For the price I paid I expected better quality and polish to the workmanship. So many cosmetic flaws and oversights. Moulding and trim are beat up. Walls have varying degrees of texture when they should be smooth. Different paint colors used on a wall. So many things that are disappointing to continue to discover. Bad experience with construction managers, they are not trustworthy

I found a lot of issues after I signed up, I am paying for a new product, and I found out that the backyard door and garage door have a lot of issues, which I requested a replacement, it looks like those construction managers want to save money for their company, also they ignored me many times when I asked for any repair. I don't recommend to build with pulte homes honestly.

Sales and Construction

When we purchased we made it very clear to Sales contact that we can't move before Feb 25 and for sure in 2024. Sales contact was very confident that house won't be complete in 2024 and it takes 8-12 months . We have written communication also Pulte pushed us to close in Dec 2024 citing binding contract . However , to close in Dec Pulte even didn't install the water meter And it took almost 20 days after closing to get Water connection and trash services started . Highly disappointed with Pulte

I moved few months ago and I have had several issues with the quality of workmanship and customer service of Pulte. They are nice houses from outside but after moving in you will realize the quality of their work is horrible. We had work through with the builder who promised to fix the issues found. Sounds like a nice guy but nothing gets done. The vinyl flooring has a lot of bubbles, had issues with electrical outlets not working and some missing in living room, a lot of cracks outside the house some were repaired but no painting done. Dave with warranty department is unresponsive and lacks organization and communications skills. Not sure how or why he allowed to work in this field.

Shoddy craftsmanship, zero warranty service afterwards

Entire home appears to have been finished as quickly as possible, with countless interior areas overlooked. Required tons of manual cleanup and touchup afterwards, as Pulte is essentially impossible to get ahold of after closing. Even if you get in touch with them (after several repeated emails), they become unresponsive again and do not address any issues. The other many negative reviews on this site are true. Drywall work was far from perfect, with plenty of visible seams and poorly covered-up mistakes. Windows were scratched and cracked. Cabinets had countless dents and holes. Doors ...

Our neighborhood has experienced so many issues. The only thing I can say good is location - close to everything. Everything else has truly been a nightmare. I don’t know if I’ve met a neighbor who had a good building experience. It seems they hire workers who don’t care about the work they do and then they have no quality controls in place to make sure work is being done correctly. And these are expensive houses! I would never build with Pulte again after my experience.

Regret building a house with pulte .. STAY AWAY

We purchased the house for providing additional space for special needs kid and pulte team agreed to build the house with accessible bathroom on main floor. 1) It took 3 months for the sales person, an architect and designer to come up with plan and in the end bathroom had no overhead light. This is my 3rd Pulte Home, I should have learned my lesson. When we went to the design center to pick materials we we upsold on Quartz Countertops. We picked a design pattern that we liked, and went about our business. The contract clearly said QUARTZ , but when we moved into the home, and within one week the QUARTZ countertop chipped, and stained, we knew something was wrong. we contacted warranty, and during our research we found that they installed a product called Silestone from Consantino. We had a horrible experience with Pulte. They tried to make us close when the house was nowhere near being complete. Their quality of workmanship is horrible and subpar. We’ve had so many issues in the house. We honestly would probably never build with Pulte again and this is $1 million house. I can imagine what they do for less expensive homes.

Would never build with Pulte again!!

The number of problems that we have had in our home have been too many to count. Not only do we have some rather large problems, such as cabinets being gouged, doorbell never working, gas leaking from fireplace, etc, but getting these issues fixed seems to be nearly impossible.

At the beginning of the build everyone was OK. Once we signed and moved in we have had very bad response for issues in the home.

Make sure you inspect every aspect of your home build. We found numerous things wrong ( including beer cans in our walls). We found out that the flooring company Pulte uses has a D- rating. Once you sign the walk through papers you will not have much luck getting things repaired in a timely manner.

Lashay who was very helpful with the move in and sales. Once we moved in, our experience went completely downhill. Our project manager, Tyler, was not helpful and not willing to fix things that were found even the first week of moving in. Really not happy with the awful conditions of the front and the back yards of my new build house since we closed in March . We still don’t have any sods in front and any seeds in the back, landscaping never got done for 2 months since we closed. One word to say about pulte is “Worst”. Right from the beginning of home contract signing nothing went according to the plan. Delivery date got pushed 4 times without any prior notice. I was literally homeless for almost 23 days staying in hotels and friends place due to Pultes last minute date push. No compensation was provided with all these issues. Buyer beware prior to close. Workmanship is cheap and they say they will fix it before close and they don’t. They say submit work request and nobody responds back. I was give Michael Suich number and you can’t leave a voicemail and he doesn’t return emails. Not satisfied at all. Buy anywhere else but a pulte home. I never had issues when I bought my house with Mattamy.

The house has many issues. We contacted the builder, but no response. We brought the couple of houses from other builders. They were somehow good to bearable. The Pulte is the worst and not following through the issues. I am very dissatisfied. I will never recommend Pulte to get the dream house.

During the closing process many issues that came up during multiple inspections were not addressed and we will have to deal with them moving forward with warranty even though the items were inspected in advance, construction manager was asked to make corrections and he agreed it would be completed before closing.
