Still long way to go for the quality improvement and responsiveness. Strong impression that your goal is just to get an approval signature without listening to the customers' issues afterwards. Pulte still lacks of providing reliable home quality to the customer satisfaction with making the reasonable profits instead of ripping off the customers.

Borderline Disappointment

We we able to purchase a spec home, we were able to see it from the framing stage and on. The framing seemed completed with quality. However once drywall went on and the end stages of the house started coming together is where I had to monitor the house closely. There is absolutely no pride in anyone’s work anymore. Thank god I was able to walk the home on a daily basis. The superintendent was good to work with, but there was so many cosmetic issues. repairs that were completed, were actually worse in some cases. It was stressful trying to catch everything. Subpar workmanship and quality.

Builder team and construction manager were very impressive with their responsiveness. Sales person was extremely pushy and arrogant, always thinking highly of himself. Pultes construction quality is subpar, there is a lot of rattle and shaky parts in this house. Regret going with this builder, mistakes were made.

Still dealing with issues with the home

Building a new home seems like a great idea...

We opted to build a home with Pulte given the limited inventory of available homes on the market. Our friends who built with Pulte 8 years ago warned us not to and we should have listened. The sales and design center process were great. Once construction started is when we had issues. They just slap these homes together with no care. Poor quality of workmanship and no accountability seen by Construction managers

Very poor quality of workmanship overall - few examples include very bad cutting of the roof for pipes out, drywall finish around windows, baseboard footer, staircase railing, sod foundation, appliances not fixing firm in its place and many more. Materials are very cheap especially the lumber is very bad and all the fixtures looks very fancy but very cheap quality. As a renowned builder, I would expect construction managers to review the work performed by contractors, but I have never seen this during my entire home construction process. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the entire process with Pulte. The home was built in poor condition. I had to submit many warranty claims. They are responsive but considering i have only been in my house a month its horrible. At closing i was given keys that didn't work. I couldn't sleep in my room for the first week due to issues that weren't taken care of. Overall if you decide to go with Pulte please inspect and follow through. If i had to do it again i would not purchase with Pulte.

Not the best experience for a first time new home build

The quality shown in the model homes was not what we received in our new home . From the hvac to cabinets that we paid extra for , to the electricity . Just overall would not recommend Pulte to anyone .

Greedy and no quality

I did not expect this, last new home bought was in 2017. Then and now the differences, the sales office is rude, the first question is what is ur budget? Do u have an appointment (no hi no hello, no greeting). The dry wall contractor and framing contractor and the landscaping sub contractors have done a very poor job and have taken the joy out of new house. We were very excited to move into our Pulte Home. We paid a huge premium for our lot which has a lot of natural shrubbery and is a pretty big size. We were told that the lot would be cleaned up prior to move in. Fast forward 2 months after move in, there is still trash, leftover construction materials, a fallen tree trunk, etc on our lot. The lack of care and clean up is holding us back from being able to install a fence and enjoy the lot that we paid for. Paint finish quality is horrible. Peeling and chipping paint on walls and doors already. Drywall feels very weak (crumbles when you put basic drywall screws in to mount anything). I was promised at closing that remaining items on punchlist would be taken care of ASAP after I signed. It has been well over a month and we are still waiting on things to be done. I had to go chasing after them for a lot of things. Took multiple calls and messages before any movement on tasks.

Poor Build quality and is way below from phase 1 homes. There were a lot of issue due at closing, promised to resolve and is now no one owns it and is a service requests that never gets resolved or taken care of. Service requests created 45 days ago are still not resolved. Matt the build manager, is very keen on hiding the issues at the walk, than having them resolved. Multiple issues were identified prior to the closing and now 5 weeks after closing, 80% of them are still outstanding. Multiple emails and phone calls have been made attempting to resolve these matters. Poor craftsmanship across the board. Very disappointed and frustrated. I expected more from Pulte.

Substandard House for a hefty price tag

The house is built very substandard, from the materials chosen to the workmanship. The house is completely out of square, we have had multiple failures, The worst is the contractors poured thinset down the toilet blocking the pipes, (Still not fixed a month later), so that bathroom can not be used. I would NEVER purchase a home from Pulte again!

Poor Work Quality, Cannot Trust Them

For the price I paid for my brand new Pulte home, I could have bought a used house and still do the fixes that I'm doing on this one. Poor work/finish quality, even after the walk through they missed to fixed stuff (holes on walls, cracked door frames, very bad painted doors. "Construction Managers", and i put them on quote because they are more of Project Managers, they just coordinate for other vendors to do stuff, and they don't even verify the quality or the completeness of the job. Would never build with Pulte again

The only bright spot was Tim the construction manager. He was fantastic to work with and a real professional. The subs used in our development were the worst I have seen. (This is our 3rd build - plus one rebuild after hurricanes. Paint on the floors, walls not level and/or straight, paver contractor was horrible, electrical problems throughout the house and more. I would never build with them again, nor would I recommend Pulte or their sister companies to anyone.

Final product was not in good shape. Entire countertop has to be replaced due to chips and wrong cutouts around cabinets. New HVAC installed in the wrong place, TWICE. One HVAC sounds like it is blowing up when it starts and stops. Upgraded ceiling fan in family room installed 15 feet in the air with pull chains. Seriously? Pulte mortgage continued to hound us for documents when we hadn't even sold both our homes. Work order placed for 10 various items on Oct 3rd. Have reached out countless times with no response. We love the house location and design. The problem we have with Pulte is that it is the most unethical company I have ever done business with. If we brought up any issues during construction we were always told that is the way it's supposed to be. We were lied to repeatedly during the construction process. If you truly cared about my opinion I believe you should have listened during the construction process.
