Hello, I was one of the first people to close on a smart home at Pulte and Georgia Power’s Altus at the Quarter development. Unfortunately, the high hopes I had for my new home were dealt a severe blow due to my horrible experience with closing on my new home. As an initial matter, I was pressured to close on the sale of my former home early so that I could close on my Pulte home on time. Nice employees but poor company & quality. Still scraping paint from tiles, lots of flaws in paint job, drawers don’t close properly, electrical issues (lights in kitchen won’t work after 3.5 weeks of use), washer not functioning properly (part of deal)...the list goes on. I made a mistake purchasing a new home from PULTE. Love the neighborhood but with I had gone with a different builder.

The sales office needs a new rep, Craig’s lack of knowledge in real estate is only surpassed by his lack of professionalism. Brian, site manager, could care less about getting “punch list” things taken care of - basically if the structure hasn’t fully collapsed, you’re not getting much attention. The craftsmanship was clearly below average. Measurement markings left behind, unfinished wood work, were all just left to be after closing. Pulte has 10 yr old same designs. You will not have contact from any management outside of sales person and property manager. Bad documentation Bad design studio that not accessible as per customer needs. Explanation of packages is horrible. Pulte expects Customers need to come prepared from a horrible design doc and select options in 2 hrs. One good thing is their team on ground is helpful. Their contractors don't follow a standards Pulte mortgage and Pulte insurance is another horrible company that doesn't care about customer experience and value business.

UNRELIABLE! I hoped he would be different from all the others I've worked with, but sadly, he's not. I believed he would stand by his word, but he turned out to be just as dishonest as the salesman I was dealing with and his manager. It feels like everyone in this organization is colluding to mislead and deceive buyers, and it's truly disheartening.

Pulte dissapointed us. We have found so many things that needed to be fixed that is so terrible. Even my fridge was scratched and something didn’t look good inside, but they didn’t take responsibility for it. I needed to contact the appliance company so they can take care of it. We thought Pulte was a more quality builder but we were wrong. Even my garage was built with broken concrete blocks. I don’t recommend this builder. Good thing they repair everything that we had pointed to them.

We build our house in Franklin area, selling price of close to 1.5 million. Our experience since day 1 has been nothing less than but frustrating. Person (Walker) responsible of building our place knows nothing and will prefer to lie instead of saying I don't know and let me find out. I have so many examples which I can list down here like missing out air return, back porch coach light, wrong tiles, wrong color on cabinets etc... 10% of non-refundable earnest money required. Had to complain numerous times during the building process on many issues to get it fixed. Kept asking good feedback on the survey both construction and mortgage process. The construction manager stopped responding right after the survey was completed even though there are some items that still need to be fixed. I am not going to recommend Pulte homes to my friends.

I decided to sign an agreement with Pulte Homes to buy my new home after inspecting the home. I was fascinated by the offer of covering the closing cost which was said by the Sales consultant and I was informed i would only be paying the 5% down payment which was $19700. This was an exciting offer. The mortgage application came through and I was informed by pulte mortgage that I would be paying the closing cost which runs $5000+. Used cheap materials & unprofessional job. Very disappointed with Pulte builder. Builder used cheap labor which benefited them only but the buyer had to suffer and comprise with final product being horrible. Everything seemed done with rush just to get it done. I have seen other builder new homes and I am very disappointed with Pulte builder for not putting their buyers satisfaction as Priority.

So disappointed in our new home

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Pulte. From the sales process to our closing date and even beyond that, there have been issues on all levels. On our closing date we were still missing our oven and there were over 30 incomplete items that still needed to be fixed. Here we are almost 2 months after our closing and only a fraction of the issues have been fixed. We would never build with Pulte again.

I decided to go with all Pulte products (mortgage, insurance, title company) for my closing. I did this to make things “easier”. What I found is that all of the parties have poor communication that led to delays and inconveniences. Closing was pushed causing me to miss an international trip. The build quality continues to be an issue with no communication on when things will be resolved. Overall, I would not purchase a home from Pulte again.

Very difficult to get in touch with anyone during the building process. We also had very basic requests post close that are completely unwilling to work with us on. Honestly I feel like there is a bit of common sense missing on Pultes side throughout this process very frustrating.

The only positive thing I can say is our sales manager Sam was amazing! He answered all of our questions and more and was very knowledgeable! Besides that our build was littered with issues and now being in the home a few months still experiencing issues. The quality that we received compared to what we paid for is atrocious! I have a very long list of issues but I'll name off as many as I can. We closed without there being a smoke detector on the first floor that wasn't solved until weeks later. None of the cabinets or floors were covered during the build and are scratched and had paint on ...
