Trustworthiness is frequently surfacing due to how the Pulte Group responds to the homeowner once the property is turned over to the owner. This brief survey does not allow for specifics only general response(s). The longer that I own the home, the less Pulte is interested in my concerns, expectations or grievances. This is across the board from sales to repairs. Talking to other homeowners in my neighborhood, they have similar experiences also.

My wife and I purchased this new home when we moved to Texas from Georgia. The house has major air conditioning issues to this day that have not been corrected (12 A/C service calls), there have been multiple issues that had to be addressed that should have been caught by the builder before we closed yet were identified after closing, the master bedroom closet shelves collapsed, and the overall effort of the Pulte team to address customers concerns with their new homes after closing is below average to say the least. The quality of our new home is sub-par. After moving in we noticed that 2 walls in the middle of our home aren't even close to straight. They're slated to be repaired but being that were occupying the home now it will be a big inconvenience. Our A/C unit wasn't wired correctly and shorted out leaving us without air while 100+ outside and by the time it was repaired it was almost 90 in our home. 4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

The mortgage and title process experience were great. I was able to get answers to questions in a timely matter. That is not true with customer service with their responsiveness to issues. Every call went to voicemail. I did not get call backs or in a timely manner. You will have some things like not having the air conditioning turned on, or the heat which is frustrating. Nice employees but poor company & quality. Still scraping paint from tiles, lots of flaws in paint job, drawers don’t close properly, electrical issues (lights in kitchen won’t work after 3.5 weeks of use), washer not functioning properly (part of deal)...the list goes on. I made a mistake purchasing a new home from PULTE. Love the neighborhood but with I had gone with a different builder.

I closed on my new home on October 28, and I have yet to enjoy it. For a new construction, the number and severity of issues is absolutely unbelievable. The water heater has failed twice since closing. Because of this, my family and I have had to pay out of pocket to stay in a hotel for nearly two weeks, while waiting for repairs. Failed promise, lies, disappointments - This is what our experience and Pulte ruined our happiness and Thanksgiving. We were lied outright and if Pulte representative doesn't stand to what he said and outright changes his words then how does it build trust, never ever had this kind of bad experience with any other builder we worked with in the past. Lots of promises up front before closing that issues would be resolved. Painters came three times since closing yet quality of work and products are extremely subpar. We have not complained again because we feel it will be more of the same. Expectations have not been met and there seems to be little interest in engaging us to check in. Every door in our home has issues and all door handles are poor quality. We have given up and most community members (according to what we hear in the chat group) are unhappy. We will not buy from Pulte ever again!

Many issues we reported before closing were only temporarily fixed, and several patches have already come apart, with no response from the construction manager on the items they agreed to address after closing. I regret building my home with Pulte. I would have given zero stars but that was not an option. I experienced countless issues with build quality. I brought these issues to the attention of the job superintendent Dylan. Even after I had an independent inspector come and I showed the report to Dylan, he would still not fix the issues. To make matters worse, not one person at the company ever listened to my complaints. Not one person. I'm marking the review as anonymous because I do not want any retribution from this company.

Service during the search and sale was typical; so, no need to review Pulte home buying. What really matters is service after the sale and what a one-year warranty really means. Like Gen Z says, "Pictures or it didn't happen!" Since uploads are not allowed on this site, I direct you to Google reviews wherein pictures are posted. (You're welcome!) Cabinets in both bathrooms must have been damaged during install, but instead of REPLACING them, notice the pictures where the patchwork is blatantly obvious, giving the cabinets a "previously used" look. what an aesthetic for a "new build" ...

DO NOT BUY A PULTE HOME!!!!!! We have been in this house for 2 months and it’s been horrible. We have had a gas leak. We have doors won’t close properly and hinges that pop and crack, flooring on first floor getting repaired/replaced for the second time, and major crack in the foundation. I wish I would have never bought this nightmare!!!!
