I am a widow with two children I am raising on my own. In order to lower my stress level, I chose to buy a new home thinking that I would have no worries. Since moving in 6 weeks ago, the basement has been torn up and replumbed, the water heater leaked, the furnace/thermostat needed replacement, the oven is leaking gas, front door needs to be repainted and 50% of the laminate flooring was improperly installed and will be torn up. I have gotten an unsatisfactory response from Pulte management. It seems as though the speed to finish the homes has greatly affected the quality.

We are not happy about our experience with Pulte. There are so many issues I don’t know where to begin. Pulte could not close on agreed closing date, fireplace wrong stone color, lawn irrigation has leaks and wrong placement of irrigation heads, no mailbox for 6 weeks, no internet for 5 weeks, huge drainage problem backyard, dishwasher didn’t work, no water to refrigerator, did not clean house very well, sloppy careless work on just about everything, etc., etc., etc.

I really liked it when I toured the model house. However, after I moved in and living here for about couple months now, I am very disappointed that how poorly its made and there are so many little things that have issues. For example, our kitchen island is not leveled correctly, so when there is water spilled, it falls down to the edge and dropped to the floor. I hear so many spots that making squeeze noises on the floor. Master bathroom mirror outlet becomes broken itself due to too much tightening the volts I guess. sloppy workmanship and not responsive

Pulte homes are built so quickly and with the cheapest materials. They sacrifice quality for the sake of completing the home to turnover quickly to satisfy shareholders. I have a full page list of items that need to be repaired, a stained kitchen sink, a broken drawer, paint on tiles, hinges, carpet, dead plants, etc. Scheduled the repairs with warrantee department but they never showed or call. Found out later that AG was on vacation. Suggest looking at every tile, molding, well everything. before closing or buy from another builder.

All I can say is that I would never recommend Pulte to anyone ever! There is dried plaster and junk under the carpet so we step on bumps all over the floor, painting and trim work is terrible inside and out.. I can go on and on!!

I have found the workmanship quality on Pulte Homes is terrible. I would never purchase a Pulte home again. Very unhappy with the quality of workmanship. We hear nothing but excuses as to why things are not done right.

Construction was of poor quality. They don't have accountability on any issues. They don't build consistent homes. Similar model homes have differences in the structures. Felt like waste of money buying from Pulte Homes.

I was promised by Dana that Pulte wanted my home perfect that’s why it took so long to finish. Let me tell you my house is far from perfect! On my final walk through with Brian and Dustin I, my son and granddaughter pointed out all the flaws and marked them with painters tape. They took no notes and kept nodding at the mistakes. Very cheap building quality, quick fix repairs, and a company that prides themselves on quality. Their advertised quality and the Pulte care experience was false. They care about covering up their mistakes quickly and quietly, they care about not taking accountability for major defects, and they also don’t care about using the homeowners time to conduct shotty repairs.

The building process was so stressful that I felt overlooked. I received no replies to my emails and had to follow up on every detail. Even after moving in, I'm still waiting for a response to the issues I've raised. The quality of the build is poor, and I've encountered nothing but lies. Pulte only seemed interested until the contract was signed. They're not a responsible builder. I cannot and will not recommend Pulte to anyone.

My experience has not been pleasant at all due to faulty plumbing in the wall of my master bathroom which created mold growth after leaking for an estimated 30 days before noticing. Zero stars. 1) My wife's foot was injured due to Pulte's poor workmanship and intentional neglect of a known safety hazard. They still deny it now. 2) They laid down straw and seed despite knowing that temperatures would drop below 32F, completely ignoring common sense. 3) There is water leakage and a strange cracking sound behind the wall, which Pulte insists is normal. 4) I have tons of other issues I could go on and on about.

I would highly recommend not to buy with Pulte homes They use cheap quality materials and worst behavioral construction team. Once you close the home then you will be screwed up. Don’t trust sales and construction team words at any stage until you satisfy DON’T close the home.

While I like the home overall, the quality that Pulte keeps telling you about does not exist. Over 30 days post close and our punch list still has not been addressed. The end product is not satisfactory and we still have multiple issues with the home. The bandaids are already falling off. The cabinets are cheap. The only upgrades I would recommend are foundational with extended rooms otherwise I would recommend minimal upgrades and do it yourself post close. 1) The quality of the work is really worst The garage floor is full of cracks while handing over The back yard is having only uneven stones which renders the backyard to unusable until we spend more money on it. The counter top was provided without polishing The quality of the carpet work was worst and there are of places where the carpet is not even covered over the concrete floor There are cracks on the floor in front of the garage and the construction manager is simply ignoring them when raised to fix it.
