We were rushed through the initial contract experience resulting in a very large construction mistake which was never addressed by them. Nor would they even discuss with us. "You signed all the papers" was what the sales rep said. You look at a small computer screen and make choices. Big mistake! Don't let them rush you. Take all the time needed to check every small detail. The house was not finished upon closing. It was filthy. Had construction materials laying around. The local process with Pulte (sales rep and building manager) was amazing. The Pulte Mortgage side in Colorado was terrible. They will make promises then stop communicating with you when you need them the most.

good quality homes, poor customer service through to closing

Clearly Pulte have poor communication within their organisation, which in my case of purchasing two properties, resulted in threats from Pulte about a potential closing delay due to issues created by Pulte and COVID-19. No respect for time zones, no customer focus, no apology from Pulte corporate. Overall a very stressful and dissatisfying process from when business sealed through to closing.

They subcontract everything and those contractors are awful. Examples: doors don't hang properly, hot water doesn't work, carpet laid on construction debris and missing flooring, sprinklers leak, heating doesn't reach bedrooms etc etc.

Trustworthiness is frequently surfacing due to how the Pulte Group responds to the homeowner once the property is turned over to the owner. This brief survey does not allow for specifics only general response(s). The longer that I own the home, the less Pulte is interested in my concerns, expectations or grievances. This is across the board from sales to repairs. Talking to other homeowners in my neighborhood, they have similar experiences also.

The mortgage and title process experience were great. I was able to get answers to questions in a timely matter. That is not true with customer service with their responsiveness to issues. Every call went to voicemail. I did not get call backs or in a timely manner. You will have some things like not having the air conditioning turned on, or the heat which is frustrating. Do not start the process with Pulte mortgage!!!

Sandi Nolan with Pulte mortgage has the worst sense of humor during such a stressful process. She played so many games and so many tasteless jokes and make the process even more stressful. She joked so much that I didn’t believe her when just 2 weeks before I was to close she told me unfortunately I couldn’t be financed. I was devastated but luckily I was able to pivot with a very trustworthy lender and still got in my home. Even though Pulte promises all these incentives if you go with their lender….i wouldn’t recommended by any means.

Endless delays to completion. With no clear explanation.

From the day I signed a contract (October 18, 2022) to day of closing (July 29, 2024). Endless, endless delays with very few explanations from Pulte unless I nagged. Meanwhile, because I was given estimated completion dates of almost every month in 2023 and 2024….. I finally sold my previous house…. And then the buyers of that house— a family with three small children— had to move THREE TIMES while this house was completed. I think the quality of my new house in Arborwood is fine. But the buying experience was a nightmare, truthfully.

Moved in about 2 months ago, still missing a shelf for my kitchen. Once you close, any outstanding issues take forever to get resolved. Had awful experience working with Zach from the sales team, doesn't know much and lies to get anything sold, and Ed who is quick to respond but doesn't ever get anything done. Wasn't a good experience, if I could redo it, I would have never bought this house.

Pulte Mortgage: I felt so bad and never expected this from Pulte, I felt ssooooo stressful while entire process, they keep me hold for 60 days, and never move forward keep telling me will get underwriter approval in next day. every single day keep hearing same answer and finally they rejected my loan. Pushed us to close with many things within the house still needing to be fixed. Major problem with master bathroom and won’t even be able to enjoy the shower for a month after closing. Unacceptable!

Misinformation, Changing information, Company is a fill in the box type of mentality. As long as they get a paper to check the box all is good. They have no concern to the relevance. Each department asks for the same documents and there is not one point of contact so an array of people with differing requirements

With pulte buying experience is very bad. If you trust sales agents you will loss lot. We need to fight , argue with them to get best. We sign a contract with other party on same day, same time and same model. Other party lot have more land nearly double and also cul-de-sec but finally there paid 12500$ less than us. Pulte decrease there price because there fight well and not trusted pulte mortgage. We didn't get any advantage by trusting pulte. We regret our decision. Delays & No Communication

When I signed my contract, I was given a closing date of 7 months from then. I wound up closing 1 year later. This caused my monthly mortgage payment to increase by $500 per month due to the rising interest rates. During that time, there was no communication. The house would sit for weeks at a time with nothing happening. There was also high turnover in the construction department. Duringthe 1 year, we had 4 different contruction managers. Our sales agent and her boss both left. I don’tvthink I would have built with Pilte had I known this is how the experience would be.

I bought home with Pulte. During construction process, every step in the construction process is delayed with many issues. Construction team is poorly responsive on the issues. They postponed the closing date 3times, and delivered the home in 1 year. Only good thing is Sales team and Warranty is is good and very responsive to issues
