It was a bit of struggle with Pulte on all accounts (construction, sales office, mortgage) from start to finish. Construction issues were covered up, we were told some of the staff cut corners (by other staff) and given a multitude of misinformation by sales, and our mortgage representative had little knowledge of the products he was selling. In regards to construction, the paint is already chipping, cracks in ceilings (1 month in), house was not properly cleaned upon move-in (still tape marks all over floor) and just general lack of attention to detail. We are happy to finally be in our home, but would not buy a Pulte home again. The silver lining is that some of the upper management (construction and mortgage) were extremely helpful, professional, and responsive--it just took us a while to get to the point of us contacting (and end up working with) them during this process. ... Front office staff very responsive. Couple of response time delays, but overall very pleasant and cooperative. Not overly impressed with cleaning crew. Tucker came out personally to do a job that they should have completed. Front office staff always very pleasant and responsive.

I followed the whole house construction, the framing was done using a lot of cracked timber. Tiles have been installed directly on the slab concreate without any membrane and indeed some one is already cracking. I have had roofing problems with a leaking which has been fixed. So in general I’m not happy with the build quality

I bought House from Pulte because of the name but i am very disappointed in their process and level of service they provided.

Pulte have it all. The team is great. Sales, Mortgage company. Field team. 100% recommended

The process leading up to the build was fantastic. The Pulte team really knows how to make you feel like you are the center of the "universe" when it comes to your build. First, the positives: 1. Responsive to questions 2. Fast build 3. Pulte Mortgage was a good team and was very easy to work with 4. Very few issues along the way 5. Great people to work with Cons: 1. The choices in the design process can be a sham. You get two cabinet choices, both of which are not great. I called Aristocraft cabinetry out of curiosity to see what the cost difference is for different colors. Surprise, there wasn't for 4 other colors. Pulte gives you the worst two colors and if you want more, you pay the premium. This is not a good practice. 2. We chose the radiant barrier for the attic. However, Pulte does not install radiant barrier on the gable wall. I thought this strange so I called the manufacturer of the radiant barrier. They recommend that for complete effectiveness, it be installed at all outer facing walls and the roof. I relayed this message to our site manager and was told Pulte does not do this. 3. The follow up. Several things were missed in terms of touch up and stains and what not on carpet and other small issues. No biggie, it happens and is expected on a new build. After the close of the house, crickets. It has not been a month now since my last communication on issues that were supposed to be resolved on the day of closing. I will say one final thing, the process for the most part was great and we do have a lovely home. However, Pulte claims that they are a step above the rest, but at the end of the day they are just like your Mungo homes or Lennar, nothing special and limited choices on cost comparison. The people we have dealt with are what have made this a good process but they do have a few things they need to change to make it an excellent company, not just another home builder. ... More

Ensure to receive the complete information regarding the quality of all the materials because we didn’t receive all of the details about our floor’s material.

Since moving into our house, we have had quite a few issues (broken furnace, plumbing not working, creaky floors) as well as realizing that there were some poor design choices or just cheapness (cabinet doors that need bumpers because they bang into walls and other cabinets, odd placement of countless light switches, master bath door opens in front of shower, frames only on 3 out of 6 mirrors, counter overhangs not quite enough for comfortable seating, floor tiles and vinyl not running the way any of us would have expected, furnace lines running directly in the center of the master bedroom wall and not protected by anything other than drywall). Eventually I think we will be happy with the house ... hopefully the issues that we have been experiencing will all be taken care of, and hopefully this is just a bad start and we won't continue to have problems. ... Love the home but been having a lot of issues and I only been here two months so Im not as happy as I was when i was purchasing. Please take your time when purchasing a new home it can be your worst nightmare if you dont do your homework.

Skilled craftmanship, quick to response with issues. Overall experience with pulte team is awesome..

Multiple issues with my home and have been here for almost 2 months. There is no follow through on anything. This is our 4th home and couldn’t be any more disappointed

The workmanship has been poor. While we were rushed into closing, many issues remained unresolved. There were many minor flaws. However, there were many major flaws requiring redoing/replacement of the following items. 1. Crooked windows - needed re-installment 2. Kitchen sink scratched - needed replacement 3. Front door peep hole drilled wrong - waiting for replacement 4. Master bath toilet door installed wrong - waiting for re-installment 5. Guest bath cabinet damaged - waiting for replacement 6. Master bath toilet did not function properly - after two service calls it is finally in working conditions with a warning that it may happen again 7. The heating system is not working well. The master bedroom area is very cold and we are barely managing by using extra heaters. With each of these being redone, we are going through lot of inconveniences. Pulte and their whole team made this a wonderful and a stress free experience!

Before closing make sure all repairs/corrections have been made to your satisfaction. We had some minor issues that were still pending and were told at the final walk-thru they would be taken care of after the closing. When trying to schedule it became somewhat of a challenge. In all fairness the most crucial item did receive attention. Otherwise, we are very pleased with our new home : )

Looking for a new home started as a daunting process for me since it was first time going through it. However, Pulte really made it easy and helped every step of the way. I love the design of my home and the community around it, and feel like I have a comfortable grasp on what’s expected of me as a new homeowner.

Quality of material could have been a lot better for the price paid.

Project was always on time or ahead of schedule

This house was everything I was expecting it to be. Quality, fit/finish, are superb IMO. Sales person was very knowledgeable. Foreman ensured everything was on par and fixed promptly if any issues arose even before final walk through.

The whole process has been really well laid out with a few hiccups in between which were taken care of immediately by the concerned parties when concerns were raised. It was a great experience with the entire team. Everyone on the build team communicated great. Currently enjoying our Home.

Completely satisfied! The entire Pulte staff was excellent before, during, and after the process. We highly recommend Pulte homes to any and everyone looking to buy a new constitution home.

Worst framing I’ve seen in years. Studs missing, no corner studs, single king studs around window openings holding up thousands of pounds of roof tile. Electrical wiring pulled with the sheathing pulled off of it. Wires taped together buried in the walls. Outlets covered resulting in excessive opening made in the drywall to locate them. Gas lines moved and only tested after I questioned them About it. Names constantly missed spelled in documents and even yelled at our lender on the phone because they thought it was a robo call - really your a business! I would never had boy this Property had I know about the pending litigation and recent customers waiting for nearly two years to have properties corrects. I would never recommend Pulte. My door bell doesn’t work for goodness sake. Horrible builder ... More

Overall happy with the purchase. Great location and good plan. But few defects like a leaking pipe showed up once we moved in. But Pulte was quick to rectify it.

Very pleased with all aspects of the home we had built. Josh the contractor was great as was everyone involved in the process. Very satisfied.
