The home had a ton of issues and the construction team has not been open and honest about fixing the lingering issues and had been punting them to Warranty instead of taking ownership.

New Home with poor quality work

We purchased our home in April which was supposed to be ready November-January. We we informed in July we would close in September. We did our walk through and noticed several things which we noted and were supposed to be fixed before closing. . We closed and moved in a week later. The house was left a mess. (we were told construction clean) Cabinets were chipped and covered with paint, the workers left chicken bones, nails, bottles and so much debris in our yard and front of house. No I would never recommend pulte to someone else. It was a horrible home buying experience and pulte still hasn't fixed things that were discussed during our final walk through.

We were lied to repeated times by employees at Pulte about the size and grading of our house. The quality of the house is an absolute disgrace, lack of consistency in the finishing even though the houses are the same model. We have to fight with Pulte to fix the issues we have had specially with the backyard and side yard. This was supposed to be our dream house but it has become our nightmare house. If there is zero star I’ll give zero for almost everything. Courteous and sweet when they want to sell it but no response when you have issues and in less then a month many issues.

Absolutely terrible. After spending 1 night in my house we had our first, but not last, major water issue. I haven't even slept in my house for weeks because of the 2nd major water incident in which you knowingly installed a broken dishwasher which leaked and leaked into my kitchen island causing mold. I have major regrets working with Pulte and wish I had just bought an older house or gone with Taylor Morrison. Pulte was horrible from start to finish. No communication. No honesty. No quality. Ignored several of our requests entirely. Messed up the few small changes we asked for. Delayed closing multiple times because the house wasn't done. Our inspector said it was one of the worst houses he'd ever seen. And that's not to mention the lack of landscaping or drainage. Nothing but regret for us.

First, problem was with your lender and I feel I was treated unfairly and scrutinized but the bigger issue was after I closed. I would never purchase another Pulte home due to our poor experience from start to present. We had a pleasant working experience with Wally and Kelly, however, the other individuals we’ve been in contact with haven’t cared about us or our needs to fix things and follow through. It’s been a horrendous experience that all of our friends and family are aware of and know to never buy a Pulte home. We now resent the experience so much and all that is still wrong with the home, we are not happy in it and want to sell.

Rushed house. Promised they would make it right. Have not fixed a single thing in over 90 days. Never should have signed for the house. Home owners shouldn't be pressured into signing papers on house until things are right. Pulte only seems to care about you until you close on your house, COVID is not an excuse. There are plenty of things to fix on the outside of the home.

Buying a home from Pulte has been a nightmare. Since the loan process in which the mortgage people where very rude and incompetent all the time to the builder with the completion of the home. Not only the list of things to fix before closing was not done by closing date as promised but it’s been more than a month and half since my closing and I am still fighting with them back and forth to get everything fixed and done. Cannot trust the quality of Pulte homes and the service

What i feel is there is no QC or oversight after the contractors working on different parts of the home and the owner is responsible to find out those in 1 hour of walk through. This should not be the case for brand new homes, the bath tub was damaged, sink had scratches, the cabinet doors are rattling, wood flooring is chipped and stripped, brand new garage door opener making more noise then my previous 20 year old house, the weather strip on the garage door opener is stripped. Purchase my home 43 days ago and i'm still waiting on maintenance issues to be completed. AT&T could not connect my internet because the holes they run the cables through are clogged up. Pulte has no urgency to fix issues once you have closed on your home. If things are not fixed or I am not contacted soon I will be making my 2nd BBB complaint. If I paid for a brand new home regardless the price I do not want to deal with issues right after closing.

I was the PM for essentially the entire project build. I was forced into the house saying if I didn’t close, I may not get the house for a while blaming COVID. The trades rushed to get the job complete and botched everything.
