Pulte Homes - This was by far my worst home buying experience.

This was by far my worst home buying experience. I will never purchase another Pulte home, the workmanship was extremely bad for the price paid. The builders, contractors and warranty department were extremely untrustworthy and not willing to make their errors right without me putting up a fight.

We love our first new home, because it belongs to us... however, the quality and workmanship Pulte gives their clients is close to zero. I have seen apartment maintenance men do finer work then that which is made up within our home. Once you close, despite issues you find during your walkthrough - you can kiss your “fit to finish” warranty and the communication from your Pulte contacts goodbye. It’s a good thing we are in the construction business otherwise I might have cried (more) when we moved in. After moving in, we have had so many issues with our home that we regret buying it. It’s as if no one looked at the home to ensure things were done right. Cabinets are misaligned, improperly installed, broken, nails missing from showers, grout is multiple colors or missing, door knobs damaged, paint splashes and grout EVERYWHERE, light fixtures installed crookedly, framing issues, dirt and sawdust everywhere, nails in carpet, metal debris in lawn - this is an absolute nightmare.
