Pulte Sales misled me early on, costing me thousands of dollars. Low quality standards evidenced inside and outside of house. Contractors show no pride in their work, or interest in doing a good quality job. Pulte construction shows no interest in quality. They are incented to put the house up as fast as possible so Pulte can collect your money ASAP!!!

The entire experience was awful. The title company was awful, the y process was terrible and there was rarely communication, the warranty department doesn’t respond to my emails. Workers don’t show up when they’re supposed to. I had a better experience with Lennar and that’s saying a lot

I signed my contract to build my house with Pulte on November 23, 2020. The building permit was granted on around March 2021 due to County backlog. But the house did not completed until 2/28/2022, almost a year later. What was really bothered me that my house build permit was granted 3 or 4 month before other houses in the block. But it did not get windows before other houses. I got the weekly update from the building manager stated that the widow order was delayed due to nation labor shortages. I know that was not true because other houses that was built later received their widows before ...

This has been a nightmare from day one. We are a young family moving to tampa from Orlando and were sold a house with an approximate closing date of 8/2021. We forgave many other better products because of this said closing date. Pulte off the back told us we were pushed back to 12/2021 and then later to 2/2022. It’s been very bad experience, in terms of communication and response. And new house has so many problems ,Including faulty equipment and it’s hard to get hold of people to get issues fixed. And closing has been delayed for months . And after waiting for Months and overpaying interests we still have to face issues like low water pressure and dishwasher, oven not working , electrical issues which cause inconvenience consistently in every day life.

From the time we signed the earnest money contract, we were rushed, pushed to make design decisions and then pushed at the design center. The sales agent was useless and impolite. We learned that the design center was incompetent and it took days of wasted effort to get things right (although they managed to still install the wrong countertops TWICE). The workmanship on the house was extremely shoddy. Holes in the floor, damaged drywall hidden behind cabinets, scratches and scuffs, crooked shower heads ... I could go on and on - and oh - not a square light switch or outlet in the whole ...

The experience is not what I thought it would be. With over fifty items still to complete, they force you to close or they will sell your home to someone else. I am still waiting on every type of trade to come complete projects. There has not been any response at all from the warranty department and it has been almost two months. I know I am not the only one in this predicament.

The build quality is really bad. I had kitchen cabinets scratches, issues with engineering floor, interior door after house closing. The workers are lack of experience. I call the pulte customer care department ten times... I couldn't reach any people to talk with rather than leaving a voice message..

Blatant disregard for customer happiness and buying experience

PLEASE STAY CLEAR. Extremely horrible buying experience. They made mistakes in the basement for wet bar plumbing and bathroom rough-in plumbing but refused to accept it. They changed contractors 3 times over the course of the build. Build quality is extremely poor - hear squeaky sounds like the house is from the 80s. Zero professionalism and accountability. Horrible management and really bad workmanship make this an experience I would not wish on my worst enemy. Do not build with Pulte.

I cannot endorse Pulte. Covid delays and supply chain delays aside, I’ve found their pre construction supervisor literally supervises nothing and is the last to know about QC issues, which there were many. Almost a different excuse everyday as to why things aren’t getting done. The post closing construction manager is equally unresponsive. Yes, things are getting done, but at a snail’s pace. Further, the subs that finally show up to correct items that should’ve been done correctly in the first place (had their been actual construction supervision) have a bad attitude and lack skill. ...

This is probably the worst company I have ever worked with. They don't seem to communicate across the multiple divisions within the company at all. We had to beg and call repeatedly to get updates and then had our closing date moved out 2 weeks 3 days prior to closing. The quality seems okay, but we found leaks prior to closing and they left us a present of drywall frozen to our garage floor on closing day (why someone would pressure wash a garage on a 20 degree day is beyond me). Closing date was cemented, Pulte Mortgage asked us to wire our Escrow funds, and we ended our apartment lease. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a builder, an yes I have built previously. Project managers were horrible (Zach, Chris (replaced Zach) and Mike the Project Manager over them, unreceptive and did not provide updates as promised Mike Bahr was the worst individual to deal with, he was even more useless than the others.
