We had a pretty good home buying experience with Pulte Homes. Though there were few initial hiccups around the time of closing and also after moving in, the Field Manager took care of all the high risk items after we moved in. Customer support from Pulte has been pretty good on fixing some of the urgent issues after we moved in. One thing we are not quite happy is we were not given a default white cabinets option during design center meetings, while another owner who was just around 2-3 weeks behind us in the home buying process were given a default white cabinets option. We ended up not going for white option as it was coming out to be pretty expensive. Another thing which is painful is the design center option bundles. We had to choose oil-rubbed bronze option throughout the house as there were not much options to pick and choose between bronze and other cheaper option for different rooms in the house. ... More

I am very pleased to have bought a condo at Highcrest from Pulte homes. Pulte Holmes has been around for a long time and can be trusted for offering quality home and a fair market price. The process of going through the purchase, mortgage(I financed through Pulte) and closing was an extremely stress-free and pleasant experience. The only surprise perhaps was that a garage space was optional and therefore came at an additional coast - this became clear only when started discussing the pricing. Worth a buy.

So happy with our beautiful and energy efficient home in Reverence. This is our second Pulte neighborhood and they just keep getting better! A great experience from contract, to selections, to build quality reviews, to closing and post sale support.

I love my home and lot, but am very disappointed in the lack of transparency and full disclosure on my issues

We are so happy with the quality of our new home. Everyone we worked with was quick to respond to our questions and walked us through the build process.

The overall build of the home was good. The issue was in the response times to minor repairs. There was often a delay of a week or more for simple repairs like drywall fixes, painting touch-ups, etc. What REALLY makes me question Pulte is what we discovered in our house about a month after owning it. At the time we purchased the home, we didn't notice anything, however gradually over a month of ownership we noticed a growing persistent odor permeating from the ceiling. It got so bad that we had to do something about it! We thought at first it was mold but after 5 days of waiting and investigations, I was discovered that there was a DEAD CAT that had bodily fluids all over the ceiling rotting above one of our rooms! Needless to say, we have been out of our house living in a hotel for about a week while remediation takes place. Pulte has not offered any compensation for our trouble and has not considered the amount of work I had to miss to manage this process. Enjoyed the experience of picking out the appointments for our new home.

The sales process was smooth. The quality of the finishing, (trim work, tile installation, painting) was low in my opinion. The superintendent for my build came across as helpful but his follow through has been poor as far as making sure the finishing issues are resolved. Unfortunately some of the repair work has resulted in more damage/poor workmanship than before the repair. The house closing was moved up 3 weeks from its original date and the quality of the final product seems to have be sacrificed to make this happen.

Building experience was excellent. Our building manager was great and kept in constant contact. Problems started once we moved in. We noticed a long list of issues and attempted to get the pertinent ones fixed and wait on the cosmetic. The Customer Care Manager is polite, but is difficult to get any follow up and zero results. It took over 2 weeks to get in touch with our Customer Service Manager who advised that the issues should have been handled by builder and we would have to wait until 11 month walk thru to get majority addressed. To me this is unacceptable and poor customer service. We have had our home for 6 weeks and have no locks on bathroom door, carpet with nails sticking out, AC issues and a our microwave went out in 5 weeks. I hope we can find some common ground and get some resolution as I do not feel we got value for the price we paid. ... More

This is my second time building a home and this experience was by far better than my previous experience with a different builder. Every question or issue I had was answered or fixed promptly and I always knew what was going on with my house every step of the way. I would definitely build again with Pulte.

Everything has been handled with care and on time. Pulte went out of their way numerous times to make sure we were comfortable during the building process and made sure we understood all that was going on. Highly recommend Pulte home!

It is a process that included excitement, hesitation, anticipation, second guessing, and all. Overall, buying a Pulte home has been a great experience.

The Sales Consultant was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, supportive, kind, and encouraging from beginning to end, which is why I moved forward in purchasing the home at Preston Square. I had issues with Pulte after I paid my deposit. I began the loan process in September and CLOSED in February!! What a nightmare! This will be in a different review... The lure is the $10,000 towards closing cost and the nicely decorated/staged models which hide the inexpensive features of the home. The lot came with a $3,000 premium and behind me is a car impound business. Upgrades inside the home are overpriced (i.e., the kitchen faucet, cabinets, kitchen/bathroom cabinet hardware, stainless steel appliances, etc.,). They chose the least expensive appliances by Whirlpool (the refrigerator very small, no deli cabinet, to name a few; turntable inside the microwave has not worked after only two weeks). The refrigerator moves forward when opened. The toilets do not seem to be of standard size, they seem smaller. I have a light bulb in my living room! There is no light fixture. I had a walk through on 2/13/2020 and by the time I closed on 2/19/2020 repairs had not been made. It took almost a month and there are still a few repairs not made (understandable) due to the stay at home order for Coronavirus. The Customer Service Representative is very professional, providing updates via text message or phone calls. The community itself is inviting. Beautiful, neat and feels like home until you get close and you notice the grass and trees are dying. This is now home and I hope that Pulte will fulfill their warranty obligations and service agreements. ... More

This was a great experience. I really felt I made a great decision with pulte homes. They have a great team who made me feel like family during this experience. Highly recommend pulte homes to new home buyers. It was well worth the wait and working with Jon LoRoche was great as well.

This is my second home building experience and it was miles above the first. Love the house and had a great working relationship w the field manager.

Sales representative, filed manager and other clerks are very nice and patient. The quality of the house is much better than expected.

The home looks beautiful but feel like it was rushed. I have plenty of issues that still aren’t fixed my shower is leaking out water and paint needs to be fixed inside and out. My ceiling in my garage needs to be fixed as well. I feel like my house was rushed and now I have all these problems. And the communication throughout my building process with my site manager was pretty much non-existent. He never let me know what was going on with my home I always had to find out myself on what was going on. So my over all experience with building my home with Pulte is not great. I love my home and think it looks nice but I have all these problems and none of them got fixed and now I have to wait and see if they are ever gonna get fixed. If someone would ask me about Pulte right now with what I’m dealing with right now I would not recommend Pulte to anyone giving my experience right now. ... More

Pulte sales team, from the moment we walked in, understood my families need for a house that was our home. They helped us pick out the right lot, design the perfect home and prepare us for the design lounge and the building process. I highly recommend Pulte, we are so happy with our home and are excited for all the memories we will make in it.
