complex right next to ours. Couldn’t they take one heating unit from there. Our heating unit leaked down to the two floors below us, so we are all unable to have anything in our coat closets.

They did what they promised and responded in a timely fashion.

There is always room for improvements on finishing.

Need to be on top of the work all the time, the workers don't care for peoples homes and how much u spend to make it nice , the paint is bad, I can go on . Keep ur eyes open.

Great communication throughout the entire process. Pulte made buying this home very easy. In every aspect of building this home, Pulte was on-time & always one step ahead of the process!
