The Model Home looks great but the contractors did a sub par job in building the homes. Minimal attention to detail. I would not close until all these are completed and if you do get in writing a time frame that they will complete the items

The loan process was good but the building part was poor and rushed the amount of stuff that wasn't done and stuff still ain't done is ridiculous...never again and I been in the house almost 2 months

Pulte homes need a lot of work

We moved into a Pulte new build condo and have so many issues and service is extremely slow (moved in durind COVID 19 SIP order). It took over a month and 4 appointments to get AC repaired. It works now but is incredibly loud. Decided to add ceiling fans so we don't have to live with the loud noise and found out none of the ceiling junction boxes were installed correctly so can't install anything until they are fixed. Master tub had lots of pitting leading to rust spots and now the tub takes over an hour to drain so we are showering in several inches of water. Garage door would stall ...

List of punchlist items that were to be completed between the final walkthrough and closing were not completed and remain incomplete three months later. Inconsistent communication with agent and construction manager. Last minute delays and confusion was common. Good service from title company. Numerous warranty items need attention but cannot be submitted as you are only allowed one opportunity to request warranty work on construction items.

I have found lots of things wrong since moving in that they did that are just poor workmanship. Floors had cut outs for outlets for the electric recliners I had, the edges of the floorings around the outlets had big chips in it. When I noted that during the walk through all they did was take a black marker, flies are grey and color the chips in. All that needed to happen was the flooring need to be taped when they cut the flooring for the outlets, this is flooring 101. The paint is so cheap that when I used a magic eraser to remove a mark it wipes the pint down to the wall board. ...

Building experience was excellent. Our building manager was great and kept in constant contact. Problems started once we moved in. We noticed a long list of issues and attempted to get the pertinent ones fixed and wait on the cosmetic. The Customer Care Manager is polite, but is difficult to get any follow up and zero results. It took over 2 weeks to get in touch with our Customer Service Manager who advised that the issues should have been handled by builder and we would have to wait until 11 month walk thru to get majority addressed. The home looks beautiful but feel like it was rushed. I have plenty of issues that still aren’t fixed my shower is leaking out water and paint needs to be fixed inside and out. Would not buy another Pulte home

Superficially a beautiful home. Several issues with workmanship and things that were left undone at time of move in. Pulte representatives are good at sales and telling you the things you want to hear - but there is horrible, to no, follow up whatsoever. The communication between Pulte representatives, their vendors, and the customer are terrible. I would not purchase another Pulte home.

We were promised that the house will be ready on the 19th Dec. I took all week vacation. At 1pm i got a call that i wont get the keys that day. 2 hrs before i was supposed to move in. During the inspection we found so many defects and the house wasnt even ready. We are still having issues with so many stuff. Loud noise when the furnace stops running. We asked John (Manager) and his respond was, it is normal. Jason (QA Manager) is very helpful and trying to find the problem. There workmanship is very poor.

Several things that were “fixed”’prior to closing were done so poorly that they look horrible and are “just cosmetic” and will not be repaired per the warranty. It’s sad to see how very little pride was taken by the builders and the trades when building our home. No one seemed to care about paint drips, adhesive left on cabinets, shoe molding not matching up, caulking missing, mismatched paint, etc. I was pressured into leaving a “good review” for our builder because “that’s how I keep food on the table for my family” but there are many issues we have found that should have never been allowed ...

This purchase has been a very disappointing experience. I owned Pulte before and that's why I had some comfort purchasing another Pulte home. However, that won't happen again. My very first impression was when I walked into my master bathroom on my first day as an owner...there was urine on my toilet seat. Unbelievable. Bring your own Realtor, put all communications in writing during the building process and DO NOT CLOSE until all work is completed to your satisfaction. Even as disappointing as the Pulte experience was, Dan (the last minute appointed Supervisor) worked his tail off to full fill HIS idea of a quality experience. Thanks Dan!

We have experienced examples of poor workmanship in the construction of our new Pulte home at Lake Forest. Although Pulte is willing to provide subsequent repairs after failures are discovered, they show little interest in preventing errors in the first place since there is an obvious lack of quality control which allows substandard work to be provided to customers. The sales force is wonderful. In general, the home is beautiful. However, after moving in, we saw many, many small issues and a couple not so small. The most important one's are tile poorly installed in the foyer and edges on the corners of the kitchen island that were not finished off and are very, sharp posing a cutting hazard as you walk by. Repeated requests for assistance go unanswered by the Pulte Warranty office.

Poor Responsiveness after 1st Month.

Little and sometimes no response from the building manager after the first month. No adequate heat during the cold season and cooling issues. Am told the air conditioners may be too small to cool home and not set properly to address zones. Mostly no response to texts message or calls. We were one of the last people to purchase a home at Tangerine Ridge and we feel that we have been treated poorly as the building contractors have left the neighborhood. The only truly positive experience we have had was our sales manager Charmaine. She deserves a raise and the rest deserve to pay that raise.

Home was purchased and I was assured that a Pulte person was in charge of making sure subcontractors did things right. Many items were caught on final walk through and it’s now two months later and still waiting for cabinets to be painted where there was clearly poor workmanship. Several other items took forever to address and was very obvious the painters and trades cared little as to the work they put in. Bad jobs, less but very expensive upgrade options

Pulte hires bad contractors who do bad jobs. They don't follow Field Manager's instructions. Field Managers are overloaded and they don't have enough bandwidth to monitor quality of work. Pulte's internal quality team does pathetic job and that's why they certify home with so many issues which homeowner need to point out. Before closing I had marked several items but those were not fixed so I accepted several flaws as it is, just to ensure no further delays in moving-in.

We really enjoy our home, but the warranty items that need to be addressed after moving in....have been a challenge. We've had appointments scheduled, where no one has showed up to work having to be redone. Really enjoy the community and area....the customer service could have improvements.
