Upon purchasing my home I was told about several walk through processes that would happen to ensure my satisfaction with the house. None of those meetings have been accomplished, and when multiple issues arrived including drainage issues and flooding the company was not available to speak on important foundational issues. I was so excited to build with Pulte as we had purchased a model home from them three years ago. We had picked out the perfect lot and did over $100k in upgrades too! I had expected a few bumps in the road but not as many as we went through. Poor workmanship and materials, worse than buying a cheap fixer upper.

This is the second home from Pulte we purchased because of the quality work based on the first one. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship and materials on this new house is so poor, we just can’t even compare to the first one or even some fixer uppers. Doors and door frames are refurbished with new paints over them but still can be seen visibility on the outside with dents and uneven surface. We were very disappointed with Pulte in almost every step of the process. It started with the offer of incentives to use Pulte Mortgage which was not competitive and they changed their numbers on what our payment would be through an “honest” mistake. Needless to say we shopped around then and found much better rates/payment. Loan match guarantee? Promised- but couldn’t do. Work that was supposed to be finished prior to closing, was not. Spending hours of our time to get issues fixed. Not a positive experience.

This house is by far the worst quality build I have had in all my homes. We have safety issues in our yard that has not been correct after several requests. This is a common theme they do not follow through. Myself and other in our neighborhood agree that there is a lack of oversight on the subcontractors. The site supervisor do not roughly inspect the work completed. Our living room ceiling was not built according to plans and it is two feet lower. A complete nightmare. Started during build process continued after closing. From sub par craftsmanship now to a new home filled with mold that made me sick! Only lived it 2 weeks had a major foundation issues. Then because lack of followIf i could go back I would never build with Pulte Homes! The home we received was NOTHING like the model home we toured. Contractors are horrible and Pulte does not check homes like they claim during the build process.

What I would tell prospective homebuyers would be to run far and fast away from Pulte homes! This is my 3rd Pulte home and it will be my last. The quality of the work in the house is abysmal! There is basically zero responsiveness to issues. If there is any sort of followup it’s only when asked multiple times and then the work still doesn’t get completed. The finishes are sloppy and careless and if I couid go back in time knowing what I know now I would never have purchased this home.

Despite the builder's one-year warranty, I did not anticipate encountering so many major issues — it has been truly mind-boggling. While the final product looks nice on the surface, my overall experience building with Pulte was frustrating and disappointing. It is impossible to get a response whether it is via the portal, in the office or the 1800 number. The friendly service received during the sales process (although not always efficient) leaves a lot to be desired once the keys are handed over. We have not moved in, 60 days after signing, and there are multiple issues that Pulte is leaving unresolved. Completely frustrated. Highly recommend to plan ample time between inspection, items getting addressed and final signature. Home horribly built. Rushed into a closing date with an ill equipped home from a QC perspective. Documented over 10 active issues with paramount issue of faulty air.
