I would have answered the 15 question build questions completely differently after I moved in if I had uncovered all the problems with my house. The ONLY thing that went well was the title company for this all cash purchase. My punch list is over 20 items long and no one provides updates on anything. The completely wrong counter/sink/mirror/light bar configuration was installed in my master bath. The data panel/closet in the garage has an electrical outlet that is not connect to anything and the other bathroom has a light fixture was not installed and is sitting on the toilet tank. Don’t buy a Pulte home, that’s what I would say to other buyers. Though we worked with some good people, the company as a whole is terrible. They know you can’t afford to walk because of the now much higher prices, and they clearly take advantage of that. Have an issue, tough? We’ll get to it when we get to it. What can I not say? Here's a list of everything that went wrong: 1. No communication at all 2. Never told me during the whole process why my home was really delayed for almost 6 months! Interest rates went up, never locked in a rate early because I was told that it would finish next month, next month, next month. and soon December 2021 became May 2022. Was a nightmare with the realtor and the constructor , both doesnot have responsability, care, worst treatment we can imagine, I know the is not a Pulte im blaming for the constuction side and realtor, but you have to select better who will works for your company, you have a name that you have take care , The house was delivered with a lot of things to need to be fix , they did not clenned after construction , the material I cant choose the color or the floor. All started well with the sales but after construction started seems to be when it started to fall apart. When I can tell there are glaring issues w/the quality of work (I don’t have a construction background) & bring it to their attention & it’s repeatedly ignored or we are told it’s fixed when clearly it isn’t we should have known it wouldn’t get better. This was the worse experience we ever had building a home. We have built 3 other homes in the Charleston area and this was awful right from the mortgage company on. The workmanship is horrendous!!! They rushed building our home and right from the sod, bushes and trees on into the house it is cheap, poorly done, and still not completed after 2 months of our living here!! Even the appliances were wrong! I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone and would discourage anyone from building with Pulte.I

When I started the process and throughout, working with Alex our salesperson was how you would expect from a National builder. He has been the only pleasant part of this experience. Our salesperson tried but could not handle the tasks of a construction manager and we closed on a home that was subpar at most. We were promised Tony our customer service rep would help us rectify the items not corrected. This has been the worst experience in the entire process. I regret why I signed the closure documents, trusting the people they would resolve later on. After closing Pulte has become the next best thing to a ghost

Following closing Pulte does not respond to calls and emails for problems found in the home within 2 months post move in…basement water damage, buckling vinyl plank flooring, external GFCI not working preventing proper use of irrigation system controls, automatic garage door stopped working, backordered thermostats. These are just a few of the items.

Quality of construction is fair at best. Absolutely no follow up after closing on punch list items. Grading of backyard has caused flooding and all parties are pointing at each other. Two month old roof is leaking. Stay away.

The quality of the material is so cheap, the finishing and paint are not professional at all, and before the closing, if you point to them that there is something wrong they will fix it immediately but after the closing, they take forever. when you make a request for something that needs to be fixed they might not answer unit you follow up with them. I chose to buy a new home so I can set and relax since everything should be new, but this is so much headque. I'm spending my day calling and sending an email and waiting for people to come to fix it, and only had the home for 2 months.

If you're looking for a builder that will do just enough to get by, then Pulte is your builder. Throughout the sales process, they tell you about their quality promise and all the steps they'll take to ensure a quality build. Then at each and every step of the way, they'll fail to even come close. We've been in our home for 6 weeks now. Very low-quality materials are used. The price is so high as compared to other houses which makes us not to refer any other customers to Pulte Homes to buy. The salesperson is not cooperative as we aspect.

Everything about Pulte is bad, we had literally several issues after closing, they threatened us to close even with these issues identified during orientation. Very bad people, they are selling junk for 400-500k. Beware !!!
