I would not recommend Pulte homes to anyone. I anticipated the quality and craftsmanship to be below average, but Pulte went even below that. I have a strong background in construction management so I expected that I'd have to fix some minor issues, but each day that we are in the home, I find another shortcut taken by the contractors that they use. I would recommend to any potential buyer, do extra research and find a builder who still has pride in their work and treats customers right, instead of just a number. These homes are too expensive to be built this poorly.

We bought our house about 2 months ago and had excellent experience from the sales person there. However we experienced major issues with the builder and construction team. We closed on a house that still had items that were unfinished and were promised that they would be taken care off the day that we would close. Not only those items were NOT done as promised, but it took us 2 month of calling and emailing the construction team daily/ weekly without any response. Had much difficulty getting any response from people. The workmanship was sub par, and from the mouth of the construction supervisor "Pulte will only do a much as the minimum required". I was not impressed.

My over all experience was very bad. My house construction was delayed by 4 months. I was rushed and forced to close the house before fixing all the issues that we identified. The construction manager tried to help us. But still there are several in resolved issues.

Had a horrible experience from the point of closing. Lot of pending issues on the closing day - no communication/update on when those pending issues will be addressed. I understand the supply chain issues, but even the communication on acknowledging open issues has been horrible. Only grace is the support team who at least are now communicating once in a while when the update comes. If I new my brand new home would have so many issues and pulte refuses to accept there mistakes and correct them. We are blamed for poor building and workmanship and they call it cosmetic. My house had A LOT OF. Unfinished/ lose / scratch / parts the first day one of the towel hanger on the master bathroom come part and I was noticeable that the screws was loose and several other issues I highly doubt I will NOT purchase another home from Pulty .

I have had major issues such as , the main drain water line broken in two places, second floor hallway sinking in, burnt out light fixtures, nails sticking through the carpet . Sadly enough I’m stuck here. Kitchen cabinets are of poor quality, although they look nice.

The issue is with your subcontractors. The warranty people are great, the lady who sold the house and the project manager were excellent. but your plumbing people since we moved, are having issues. one of the bills I received from the plumbing was rude. I knew I had to pay it because that problem was not his fault at that time, but the bill stated that "he wasted his time finding a leak) ( 3 hours ). then after that other issues appeared that are plumbing. but today is May 6 and we still dealing with them.

Overall not a pleasant buying experience. Lack of communication and transparency. Sales and Mortgage teams are completely disconnected. No point in going with Pulte Mortgage if there is no proper ownership and communication. Delays in construction timelines not communicated until we ask for it. Very poor sales experience. Lost all happiness of moving to new homes with hard sales process. I would expect better transparency, flexibility and talk to customer to create positive experience in the current market conditions.

Great House on the Inside. Builder Misled Buyers About Landscaping

When I signed my Purchase Agreement for my townhouse, I signed a document that stated Included Features and listed under Exterior it stated that I would receive a “Fully Sodded, Irrigated, Landscaped Yard.” Instead when they installed landscaping half of the front yard contained mulch with plants and the other half and the boulevard was filled in with rocks. When myself and the other neighbors reached out to Pulte regarding this issue, they said the document meant that they put the “hardscape” down so we didn’t have to sod when we closed.
