I was lucky to buy another new home prior to this purchase. The home buying experience was pretty ordinary compared to the last one. Their inflexibility with options for a home that costs over 800k is laughable.

Very disappointed with the amount of issues that the home had since moving in, and the amount of time it is taking to get these issues addressed and resolved. My closing date was 11/15/19, and as of now (1/08/20)I still have approximately 20 items on my list that I continue emailing to your team on a weekly basis. Quite a few of these issues were pointed out prior to moving in, and did not get addressed at the time. Anderson has been proactive with trying to help to get issues resolved, however most of them should of been resolved prior to closing.

People who work in Pulte are professional and responsible.

The worst builder so many problems so many missing stuff

The only positive from building this house was Dave, the construction manager. He helped always and was very kind and caring. We have many areas where paint is there. We have many dents in our drywall that were just painted over and never filled in. We have paint drips all over the house on our floors. The three external doors all close wrong and weather striping is coming off. We have huge ditches in our yard that the city said had to be made or we'd have flooding. No one compensated us for no yard now but charged us additional money for a corner lot. At least they could have taken away the extra charge for the lot to compensate us for having no yard. We may have 15 x 20 piece of yard to have outside fun in. Our side yard on the garage side is so slanted that you can not even walk down that side of the house. We paid extra for a side garage door to go in and out of and we can not even use. They forgot the door and had to cut the concrete on the garage footings to put the door in. They also do not have the concrete slab outside the door attached to the foundation. Plus it is so high you a difficult time steppng onto it. It also has the under gravel showing and no dirt covering it. We have a dog and can not even put a fence up because of the deep ditches. Now for Morgan at the mortgage company. She made our life miserable with her uneducated knowledge of the closing process. We knew more than she did and had to tell her numerous times what she needed or needed to do for us. She even stepped in for someone off on our day of closing and caused us a huge delay in our delivery of our furniture etc. from our movers because she said she didn't have the correct paperwork even though the person doing the closing had received it from them and had it on the closing paperwork. She did nothing to help but did more to make us crazy. We would tell people at Plute at different levels and they would ask who we were speaking of and we'd say Morgan and they'd go Oh. Like they had heard this many times before about her. I also used your insurance company for our house and haven't received anything regarding it or paid for anything. I keep having to ask for information and help to get our house covered. I will have to do this again today to see if we do have house coverage. So I'd say we have NOT had much good come from buying a house from Pulte from many of the Pulte owned companies. Sad to see the workmanship on something you pay hard earned money for. ... More

Choice of hanging lights or being left out should be buyers. This was a rediculous additional cost to have yours taken down and donated and paying to have new ones put up. Dimmer lights should be an option. Again additional cost to the buyer. More center island outlets needed We are not first time buyers and have a home at the beach and mountains plus 2 rentals.

We are happy with our new home, but the build process wasn’t seamless. We are still fixing issues after move-in.

We made the mistake of planning move-in based on the dates the builder had given us. They made the date for closing but many items were missed or sloppily done for to make the date. After closing, we walked into workers in the house cutting holes in the drywall and hap-haphazardly installing the back splash tiles with all the associated mess. 6 Weeks later, we are still trying to get many items addressed. Most customizations we asked for were not allowed and any "late" changes to the order caused problems.

A very smooth and easy home buying experience.

Overall it’s good, but some part of the work did not finish or have some issues.

Had some major issues prior to closing. Gave Pulte more then a month of heads up. Was told it will be taken care of. It of course was not done prior to closing. Now months after moving in still dealing with people coming in and out getting things done. Not talking about punch list, paint areas type of items. Major headache for something that could have been addressed prior to me moving in. Pulte is doing what they said they would but I am having to constantly remind and send emails to ensure that things get done. I am having to project manage basically and stay on top of things which should have been done prior to move in. I do not think I would build with Pulte again. Premium price for average to below average quality of finish. For sure do not get their options! Do it yourself through contractors after close and save yourself the extra headache and $$$. ... More

JUST GO A LITTLE BIT EAST IN ESTERO TO THE PLACE AND ASK FOR SAMMY, HE WILL WORK WITH YOU AND MAKE A GRATE NEW HOME BUILD EXPERIENCE.

pulte is cheaper and product really cheap. your new home will feel like old starting very first month

Overall, the home is great! The design studio was amazing and staff super friendly. Kerry was very helpful at answering our questions and making sure our home had the specific upgrades we wanted. However, we closed on the home from across the US and there were still many things wrong when we moved in. There were many issues flagged during the walk through that were supposed to be fixed, but were not. We are trying to put in warranty calls, but no one answers and the automated system doesn't allow for voicemails. Stepping on nails/carpet tacs in each doorway, severely cracked granite countertop, and a giant spot on the outside of the home that needs painted... no answers! The home design and office staff are great. Quality of materials, build, and follow through... poor! ... More

The foreman for my home is exceptional. He addressed all of my concerns promptly and professionally. He answered all questions calmly, courteously, and in complete detail. He was awesome. He is an asset to you company.

Just closed on a new Pulte home and the they tried their best to get me to close with most of the finish work sub standard. I spent lots of energy getting them to do a half decent job when they tried to pass off substandard work. Subs rush through the work and don't care a bit about getting things straight, flat, or aligned. Pulte will attempt to fix things if you complain but even then it's still minimal quality. Go for a base home and add things after closing. Any extras you pay for aren't worth it because the workmanship is so poor. Make sure you get everything in writing because their word doesn't mean anything. ... More

We could not be happier in our new Pulte home. Our super built a beautiful home and Pulte mortgage kept us updated every step of the way. There were no surprises (which was a surprise) we definitely recommend Pulte to anyone in the market for a new home.
