Awful customer service and bullying tactics to get to the closing table out of the blue which resulted in having to cancel a missionary trip at the last moment. The closing was then moved the day of the walk thru and cost me over 10k due to loss of trip. Not only apology was offered and in fact the bullying and threats up thru the inside legal council continued up until the evening before the eventual closing. The lack of leadership by anyone at Pulte is not only disappointing and the entire Pulte organization should be embarrassed how I was treated through this process.

Insufficient construction supervision during the build process

This is the fifth new home we have purchased in our lifetimes. This has been, and continues to be, the worst customer experience. Pulte appears to have made bottom line decisions which have severely impacted the quality of their home build and the outcome of the customer experience. They do not provide an adequate number of construction supervisors for the number of homes they are building. This is why we will not recommend Pulte to family or friends.

2 months later my house with BlueGreen Tapes and non functional cabinets

Pulte has total disconnected from different departments, bad sales team(one I got), amazing construction manager, worst sub contractors, bad quality, failed. The attention to detail and workmanship left a lot to be desired for the price. I also have to constantly hound our field manager to get things fixed. And almost 2 months later I still have items from the pre-closing walkthrough that weren’t completed. They flooded the house while testing the water a few days before closing. If I could do it over again I probably wouldn’t buy with Pulte.

Sales does not disclose issues with the apartment complex adjacent to Martins landing. Our HOA fees pay for a doggy park for Edgewood apartments, dogs from Edgewood urinate and defacate on our common areas damaging the sod and bushes. Apt renters do not pick up after their dogs in our common areas and harass Martins Landing owners. Dartmouth Group refuses to enforce the Condominium rules and regulation, they ignore e-mails sent by unit owners of violations. Delays, False Promises, and Poor Trades

The build process was less than ideal. We were delayed 6 months from our original completion date. I feel that the sales consultant and field manager promised a timeline they knew they wouldn’t complete. The FM - Seth Nisall - was very combative, which resulted in a blow up in the sales office. He was immediately removed from our build, and Brett became our new FM. Brett was the only positive Pulte attribute. The complete home buying process was horrible, a train wreck, by far the worst of any new build house I have purchased. It took 16 months from the time we signed our contract until closing with over 10 months being the build. The drawings for the house didn’t align with our options in our contract and then the house wasn’t even built to the drawings causing massive delays due to rework including redoing basement concrete to add plumbing that was never installed for the entire house and redoing framing in the basement and first floor. Just about everything in this home was never done correctly the first time. Not to mention I’ve been in my home two months and warranty repairs need to be done. Also, it’s mind boggling that they don’t have a sense of quality control to ensure things are done correctly the first time or in a timely manner. Excuse after excuse has left me in an incomplete home for two months and warranty repairs for leaks and tnings falling apart!

I will say my loan consultant were great. My construction manager(Kelly) answer every call and email. A terrible experience. More than a month has elapsed since closing and there is no internet service to the unit we purchased. We were sold a "smart house" but there is no access to internet. Very frustrating and totally inexcusable. Someone has dropped the ball.

Our construction manager Mike wasn’t very communicative throughout the process on giving us updates to the build. We drove by the lot daily to check up on progress ourselves. Many items on our final walk through were left unfinished, there’s a stain on the new carpet in one of the bedrooms that has been there since before closing. Second house with Pulte. Totally different experience this time. We knew there would be delays due to worker shortage and supplies. Our house did get delayed and we were ok with with. There is a total lack of communication on everything. We closed with our house not being complete. We have a work order to finish the house. It has been 8 weeks and we have had a couple things done. But now Pulte has stopped with completing our house.

Would not build with Pulte again. Many of the subcontractors did poor quality work and much of it had to be done redone several times. Significant issues remain 30 days after closing.

Emotionally draining and Traumatic experience, we have to pay money and then beg for it to completed soon by given dates. Lot of issues after move in ,you can never get hold of customer service on phone . Requests to fix issues ETA of 4-5 months. Do not take keys until all things are taken care .

I wouldn’t recommend Pulte to my worst enemy. The seller I worked with kept on forgetting things to busy trying to rush the deal. I brought 2 others when with me when I selected the home and upgrades. I requested irrigation systems to be installed. The seller failed to include that. I found out 2 weeks before I close and they did not approve the add on later. The builder manager told him it can be installed. Now I am shopping around for an irrigation system. Most home builders in TX already include irrigation without being requested. On top of that my grass is dying since it wasn’t being ...

Pulte is a cookie cutter homebuilder. Please do not expect to make any changes, even with a change order. Three days after I put my contract in, I wanted to put in a change order for a screened in lanai. I was told I couldn't, because the order had already been submitted to the county. I see many issues after my closing date and I discover new ones everyday. You need yo make sure that your craftsmanship is high quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I have the switch of disposer in my cabinet. But why? I have unpainted portion of a wall. I had a door that was impossible to lock now I can lock it but door has a bad alignment now. Please make sure you pay particular attention to details.
