We had a great initial experience while at the model home and home design process. There were minor issues which were easily resolved. Towards the end things went poorly. It was obvious there were milestones that needed to be met even if standards would be sacrificed. We ended doing our final walkthrough with the home being unfinished. There were literally walls that were unpainted and holes. When we closed there were actually still open holes with exposed electrical pieces. I received many apologies and excuses. The woman who handled our purchase has been great and has been very responsive when we brought up concerns. Disappointed in some of the bathroom fixtures, about as cheap as they could get. Frustrated that homes that have not closed have their cement sidewalks and driveways in and we have been hear over a month and still do not have our cement. We were forced to close on a home that wasn’t fully completed. We gave as much push back as possible to have the home completed prior to closing but Pulte threatened us with potential fines or complete cancellation of the contract (and keeping our down payment deposit) if we didn’t close on their timeline despite the home being incomplete. In fact, we were cornered by the sales manager with these threats at a walkthrough of the property. The contract part with Pulte was very smooth, however don’t forget to read the fine print. They have an exclusion which allows them not to pay the property taxes because they aren’t assessed at the time of the closing. Construction. What a nightmare. Your team is doing a great disservice to your organization with their shoddy workmanship, rude behavior and a seemingly transactional approach. In their haste to complete a home in 90 days they are forgetting that at a bare minimum the home must feel good to the occupants when they move in. Pulte’s contract is one sided, entitling them legally to do whatever they want. They can change your home, lot, site plan, closing date, etc. at will and you can’t do anything about it. They won’t even provide a discount when the changes impact the value of your home. We waited 11 months for our unit which they actually built in a hurry in 6 months. I would give less than 1 or zero if that were on the list! It is all cheap materials—looks like a trainee built the house rather than a professional. I can list hundreds of them. I had to get my flooring done with tiles and when the carpet is lifted, i t was rough surface and holes everywhere like they hammered it—-staris too same thing! Very poor job overall!

We purchased a model home and we were very excited. There were things that needed to be fixed and we were told this would be taken care of so we went ahead and closed. The house was not cleaned before closing and there were countless issues, they rushed to complete what they could in the one-hour window while we were at our closing appointment. Aeron in charge had no interest in following up with issues in regards to our driveway pavers which was stained and broke while we were closing, a claim was filed and no answer received, not even a follow up.
