Big lot... but quality of house is low.

This is our 2nd home that we purchased from a builder. The first one was from brookfield, and had ZERO issues with them. And they where way more modern with all the minor things in the home, white cabinets weren’t upgrades... they where included, the minor accents and door knobs where way more modern then the ones pulte has to offer. There are sooooo many obvious problems with pulte home, we moved in and right away noticed the craftsmanship and detail to work is wayyyyy off. They cut a lot of corners and nobody from pulte was overseeing the contracted work that they hired to build our home. ...

Be prepared for the fact that your home will be nowhere near done when they say it will be. Be sure the house is complete before funding or you will have a fight to get it fixed.

Our house was not built very well. Our ceilings look awful. The house is built cheap and the quality looks nothing like the model. The workers don’t show up when they’re supposed to make repairs and they don’t do a good job on the repairs. We have broken baseboards that no one has fixed our driveway concrete is sloppy and doesn’t look good. I would not recommend pulte to anyone

Due to the poor quality of workmanship, the other measures also followed suit. A good neighborhood with nice sized lots and house plans. However, not good value for the cost of the home. We expected impeccable workmanship but were constantly disappointed even after repairs were done. You cannot rely on anyone doing their job effectively. You must always follow up behind everyone to ensure things are done correctly. Considering we have no clue about construction, it was very inconvenient not to mention aggrevating. Would not recommend them as a builder.

Builder charges >2500.00 USD to pain your home 1 wall color and 1 white ceiling paint. They use Sherwin Williams CHB paint on the walls including bathrooms. This paint does not wear well and is NOT recommended by Sherwin Williams as a durable wall paint. CHB was also used on the bathroom walls with no anti-microbial protection. If it gets wet it stains. Garage is not finished and assumed the buyer will spend another ~2K out of pocket to finish drywall and paint. A deadbolt lock is not included for the front door. Hardwood floor and stair railings are considerably marked up Carpets ...

Looks like my three year old caulked and painted the exterior. It was painted under 30 F and is peeling and cracked. It was noted during closing in April and still not fixed. Nail pops are expected but not to this degree.

I feel this build was rushed to get finished before the end of the year even though we purchased in May. Build didn’t get started for a couple of months and even though we purchased prior to 2 other lots (weeks/month) ours was the last one to get started. Multiple issues left unresolved and found poor displays of workmanship while living in the house. Some examples are: -various/different hardware used for hooks on boot bench (I don’t understand why it wasn’t uniform) -2 hooks from boot bench had stripped screws and fell off within the first month - a handle on a cabinet drawer broke in ...

In the beginning our experience was much more positive. Some of the employees really seem to care but the end result is sloppy trade work and lack of responsiveness to seeing issues to completion. AT best Pulte needs to add 4-6 to it's build time. Trades often do not show and many do such a poor jib it's amazing that they continue to hire them. I think they underestimate their buyers and often patch these houses together. Issues are addressed but not acted on. Trying to get the punch list completed requires endless phone calls and extreme frustration. The GC is great but it seems that his ...

Here’s our story of what we are still dealing with. Anyhow, 3 days before our final Walk through I decided to come by the house to do a walk through by myself. The night before we have some rain, but I was still very surprised when I walked in to see water leaking from my downstairs bathroom into the front door foyer. Obviously I called my super and he got on it right away. We were told the cleaning and remediation process would take about 9 days. To say this was sloppy work would be a compliment. There was no attention paid to the construction of this home throughout the process. We pointed out easily half a dozen major construction mistakes (incorrect materials used, bathrooms being placed in wrong places, open holes left in the roof) and have a list of over 50 items that need to be addressed, nearly half of which were raised prior to closing. One of the field managers (now removed) openly admitted that no one was supervising construction for a period of several weeks while he was gone, so the sub contractors literally did whatever ...

We built a new home in the Brookfield subdivision and seeing leaks in the basement from day 1. My basement floor stays wet even after running dehumidifier continuously and my insulation on two sides is completely wet! I reported this issue multiple times thru their warranty portal but they have not done anything regarding this issue. We were told our house would have a door from the garage to the back door. It does not. When we asked they stated it was mark off of the plans we signed. Yes marked off AFTER we signed them. They have yet to really attempt to fix this. The workmanship in the house is lacking. There are foot prints in my driveway and metel rhubarb is showing through. They laid my drive way very inefficiently. We cant even get into the third car garage without driving over the sprinker that they set right at that corner. The other houses on the block have a much different angle for their drive way.

Builder did a terrible job then showed up at my house everyday asking me to give him a 9-10 rating. When sod was put down the crew put sod over a bunch of garbage after I told the builder to make sure the garbage was picked up. Door frames in the house are not flush, lots of pencil makes on the walls where they circled nail spots to fix but never fixed them. What was supposed to be an amazing fresh start in a new community is suddenly feeling like "a cash grab" by the builders. First, the house looks amazing, feels amazing, but then when you really get moved in you start to notice the poor craftsmanship of the house. Our first week, fire alarms constantly going off. Our second week, vents falling off the wall because not properly secured on the drywall. Our third week, I noticed how badly of a job they did on our oak staircase. My ticket was opened up 2 months ago now. The first attempt to fix it, the person came to our house for 4-5 hours ...
