There were so many issues after we moved in. We still have some and most importantly our upstairs usually get warmer as compare to our ground floor. Cannot figure out what going on with heater issue though they say it’s fine.Not expected so many issues will be facing after moving to a brand new home. Also we are not satisfied with the quality of materials used ( especially bathroom ) and workmanship ( exterior and interior issues).

The overall experience I got from Pulte were not good. Sales representative were fine with all my questions and requests. But when it gets to see the quality of work and material you get from Pulte not as what they advertising. I have found many things that are not worked as professional. They are not responsive to the issues I found around the house and reporting them. Overall I was expecting to get good quality of build and material when I am paying a good money for it.

The lack of communications and information. Repeated requests for updates and issue resolution went unaddressed for days or weeks.

The communications and differences between sales, construction management and post delivery support are significant. The sales rep was very responsive and great to deal with. Construction management was unresponsive and avoided taking ownership of issue resolution. Post delivery support is responsive and working to address open issues.

A very trying process to get the end result (which is good, but not sure it was worth the struggle)

Pulte Homes in 2021 has had great demand in the area of Hopkinton, MA, hence the bidding process went to a whole new level. We ended up paying a premium for that, and had barely any time to go over our options for upgrades. The Upgrades were insanely priced not at all worth the money they quoted. The rude and arrogant sales agents at Legacy Farms didn't make it any easier. Up until the last min we were going through so much stress of not getting the correct or enough information, which in hindsight wasn't worth it. We still have outstanding issues for our home, but no idea when they will get ...

Poor workmanship

Poor job of painting throughout entire unit. Some walls look as if the paint brush was to dry. Kitchen cabinets as well as some closet doors have some spots, scratches, small cracks, and uneven paint finish. Was not told that top window does not tilt in to wash. How can we wash them especially if it it’s difficult to take screen out. One of the planks on wooden floor is lifting So very disappointed, thought that Poulte had a reputation as a fine builder that is why we bought looks as if that is not the case at least with our unit. Our site manager promose get things done nothing done. Most of houseing numbers W missing.Call something to fix take weeks to fix it.Big pormises no excutions. Customers are furestrated, Front desk lady Gina is very good.

Very sloppy

Craftsmanship was very sloppy. Examples include window frames that are not straight, painted walls have spots where paint is missing, paint on carpet, flooring has spots that are not sealed to concrete, blobs of grout on shower floor and garage floor, missing door stops.

Didn’t receive promised top quality work!!

Our wood floor had three nicks/dents in it. Looks like someone dropped something and put a nick in the wood. We also have splits going down the wood planks. We have, what I believe to be Caulk or some other film all over our tiles on the floor and wall in both bathrooms and on front door. The tile work in the laundry room is done horrible and doesn’t go flush to the wall. Waiting to see if there is proper drainage under our washer and dryer since they weren’t properly installed. Quality Build Issues and Nonresponsiveness

This is our third new home build and the worst. Pulte is building too many homes too fast. Supply chain issues and worker shortage has led to many build quality issues and subpar work by their subcontractors. Field Manager does not keep promises that were made for items to be fixed so that we would close on home. We have had build quality issues throughout and it has been many months since we closed with nothing being addressed.

The electricity in the garage does not work, the water heater does not work, there are no mosquito nets on the windows. the doors are made of paper, the walls of cardboard. Beautiful homes, but poor customer experience and sloppy worksmanship

Overall we love our home because it’s our home but the buying process with Pulte was painful, stressful and not pleasant. There were many times we wondered if we made the right decision. The contractors are just sloppy with their work and the sales people are completely untrustworthy. If the customer experience was better, they’d really be at the top of the game because the home designs are beautiful. Purchase with caution and just know what you’re getting into.

There were numerous discrepancies with our home that were addressed during the final walk through that have yet to be fixed. Other issues continued to be found even after moving in. For example, lights in the kitchen do not turn on as well as the closet lights on the second floor. Overall, if we had to do it all over again we would have not chosen Pulte at all

Many items were left incomplete, even though promised, the week of closing and remain that way a month later. We should have held out and made Pulte live up to their end of the contract.

Field manager over-promised and under-delivered so many times

Would not do it over again given the chance and I think that's about sums up how I feel about the process and our new home with Pulte. We were made to feel bad when we brought up issues. We were treated as if we were wrong in many instances. Just terrible customer service for the money we paid.

This is the worst home buying experience I've ever had. Once we signed the contract, all communication stopped. No updates, no information on when the build would start, nothing. Once we moved in, we hired an independent inspector look at the house. He found issues with the roof, HVAC, and some other minor things. The roof is yet to be repaired. HVAC came out and worked an entire morning re-wiring the A/C unit and thermostats. A/C wasn't even connected. We had no heat, no A/C. The build of The home seemed okay when we walked through it, but the actual finishing of the home was terrible. The painting was atrocious and the house was left a mess. Grout work and tile was done poorly. Front door threshold brick doesn’t come up to meet the actual threshold and needs to be redone. Crumbled cement corners.
