Supposed to be a new home but with broken HVAC

The “supposed” to be a brand new home by Pulte home has a faulty HVAC equipment which took over a month for some one come and take a look and after 2 attempts still not fixed , why would a brand new home that priced at 1.25 million have a broken HVAC which is not even a month old ? Where is the quality here pulte homes? shame ! My family spent thanksgiving in a cold home , thank you for nothing Pulte homes !

Home not completed. Possibly defective siding.

I have two sinks plumbed incorrectly. There is a piece of trim that was never installed. Carpet nails stab your feet in the main floor living room. When it's windy the southern siding make a lot of noise. I'm concerned that the furnace won't pass inspection due to a valve touching the door. Windows and other fixtures were never cleaned post install. Places that were shown to have defects in the walk throughs were never fixed.

I paid $599,990 to be hoodwinked

When I viewed the home at the open house there was a 4ft puddle in the basement. I was told that it is was residual water from the basement floor being cleaned. Fast forward 30+ days after closing and $599,990 later, I have a 4ft x 3ft puddle in the basement in the exact same location. Shame on me for trusting their word. Will they fix it? Even if they do, that’s a lot of money to spend on being hoodwinked.

I am very dissapointed in the home. There are visible defects in many areas and I don't have confidence in the construction. I don't plan to move in. I felt rushed and misled in the process and when I tried to cancel the purchase they made it clear they'd keep my deposit. Issues haven't been resolved. Very, very disappointing.

No responsiveness on the service request line, always asks to leave on voicemail. No follow up. Customer care manager pushes back on everything with no real concern to the home owner. Major water line leak in first 10 days of ownership. Electrical issues. Very late follow up on closing items closing. Overall very bad experience owning a pulte home.

I would never recommend building a home with Pulte to anyone. We have been in our new home for about 3 weeks and the entire experience start to finish was miserable. The sales guy, Tom H, has no customer service skills and once our deposit check cleared, he basically told us we weren’t a priority and that we were at the mercy of Pulte given we signed the Purchase Agreement. Avoid Pulte at all costs

Starting with Mark our sales agent he misrepresented many issues. Especially the closing. We were force to live in Airbnb for 3 months at 3x price of our mortgage. The quality of the build is a disaster, our windows are so misaligned we could not put in blinded. Doors are different heights, garage doors were broken and 6weeks later not fixed. The grass was dead on arrival. Tommy, our finally construction manager did everything humanly possible to help but there were to many problems. I warn anyone not to buy from Pulte. Oh, the dog park in Verdana Village is so small no one uses it.

I would never buy another house from Pulte Builders. First off before we closed the builder would not do anything about a large crack that ran over 10 feet in the garage. This formed in the beginning process of building and there solution was to just cover it up and move on. I asked for test to be done in that area to confirm there were no foundation issues and they refused. I asked for an extended warranty on that area due to it forming so quickly they refused and said if we didn't go to closing we could be charged for holding up the closing. Pulte does not pay attention to detail, and obviously doesn't care about their customer anymore and the finished product. We were given the wrong keys at closing and had to use the garage door to enter and exit for five days while they searched for the correct keys. The compressor was undersized and froze up the day before close and was replaced with the almost lowest seer unit allowed by law that they could find on a moment’s notice. It's extremely loud, vibrates and sounds like the fan is going to sheer off when it shuts off. If it had frozen up after close, we'd probably still be waiting ...

I bought a quick move in home that was already half way completed when I got it. It took two months for the builder to complete the home and during that process I did not receive much updates on the progress. The day of closing they were still trying to rush finishing the home and installing things like windows or doors. Not Content As Ine Should Be With A New House

I was so happy when I decided to buy a new build. However, this happiness was completely lost when I moved in. Quality of materials used is below even apartment grade. Example, the garbage disposal won’t even break down a piece of fruit. The paint job seems like a 12 y/o did it. We live in an area with many options for builders and we chose Pulte because of the salesman. He will ignore you after you close. He/ Pulte will push you to close before your house is complete, then persuade you that small issues can be fixed later under Warranty. Much of my street share the same complaint about this builder. They will send their mafioso warranty guy who will deny everything but the most obvious repairs needed. Even then, our "project manager" denied flooding around the house is a problem. Cheap quality and terrible work on hvac!

Sellers agent was shady and Didn’t want to negotiate the price even when appraisal came back lower than listing price. One month after closing, ac started acting up. Got dragged around to get service done. This company only hired cheap subcontractor do do the work. Very very bad experience, don’t trust pulte. Had multiple issues through out the process but they don’t have time to fix it as they are very busy with other customers and don’t care about old customers. I made a bad choice building my dream home with pulte, please don’t do what I did. We built our house once in lifetime and they don’t care once they get the money.

If I knew what I know now I would’ve chose other house company to deal with or neighborhood for that matter. They don’t care about their buyers, only the money they can get. Now that I live in this house, I’ve seen a lot of half done job, cut a lot of comers, and just covered their crappy workmanship. Very disappointing. 0 star!!!

Pulte used to be an elite builder. Now they have lessened to cheap materials and 'don't call me, I'll call you' customer service. You wouldn't expect to see the following in a Pulte home based on it's advertising confidence: flat paint (even in wet areas); missed painted areas; door strikes carved with a pocket knife; crooked doors; missing tile; unsealed windows; not following floor plans, and more.
