Understanding that life as we know it took a major turn the day we received our keys to our new home (March 17, 2020). I wish the frustrations with of that timeframe were all that we experienced, unfortunately, they are not. Our walk-thru (key day) was less than stellar. They were still putting up our block wall, pouring the bedroom stoop, planting trees and shrubs, pouring the rocks and putting in the gate. The cleaning people went to the wrong house (as told to us). We left to allow them to do some work - they did not. I cleaned our new home from the dirt of construction. Dirt e v e r y w h e r e. I still have glue or silicone in my sinks. Plaster in the shower head, shower head pointed to ceiling. Paint on the tile, unfinished work throughout. To say it has been disappointing is well beyond an understatement. We believe we have been placed into a situation that of 'make us find it' or it isn't a problem. We are not builders nor are we versed in all things that should be finished to a specific code. We provided our 30 day warranty to Pulte on April 20, 2020. I worry greatly at what it is that we HAVEN'T seen that will be our burden to fix that is not on that list. Didn't anyone do some sort of quality walk-thru? We have yet to hear from the Warranty Center either (aside from the email acknowledgement). During the building phase we noticed open beer containers that we eventually shared when asked to provide feedback - never in my wildest dream would I have expected the workmanship and quality to be this poor. Extra holes in walls, glue/silicone in sinks, paint on tile, doors that don't close (or you can see light through them). There is a film I cannot clean off my tile, no matter how hard we try. Loose cabinets, dents and dings in cabinets (revealing the wood). Dead plants in the front yard (advised Pulte at time of planting) - now the HOA is coming after us for the lack of attention to detail. And still we wait. ... More

I am pleased with the house I had built. Pulte gave a lot of great incentives to use them as a builder. I was overall happy with the process, but there was a lack of communication during the middle of the building process. I feel like they rushed to get my house built by a certain pre-determined date. The final touches were not done as well as I had expected. There were too many houses being built at the same time in my community and towards the end I don't think the builder had enough time to really focus on the finishing touches. Items that should have been taken care of were done in a poor fashion just so we could close on the given date. ... More

I have been in my home for approximately 3 months. There are greatly noticeable cracks and nail pops throughout the house that were visible prior to moving in. Drywall spackle on mirrors, countertops, walls, and doors I cleaned after closing on the house. The conduit outside the house for the fiber optic line was cut and covered over with concrete making it very difficult for the technician to run the line. I had to cut sections of drywall and then conduit behind the wall in the garage to keep the line from catching on very tight turns. Here my list of issues and concerns - kitchen cabinets and drawers not properly fitting or closing, Ethernet cables not properly run, squeaky subfloor under the hardwood planks. Great build quality!

It was a great experience buying our house with Pulte. We had some issues, but talking with some friends that bought houses with other builders We notice that we had fewer problems and less important problems. We recommend Pulte as a builder.

Builder charges >2500.00 USD to pain your home 1 wall color and 1 white ceiling paint. They use Sherwin Williams CHB paint on the walls including bathrooms. This paint does not wear well and is NOT recommended by Sherwin Williams as a durable wall paint. CHB was also used on the bathroom walls with no anti-microbial protection. If it gets wet it stains. Garage is not finished and assumed the buyer will spend another ~2K out of pocket to finish drywall and paint. A deadbolt lock is not included for the front door. Hardwood floor and stair railings are considerably marked up Carpets is low quality and has 5 year warranty Having insulation in a garage is an upgrade / additional charge. ~950.00 USD The stair rails are glued in place If you want lights above the shower and in some closets ... it is an upgrade. The design center is a gimmick to make up margin on home -- products are marked up >62% - 81% The builder doesn't leave the homeowner any additional tile/flooring/paint or touch up paint for cabinets. It is up to the homeowner to research contact each company to order. The standard sidewalk is 3' width The cement stoop off the basement is 3x3 Downspouts are not buried Serial numbers are not left for the homeowner to register their appliances ... More

All Pulte Staff from Sales, Construction and the Mortgage Department were great to work with! Very professional, handled a 15 day closing with no problem, Not an easy feat!

Pulte was extremely flexible in our purchase process and helped us navigate circumstances peculiar to our purchase process. Really appreciate their patience in the entire time we dealt with them. Happily settling into our new home.

All involved consistently responded in a timely and competent manner

This was our second home built, and Pulte exceeded our expectations. They were attentive and made us feel special. Would highly recommend!

We just bought a home from Pulte (and had one previously from them in Atlanta). Many of the choices they had made before we bought the home, but we were happy with the quality of materials and they took pride in fixing all the issues we found. They are easy to work with and have a very comprehensive set of meetings to handoff the new home to you. Even now that we've finished the purchase they are still responsive at making sure we enjoy the home (and giving us ideas for contractors to make additions and enhancements for the house).

My wife and I love our new house. The build was very good and our filed contractor, Ron, was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had. We do have some items that we need corrected (30 day) and understand with all going on there may be a delay.

Not happy with the quality of the plants Pulte planted in our yard.One section no plants,Some of the plants died within the first month in our home!

From the beginning we felt as if we were getting a raw deal. When we came to pick out the lot and house we were on a time crunch and had only two days to make a decision. The sales team was nice and they drove us around to look at lots and the property. We got back to the office where we chose a lot and chose a style of home and chose all the structural choices. We left to the hotel thinking that it was a specific price because they gave us one and then received an email that was $12,000 more than the price given. The sales manager apologized and said that he should have paid attention to his trainee but why do I get screwed out of $12,000 for your lack of responsibility. So then we were told that the lot was more expensive than the other lots but why would you provide a price and then send me a more expensive price sheet? We finally made it to our new house after two months because we were unable to be attend the closing due to the corona virus. Quickly excitement became disappointment which is sad for the amount of money we paid. To start it off we feel like there was a bait and switch situation going on with the sales team. I say this because the first paperwork we signed had a $9,500 credit in the contract but it disappeared on the day of closing. The explanation I received from the sales manager via text (how professional) was "The $9500 credit was taken off the home price. This was already applied". Wow! so you mean to tell me that you gave me a price on paper to get me hooked and then changed up on me? That's not acceptable! Not being able to attend the closing in person we don't know who to turn to? because the people that I have talked to won't point me in the direction of the boss. Then we finally made it to the house and on day one we are having to clean grout, paint, sand over the house. I mean this is almost a half a million dollar house and you give it to us filthy. The windows don't stay up, the sliding doors don't close and someone put carpet in the garbage disposal along with tile grout, staples and rubber. I am extremely disappointed with the experience that we have received from Pulte. We have even considered seeking out legal counsel on the contract situation because first being misled about the price of the house where it cost me $12,000 more than quoted then $9500 credit disappearing at the closing. If I had to do it all over again I would not go through Pulte!!! Extremely disappointed! ... More

Everybody that worked with us were very helpful. Always there for us when we need them.

Have found lots of paint spots on tile floors and carpet. Painters need to work cleaner especially in a finished house. Also we were told professional cleaners would get house spotless. They need to look for this type of stuff new home owners shouldn't have to do this.

Buying a home from Pulte has been a nightmare. Since the loan process in which the mortgage people where very rude and incompetent all the time to the builder with the completion of the home. Not only the list of things to fix before closing was not done by closing date as promised but it’s been more than a month and half since my closing and I am still fighting with them back and forth to get everything fixed and done. I do not believe that this house is anywhere close the sale price. The only reason why I closed on the home was to not lose my deposit of $20k. I read all the reviews before moving forward with Pulte and was confident that it was going to be a smooth process instead was a complete nightmare. ... More

Just a few comments.....first, this will be the 4th survey or comment I have forwarded and I have yet the hear from anyone regarding my comments !! Perhaps that is SOP...not sure. During the walk-thru I asked if I needed to check the appliances... the answer was no they were checked. Well the first time I ran the dishwasher, which frankly was only last week, I learned the water shut off was in the "off" position. Apparently it was not checked. Someone was to come out today 6/24; however no one did or called to say why. The hood over the range needs some work, and have been asked to get the model number. There is no model number on it and in fact doesn't even state it is a whirlpool unit. They were supposed to come today, but did not since they didn't have the model ... 2 screws are missing, the hood is sagging and piece is loose. Why a model number is needed to make such a repair is beyond me !! The kitchen sink has stains which cannot be removed, one has been ordered and I am awaiting a replacement date. .... Great builder. I would do it all over again without question.

Measure your expecatations.

House still have very high humidity because of poor paint, and constructions. Very low quality sprinkler heads. Stones that they installed is not up to the expectations. Granite's are not sealed at all. Light switches in wrong places in the room. cheap plants for this luxury neighborhood homes, poor land grading, never cleaned the yard after roof installs and having lots of nails in the yard, crown molding joints are visible. Low end HVAC units and the A/C failed within a week. Very bad experience with closing. The management don't want to work with us during the Covid19 issue. Warranty team is doing great job and they are taking care of the issues quickly. These houses supposed to be like John Weiland quality. My daugter bought a home from Lennar at low end and she didn't see any issues with the construction. ... More

I was satisfied with Pulte.

All people we dealt with were pleasant and professional. Updates were timely and materials and finishes were as expected. Looking to spend many relaxing years in this home. Community is friendly and welcoming. Winters will be wonderful here.

We are finding our new home heartwarming and welcoming. We lost our last home in a fire but desperately wanted to return to our community, our neighborhood, where we had spent the last 25 years raising our 2 beautiful girls. It is with that craving of "coming home" that we have spent the past year building our new future home. We love every aspect of it. The way we were treated by everyone here, the sales, build and design teams, (Jonathan, Tim and Vicki), is beyond compare. Thank you!

Great neighborhood, high quality construction, easy to work with even though we went through the build process through long distance. Definitely recommend.
