The bad experience started early. We bought in the very first month of releases, but when it came time to lock in the color of the home, our salesman told us our color choice was restricted because he allowed people who the month after us to pick first. Then they discarded all the rules on elevation and model locations, which means you have houses with the same elevation next to each other. The build process was ok, but the responsiveness of Pulte was substandard and there are still a lot of open issues month after closing. Don't recommend Pulte.

We experienced unmet promises. Unmet deadlines. The craftmanship was poor quality throughout home. Had leak within the first week. Asked them to please bleach the damaged wood from the leak, since it was a bathroom leak, they did not. Had to do it myself. Had sink hole in my front yard, again I had to fix it myself. Still waiting for them to fix it properly. A huge safety hazard. The mason stone fell off the front porch within a few weeks of moving in. SUPPORT SYSTEM : The sales agent Gisabel was not that helpful and very seldom reply to queries, which were always delayed and worsened after the closing period. The construction manager Finley did not do the proper walk-through during the initial and final inspections of the property. There were several issues identified within the house that were forwarded to her through the 'pick list'. That list is getting longer as the days pass by because of the slow response by Finley. Nightmare

It was a nightmare with Pulte. They never gave clear timelines. Huge mismanagement. No proper planning. Delays on everything. Now seeing at other friends houses from a different builder I see how bad Pulte’s work is.

We were rushed to close the house and it’s our fault that we agreed to Kirk and Kevin who are the construction manger and sales rep for Pulte here. Bricks weren’t clean, all muddy and dirty , HVAC system wasn’t operational, AC vent in one of the washroom was left open . Kitchen cabinets were installed crookedly, part of the Microwave Oven were left in installed , screws were not bolted to the oven . Elevation design is missing pieces to be attached. The Pulte sales team fails to admit and take responsibility for any wrong doings or mistakes that they've made. They will attempt to sweep their mistakes under the rug and fail to communicate their errors or find a solution. You will have to contact them many times in order to receive a response. However, Dustin, the construction manager, is great to work with! He spends quality time reviewing the construction process during each step of the home building process!

First, I believe this is a reputable builder nationally; however, my experience in San Antonio was awful. 1 out of 5 based on the following: The builder represented the house was ready. I sent my inspection crew as a result. The house in fact was nowhere near ready. A day later the builder wanted to close on the house and insisted on keeping the closing date, while ignoring the facts. It’s been issue, after issue with Pulte

After pointing out a load-bearing beam was left floating it took 3 months of constant asking for the contractor to actually fix the issue and only fixed it the day before they started hanging drywall. Then Pulte painted my house the wrong color and only fixed it after being pressed about it, and in the repainting process they got paint on everything what shouldn’t have paint on it and had to be constantly asked to come fix the parts they missed and they refused to replace/ fix some of the items they got paint on in the process. Very disappointed. Apparently, there are no true craftsmen working for Pulte only the cheapest laborers. There are too many issues to mention them all. The finish on the walls looks terrible. There are runs, clumps, and drips everywhere. There were several places that were marked for repair by our construction manager that the workers ignored. Never Buy A Pulte Home

Myself went through three different site managers in a nine month. Period there was no accountability of the work being done on my house. There was no quality control. There is still being worked on my house. Two months after I had moved in and constantly trades not showing up, who are scheduled to show up.

I find my self very saddened to even have to write this, however this build is one of three for my family and by far the worse experience I’ve had with Pulte Builders. There are so many issues with the home. Finishing is bad. Paint issue in so many places. Field manager rushed us to give him good rating at first but now we regret it. Cracked walls, cracks and damages in the floor and in so many places. It feels like Pulte just want to sell their home and don't care about the home quality. We are having very bad experience. We should have gone with lennar or taylor Morrison. Would not recommend pulty to anyone.

This was not a great experience. My first review was very in depth but it ‘drew business away’ but new home source wouldn’t post it because they are paid by the builders to host their information - just to be transparent. This was bad from start to finish it has been months since closing and many items are still not completed on our punch list. We do not have final occupancy from the village. A Disappointing Experience

There were a lot of issues with the new townhouse that we recently purchased from Pulte. There is a lot of unfinished work. When we report an issue in the construction, there is no response. The painting on the wall and windows are shabby. A deadbolt lock is forgotten to be installed, and another one can't be used as the latch and the hole are not aligned. And many more. When we report the issues on the Pulte website, no response. We bought this townhouse for location. In the future, recommend staying away from Pulte.

This experience has been absolutely terrible. The day that we closed on our house there was trash all over the front yard and brought the issue up to our project manager. The completion time was months out from what I was told which now I’m paying very high interest rate due to the builder delay . Electric is not correct , they also had the water heater running with no water causing the element to burn and we had no hot water ; the A/C apparently was installed incorrectly now has to be repaired possibly needing to open the ceiling - many other issues - too much to write and nothing comes from this anyway . My parents bought a pulte home on 2006, man did this builder go down the tubes. From my "closing" to current day this house has been a nightmare. Construction manager ian has tried his best but his team has failed him every step. Bad woring , wrong doors in the house , stuck sliding doors, missing sheet rock, 4 nails in my cars tires because of no clean up, glass in my foot! Recently the walk in closet shelf collapsed and fell on my fiancée! The list still goes on! The quality of this house is a joke! The standards this company has is little to none!

They gave me an unfinished house. After multiple follow-ups they send someone to finish up some paint work, and he leaves it half finished. The quality of such expensive houses is very questionable with mesh door not getting locked, and flimsy pull out drawers in the kitchen.
