Worst framing I’ve seen in years. Studs missing, no corner studs, single king studs around window openings holding up thousands of pounds of roof tile. Electrical wiring pulled with the sheathing pulled off of it. Wires taped together buried in the walls. Outlets covered resulting in excessive opening made in the drywall to locate them. Gas lines moved and only tested after I questioned them About it. Names constantly missed spelled in documents and even yelled at our lender on the phone because they thought it was a robo call - really your a business! I would never had boy this Property ...

Highly priced for a low quality home

My bathroom clogged within 2 days of move in. When I requested for checking that, I was informed that it was clogged due to use of toilet paper. My concern if you cannot use toilet paper in toilet what else can I use. Builder doesn’t show any responsibility in fixing the issues at all. Overly priced home. Builder charge differently for upgrades for each model making low end homes come out be expensive than it is worth. They miss the updates said over phone and blame customer that it was not informed to them. Doesn’t accept even some of minimal requests once the contract is signed. For ...

The sales office will mislead you. For example, I paid for pull out drawers in the lower kitchen cabinets. There are 3 cabinets. They only will put drawers in 2 of them - When I asked they said - Oh, that is the way we do it. We don't put them in the third one. I paid for soft closing cabinet doors. They didn't tell me that it was only SOME cabinets, not all. They painted the inside the wrong color and then wanted to repaint the entire inside after I moved in. Materials are cheap. the kitchen cabinets have gaps and drawers often come off the rails. The bathtub is a bad design. ...

seems like everyone is trying to get their bonus and hit their goals by rushing to close. After moving in, I realized there are excessive amount of repairs and fine tuning needed (very sloppy work). Spending few minutes in each room during walk thru is completely insufficient. That burden should not be placed on homeowner and it should be with the builder/field manager. Paint drips all over the floor and carpet, gaps and chips throughout the house, loose faucet/sink, etc..etc.. Seems like there are too many homes going up at same time and not enough quality control and not enough field ...

There is a culture of shoddy workman ship that has developed. Almost everyone who worked on our home had to come back to cleanup or redo something they did. Forget about the home warranty department. They don't respond. I will never buy from a National builder again.

While the salesperson (David) and Erin (Project Manager) were both terrific, the overall experience in building a Pulte home was anything but. They are the definition of a tract builder that slaps up the houses in record time...workmanship is atrocious. But, the fact that we were told just a few days before closing that our home did not appraise is sickening. We didn't even do many upgrades (like countertops, flooring, fixtures) because the Pulte offerings were so outdated...can't even imagine how much more under the appraised value the home would have been with these items added to the ...

Nails are poking through the siding. The gutters were installed improperly. My patio concrete was broken. My floors aren't level and need to be removed and replaced. My walls weren't sanded before being painted. There are zero smooth corners in the house. I have "orange peel" all over my walls and ceilings. My windows aren't hung level. There are very few 90 degree corners in my house. The trusses in my attic are covered in MOLD. My shower was installed with broken tiles and a shoddy repair was done, the entire shower needs to he ripped out and redone. My ducts werent attached to the vents ...

We were rushed to close on a house that was not completely finished. We ended up not moving into our home for two weeks after the purchase so Pulte could fix numerous issues that needed to be redone of finished. Even after that, it took multiple weeks to get other issues resolved. Eventually, we were sick and tired of Pulte not finishing things correctly or in a timely way and decided that any minor issues we still have will be done by us with our own contractors of our choosing.

I searched the web for reviews on Pulte before signing my contract and most were pretty bad reviews. Unfortunately for me, I moved forward with the purchase and here I am, adding to the bad reviews. I should have known better and I'll be kicking myself for a long time. Overall, the subcontractors performed subpar work and all their work went unsupervised by the Pulte field manager. The field manager told me during and after construction that he was too busy to supervise and quality control the subcontractors. That's great news for a new homeowner. (The cheapest subs Pulte can find are ...

The following transgressions have happened since moving into my home via the contractor next door: Pulte did nothing to stop theft of Water and Electricity. Came home to workers helping themselves to my water and power. This happened multiple days, had to call police to arrest behavior. Contractors working next door splashed stucco on my Vehicle and the windows of my home. They made a mudhole out of my grass on that side of the house. Washed their paint brushes between which also helped to kill grass. It remains to be seen if this issue will be resolved. I get to pick up trash daily from the ...

Upon purchasing my home I was told about several walk through processes that would happen to ensure my satisfaction with the house. None of those meetings have been accomplished, and when multiple issues arrived including drainage issues and flooding the company was not available to speak on important foundational issues. I was so excited to build with Pulte as we had purchased a model home from them three years ago. We had picked out the perfect lot and did over $100k in upgrades too! I had expected a few bumps in the road but not as many as we went through. To give you an idea we were supposed to close in December (we signed in June of 2018) and well we had about 5 closing dates and finally closed the end of June 2019. The quality of the home is poor and the craftsmanship is a joke. No one cares. It all went down hill after I went to look at the house and see that at the door of my walkout basement sat ...

This is the second home from Pulte we purchased because of the quality work based on the first one. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship and materials on this new house is so poor, we just can’t even compare to the first one or even some fixer uppers. Doors and door frames are refurbished with new paints over them but still can be seen visibility on the outside with dents and uneven surface. Most windows don’t seem new with serious scratches on the handle bars. Shower tub also with serious scratches. People not cleaning after themselves, which left paints in the kitchen sink and ...

We were very disappointed with Pulte in almost every step of the process. It started with the offer of incentives to use Pulte Mortgage which was not competitive and they changed their numbers on what our payment would be through an “honest” mistake. Needless to say we shopped around then and found much better rates/payment. Loan match guarantee? Promised- but couldn’t do. Work that was supposed to be finished prior to closing, was not. Spending hours of our time to get issues fixed. Not a positive experience.

This house is by far the worst quality build I have had in all my homes. We have safety issues in our yard that has not been correct after several requests. This is a common theme they do not follow through. Myself and other in our neighborhood agree that there is a lack of oversight on the subcontractors. The site supervisor do not roughly inspect the work completed. Our living room ceiling was not built according to plans and it is two feet lower. A bedroom closet was not built correctly so we lost closet space there. Our outside was not caulked or pained correctly. After one month in our ...

While the final product looks nice on the surface, my overall experience building with Pulte was frustrating and disappointing. From the beginning, key design elements were either poorly explained or not presented at all — including options like stair trim, siding choices with certain layouts not available and a natural gas line out back. I later found out these could have been included if I’d been properly informed during the design phase. The mortgage process through Pulte’s preferred lender was also a nightmare, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult build. Midway through ...

We were promised that our home would be completed between October and December 2024. Pulte was fully aware that we had to move by the end of the year—had we known this timeline wouldn’t be met, we would not have proceeded with the purchase. Despite this, we were first told the completion date would be pushed to January 2025, then later to April 2025.
