Bad quality material. Very bad Builder and construction manager. Terrible paint service. They use very cheap materials. I was very much disappointed with the Builder.

Unfortunately, I ignored the bad reviews I saw and I regret that now. From the sales process, to the building/construction process, to now my experience post-closing has been terrible. Given how much I paid for this home, the quality is not there and they know it and just don't care. When you point things out, they minimize them and act like it's completely normal to move into a brand new house with defects - or just ignore you. Even after upgrading most things, the materials are so cheap (quality not price). Getting them to fix the issues is a whole different story. They are not responsive ...

Think Twice Before Buying

Our new home was built to a very poor level of quality. It looks like they used bargain bin/defective sheetrock and trim throughout. Cheapest possible appliances, carpet, cabinets, and paint. Wish I had gone with a different builder.

Why did Pulte require me a disabled retired veteran to pay 17k dollars down payment to start my contract to build my home. My credit scores were above 800 during the buying process. Also Pulte only offered a 30 day closing option just to wait for the interest rate to rise.

Pulte homes is overpriced for the quality of materials they produce. From the faucets to the flooring it’s all very cheap. Downstairs was mixed with carpet and tile for the standard build they ran tile @ the front door (foyer)and then just laid one piece of carpet in front of the stairs and went back to tile for the kitchen and dining area and back to carpet again for the “living room” which isn’t a living room it looked horrible. The faucets are so cheap it’s unbelievable. The cabinets are super cheap. For the amount of money they ask they could @ least provide the buyers with better quality ...

Pulte is the worst builder ever. Bad finishes, materials and customer service. The construction mgrs don’t perform their duties and are unresponsive to any communication.

We have been disappointed with the home buying process and workmanship in our home. We were hoping to be excited to take possession and that did not happen. Many times our concerns were dismissed. No urgency to get things corrected. For example, our doors on the lower level will not close, at all. The carpet in one area does not meet the baseboard which leaves a gap. The toilet is not bolted down tight to the floor. The toilets are not centered between the vanity and tub. We do not have a main water shut off inside the home (has since been resolved). They have extremely bad workmanship. The number of problems we found in the first month of ownership is just ridiculous. The fireplace did not work, clearly it was not even tested by the builder. The stove has issues with multiple burners not turning on promptly. The landscaping was not evened out so pools of water were building in the yard. There are huge gaps under the baseboards but we were told it is "within tolerances." We have reported all of these and more issues to warranty and nothing has been fixed. Rusted kitchen countertop. The spots are spreading everyday. None of the people from Pulte are responding. They are claiming it to be natural stone mineral deposits. This is not true at all.

Our home building process with Pulte @ Hunters Run Fishers IN, which was supposed to be exciting and joyful turned into worst nightmare of our life as soon as we signed the contract. The new home build process was financially and mentally detrimental to our entire family. Poor quality and bad workmanship

Had an issue with main staircase with visual nail marks on treads and open gaps between stairs and stringer. All 16 steps out of 16 steps have gaps and nail marks. Reported to site manager before closing and he told us to handle it with warranty. Stairs contractor and Pulte warranty manager came out and look at it. Both agreed that it’s poor workmanship but still Pulte’s response is it’s within spec. Still working with warranty but this shouldn’t cause this much trouble. I have bad experience with Pulte Quality of Building

I am experiencing multiple heater issues in my new house 1) getting big noise while running heater multiple times in a day in Flex room as well as powder room. Pulte management saying it's as per quality, I did check with multiple Willwood house owners and they are not getting any noise. 2) we need to wait 3 to 4 minutes every time to get hot water in master bathroom so we are wasting 15 to 20 minutes of water every day before shower.

Beware of Pulte or any of their related co’s

Pulte DID NOT follow their own guiding principles: “Do the right thing”; “Compassion for the customer” or “Care about quality”. They bullied us into closing on a house that was Not “Complete, Clean or Move-In-Ready” They switch out appliances selected and paid for to lower level brand. A house that should look new looks like a 20 year old resale due to chipped floor tiles, chipped drywall corners, scratched doors, dented and gouged baseboard and trim, window, door, electrical and plumbing issues, too many more list.

They delivered the home with lots of issues. Pulte is not checking the basic construction quality prior to closing. Water was leaking from my pantry and Pulte took almost 1.5 months to fix. They installed wrong tile and still waiting to replace. Outside is horrible. Water and mud in my back, left and right of my home. Pulte is not giving any timeline to fix. They did not install the digital lock either and did not reimburse till now. I am very much frustrated with the build quality and response from Pulte.
