The sales team gave us an awful experience especially Trenton and Jacque. They were manipulative and constantly lying about the home building process, incentives and much more. The building team we worked with was great and and saved the experience. There are some issues with the house that still haven’t been corrected. Thanks.

They do not comply with the established times, they finished the house after 7 months after the established date and the finishes were very bad. We were very disappointed.

Worst sales consultants I have ever worked with. Total less you get you locked into a contract.

Worst sales consultants to begin with. Construction manager is never available for questions. The in answer he had S is that a host is built by humans so it will have issues and defects and will never be perfect. This is his standard answer to all the lousy workmanship on the house. Absolutely poor quality build.

I will never have a house built again

When you get a contract on a house and the builder says oh we will have it done in 6 months, don't believe them. We walked in our interest rate with the understanding the house would be good and 6 months, 6 months came and went and a house wasn't built and the contract on the house expired. Then we were told by faulty if we wanted the house we would have to do a new contract at an even higher interest rate. This higher interest rate is going to cost us over $100,000 over our 30-year mortgage, because Pulte was unable to get the house built in time. They have offered us incentives, such as ...

1. We arranged the spectrum installation one week after the closing but no signal at all for the house. Spectrum came four times then finally installed it after the guests checked in! The owner requested the bulk account with Spectrum on 11/18/2022. Due to the builder updating the information delay, the Spectrum bill’s amount is not for a bulk account. After tons of phone calls and emails, the issue still hasn’t been resolved for months. 2. The utility shut down on 11/17/2023, one day after the closing without any notifications. I had a terrible experience dealing with Pulte. I got the run around for months about a drainage issue in my backyard, it was so bad you couldn’t literally put a canoe in the water. Pulte representatives didn’t want to spend the 2,000 dollars to have French drains put in to fix the issue. Somehow they were able to look at us with a straight face and say there was no issue. Most disappointing new construction home purchase to date!

The sales agent was difficult to work with. He was inexperienced and often misleading especially regarding the home taxes and bond obligations . The builders financing process was a complete cluster and anything but a process. The construction team failed to complete almost the entire punch list that was provided weeks in advance of close with items remaining to date, months after close.

I wouldn't recommend Pulte unless you have an attorney on retainer that can essentially hold your hand through the entire process. From sales to walk through, to follow up issues post sale they were terrible. The folks who helped sign were great including Teri who set herself apart from the rest of the company.

Worst homebuying experience. Stay away from Pulte.

House quality and workmanship is excellent but several major unresolved issues at closing that were not addressed at all and instead passed around to the warranty department. Warranty department is overwhelmed with the volume of issues and goes completely unresponsive for weeks at a time. Having to requesting repairs and follow up countless times is incredibly frustrating, especially when you should never had to deal with in first place. Lack of communication by builder of progress from contract signing to close. Builder was unresponsive to issues pointed out by homeowner during review processes. At the time of final walkthru, the home was not move-in ready and there were many issues identified by homeowner and recognized by builder. Quality of workmanship is very poor, sloppy, and missing many items from the contract/plans by builder and contractors hired by builder. Only a few of the items missing were due to supply chain issues and were explained by builder to homeowner.

The communication with Pulte lacked the entire build. Dates kept changing and things weren’t correct from the start. Now dealing with warrantee nothing seems to be getting done I have multiple things that are broken or not correct I need to be fixed but nothing has happened yet

Terrible support from Pulte

The overall construction and build quality was decent. The responsiveness during closing period has been great. Just after the closing the customer support experience has been one of the worse. Even for issues as urgent as gas leak they customer experience manager continued to ignore emails snd and any form of communication for weeks. I wouldn’t spend the money to buy a Pulte home again given how bad the move in experience was.

Pulte has left me with empty promises. It is now been 40 days since I closed on my home and I still have blue tape in my house, crack in my bathtub, scratches on hardwood, kitchen cabinets not complete. I warn you to not close until the home is to your satisfaction.

I would tell future customers that pulte does not care about thier homebuyers and that they will continuously talk about thier reputation but have no interest in fulfilling that reputation. The house looks beautiful but truly should bot have been a pain for a home buyer to have to make so many complaints or work orders for what should be a walk in ready home.

Lack of professionalism

Awful customer service and bullying tactics to get to the closing table out of the blue which resulted in having to cancel a missionary trip at the last moment. The closing was then moved the day of the walk thru and cost me over 10k due to loss of trip. Not only apology was offered and in fact the bullying and threats up thru the inside legal council continued up until the evening before the eventual closing. The lack of leadership by anyone at Pulte is not only disappointing and the entire Pulte organization should be embarrassed how I was treated through this process.

Insufficient construction supervision during the build process

This is the fifth new home we have purchased in our lifetimes. This has been, and continues to be, the worst customer experience. Pulte appears to have made bottom line decisions which have severely impacted the quality of their home build and the outcome of the customer experience. They do not provide an adequate number of construction supervisors for the number of homes they are building. This is why we will not recommend Pulte to family or friends.

Delays, False Promises, and Poor Trades

The build process was less than ideal. We were delayed 6 months from our original completion date. I feel that the sales consultant and field manager promised a timeline they knew they wouldn’t complete. The FM - Seth Nisall - was very combative, which resulted in a blow up in the sales office. He was immediately removed from our build, and Brett became our new FM. Brett was the only positive Pulte attribute. Cannot do things correctly the first time.

Just about everything in this home was never done correctly the first time. Not to mention I’ve been in my home two months and warranty repairs need to be done. Also, it’s mind boggling that they don’t have a sense of quality control to ensure things are done correctly the first time or in a timely manner. Excuse after excuse has left me in an incomplete home for two months and warranty repairs for leaks and tnings falling apart!

I will say my loan consultant were great. My construction manager(Kelly) answer every call and email. After the move the customer service contact (Meghan )made sure all needed repairs were done.. the sales person in the front office (Robin) was very unresponsive to my concerns and questions . Incomplete House and Lack to no communication

Second house with Pulte. Totally different experience this time. We knew there would be delays due to worker shortage and supplies. Our house did get delayed and we were ok with with. There is a total lack of communication on everything. We closed with our house not being complete. We have a work order to finish the house. It has been 8 weeks and we have had a couple things done. But now Pulte has stopped with completing our house.
