We were completely dissatisfied with our experience. We went with Pulte because my parents had built with them years ago and had a phenomenal experience and we believe that the quality compared to other builders was better. Unforutnately, we had a completely opposite experience and probably will never build with Pulte again. The communication throughout the entire experience was terrible. There were many homes in the neighborhood started way after ours, that moved much more quickly than ours. We believe Pulte oversold and couldn't keep up with their projects. the terrible finishes , the baseboards, Doors, grout work. Every door frame where hit the tile, the house looks like it's 40 years old.

DO NOT close on house until ALL issues are taken care of, Once you are in, good luck getting anything fixed. The appointments that are made, NO body shows up. I guess we'll see pretty soon how the " Warranty" side picks up after 30 days. Their Web site where you go to put problems wouldn't take our pictures.Buyer beware

The realtor and the construction manager.

From the beginning, things started off bad, with the realtor refusing to allow us to have our own realtor; because she is the one who secured the deal. Realtor kept advising me to go month to month on my apartment lease; which cost me thousands of dollars. Realtor kept sending (3x) the wrong construction plans to the city so numerous delays. Construction Manager did everything half-heartedly. Only thing that stood out was the last site supervisor (Jason) who was very professional and nice person who listen. He was our 5th site supervisor but thank God he showed up at the last minute. A lot of the buildingerrors were made prior to him coming on

Home was supposed to be completed in March but lasted 7more months. The worst part is that homes that were recently signed took precedence because they paid more money. Unfortunately, for 6months, l was the supervisor since Pulte would not provide me with update and hardly worked on it. Even in some ocassion, l had to contact them about shaddy work and issues on the ongoing building. Do their homework care about the buyer I closed on a home that was 3/4 finished with promises that it would be taken care of and til today 6 weeks after closing they still are not completed they never return calls and they have poor service I wish I could sell back tomorrow

Poor workmanship and lack of quality control

While out site super is working to fix issues it has been an extremely slow, painful, and stressful process. It took 3 visits for our home to even get the correct attic insulation level. Tile work was absolutely terrible throughout and we requested a new crew from the get go but now a third visit is scheduled finally with a new crew to completely rip out and replace the entire wet bar backsplash. Our floors are one giant tripping hazard, and we requested this to be addressed at each stage, now we have had 3 areas “fixed” but now Pulte is paying for an ANSI “expert consultant” to come out and ...

There was 4 months delay. The quality of material is bad and it is badly built with seams, dents, defects everywhere. The HOA is also awful, not responding to your inquiries. Not worth the money at all!

There are multiple issues in the house. Sod was not laid properly and was not watered properly until closing because of which most of my sod is already dead in spite of regular watering. Issues that were identified during prewalk are yet to be fixed and many issues identified during prewalk were only fixed after closing.

Bad experience as a first time home buyer

I was forced to close without issues been taken care found before and during the celebration meeting. I was given letter of completion from Vice president of Pulte with the list of issues that will be completed by Aug 13th. Field manager stopped responding to calls/ emails right after giving me that letter and I am still running behind the customer care for getting my issues fixed. Had a very bad experience.

I am absolutely amazed, astonished even, at how poor the quality of the subcontractors’ work was. Sloppy painting, stained carpet, broken windows, malfunctioning oven, upside down doors, etc.

Pulte homes are not very certain on closing date and rush on it, so as buyer didnt had proper celebration and worst experience and fixing up cosmetic and couple of damage within home. As a new homer we have lot of question and nothing was properly answer and field manager chnages no often with not at all update to what happen at site. I would not recommend for improper response with sales and field manager here. Unsatisfied and keep getting lots of very very delayed response.

The customer service from this company is non-existent. From the top to the bottom they do not value their customer’s experience in the slightest. We had multiple issues with our foundation and basement during the building process caused by the field manager, and had to contact him first about it. Then we had to demand certain things take place to ensure they did not try to cut corners. The poor workmanship performed by Pulte sub-contractors

Before closing, there was a laundry list of issues that were promised to be fixed after closing. Some were small, others pretty big. The more minor issues I fixed myself or the supervisor had resolved. Without being petty, I will say the overall workmanship was poor. The biggest issue I reported was visible seems on the ceiling. House was rushed to close. Problems continue to pile up.

See list: -Roof in our office leaked due to defective shingles which led to trim damage. -Painting was rushed as whole walls/rooms need to be repainted. So many thing wrong with the house that still need to be fixed. Original it was the cut line of the toilet drain that forced the ceiling wall and floors to be replaced twice. Front porch with foot prints in the cement. A driveway that won’t be done until summer and yard to follow after that. Broken dates as to fixing these issues. Go with another lender

Do not go with the Pulte lender!!! They will make you jump through hurdles for the same rate another lender will offer you for free. We got our keys but we’re still sending them documentation. Watch everything in the build process. Take notes & stay on top of the construction manager to get stuff done!!

So many things to say! The hluse was not finished when we moved in. We were told that the final issue would be take care of in the next few days after the moved but almost 2 months later we still working on those issues. Next week they will replaced over 10 tiles... it has been a bad experience overall...
