Rushed to sell the house with broken window and missing features

Builders were in a rush to sell the house. There was a broken window which they were aware of however did not fix. In addition contract had a ring door bell included. They refused to push the closing date regardless of these features not being present. It has been 2 months post closing and both things have not been fixed. Have reached out to them many times however it still has not been addressed. Definitely a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone

This is our first new home purchase and we were so excited for this journey! We left our earnest deposit in December of 2022 and were told that we should be able to move in by July. We were skeptical but hopeful. We went to the showroom to pick out our carpet and kitchen etc and low and behold they wanted to charge for everything! seles rep was GREAT, the tour of the neighbohood really nice too, the visit to the desing center was very nice and easy however once they started actually building it all went to crap project manger was terrible, his ownership of mistakes and poor workmanship was close to not existent! zero attention to detail - multiple closing reschedules, poor attitude and responsivenes to issues, aweful expreince it seemed like he was working for the tradesmen as if they were paying him and i wasnt the customer whose oppinion and work he should be taking into consoderation....

Poor workmanship, good sales team

Alot of workmanship issues with the home itself and lack of quality assurance oversight from toilet leaking to refrigerator not working and out of warranty issues, mismatched front door lock and key not working, dishwasher not working, windows not opening. After hours even the emergency warranty line no one will answer the phone, Ive had to go through the sales staff to get things done at times which seems more responsive than the construction manager. Very disapointed in the quality of construction and lack of responsiveness to construction defects.

Lots of pertinent information and decisions were left out of our sales presentations-we always felt "rushed". Then, it was pulling teeth to get appointment at the design center. We were surprised by the number of restrictions, like rectangular sinks, that were not oven offered options. We wanted an extra window, and even offered to pay double, but we were told no, with no explanation why. Lots of things like this made us skeptical even bit of the way. A list of repairs a mile long due to terrible workmanship. But why would they care they got their money. If you think you paid for non damaged doors , trim, windows, tile, you would wrong. They have ZERO intention of replacing anything damaged during the build. They will tell you , "we will patch it". Sorry I paid for new I WANT NEW. A lot of the angle cuts on boards in the roof structure were very poor. A lot of drywall screws were sunk to deep. They don’t tie all the corners together structurally resulting in cracks in more than 3/4 of the corners. Doors not hung properly allowing for visibility from outside a room.Defective patio door that they didn’t want to deal and passed it on to warranty which still hasn’t been fixed. My daughter couldn't move into her bedroom for 2-1/2 weeks after closing because of a ceiling repair that lacked any sort of management. That will be her lifelong memory when thinking of moving into a brand new home. Celebration punchlist items still outstanding after two months.

Our salesperson attended to our every need and is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Our home inspector said the build quality was well below what he expected from a Pulte home. After noting the many build and finish issues that needed addressing a week before closing, Pulte did nothing for the first 4 days until I sent them an email saying that I could not close on the house in its present state. Great Floor Plan, Lack of Quality Workmanship

Location and floor plan were the draw for our Pulte home purchase. After we put money down on the lot we heard throughout the design process they are a production builder. That is for sure. From limited design selections if you do not want gray to the half bath fan that never shuts off to a light switch placed in the middle of a wall forcing you to stretch to turn on, thoughtful living was not executed. Overall we can walk through our home which is expensive and see details that do not match the price we paid.

Craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. The Pulte closing team do not communicate with their own project managers or homeowners. Lived here for two months and my cabinets are not finished, missing slider door screen, unable to open windows because all the screens sag, hole in the ceiling, cracks in the stucco, grout needs to be finished, unable to plug in dryer because the drywall was over the outlet, etc. when we brought this to Pultes attention we were told to go through warranty! What?! This isn’t a warranty issue things are missing and never even were completed!
