1. Wrong type window (fixed) was installed in master bedroom which can't be opened. 2. 240V wiring was wrong which burnt my new dryer. 3. The floor is not level, 4. the concrete patio is in wrong pitch, a big pond will formed at front door in every raining day 5. Garage floor has a lot of of oil stains Issue #3, 4, 5 were reported during final walk-through. Pulte promised will fix them. Almost 3 months from close, still have not be solved. Very, very disappointed with Pulte for the built quality and service.

We have an extensive list of items that needed fixing and at this time, we are receiving very little response! We still have a broken UPGRADED countertop in the master bathroom and a shower that everyone keeps saying is another trades responsibility because it isn't a simple fix (or cover up). The framers did not frame in the space correctly and instead of having them come back in to fix it, they attempted to hide the issue with building out the tiles so the glass door would fit in the space, which resulted in inch thick grout in places. It look horrendous. Our first month living here, we were without power in our living room for 12 days and during one of the appointments to fix the issues, the electrician found spliced wires (FIRE HAZARD!!!). We have very little good to say about the quality of the house. It was rushed to get it off the books by the end of the year and it shows!! Low quality. Not trustworthy. Not Responsive.

I wish Plute’s sale person could have provided truth rather than misleading information to convince the customers to buy the condo. For example, I was told by the sale that the building will be using Pulte patent structure and we will not hear noise from upstairs. It turns out not true, I can hear neighbors above me walking around their rooms. If the sale did not exaggerate, I will buy the unit on the top floor. I asked the sale if I could have hardwood floor instead of carpet for the bedrooms. He told me that it is not an option item, but I can always change to hardwood floor after moving in. That’s why I did not upgrade the carpet since I will change it to hardwood floor. After moving in, I was told that I cannot change carpet to hardwood floor for bedrooms due to county regulations for the condo! I would like to have the fan in the bathroom connected with shower light instead of vanity light. The sale and field manager told me they cannot do it, but ensure me that it is very easy to be switched after moving in. After moving in, the electrician informed me it is very complicated/impossible to switch it! I was happy with Pulte until I moved in and found these problems. Pulte should provide true information to customers especially when it can have big impact on customers’ decision. Also, Pulte does not provide spared tiles and paints to home owners. Horrific finishes and poor communication. Was told to trust the process and left with the job incomplete.

We've called and left multiple voicemails about issues with our brand new home and no one seems to care. All that mattered was getting the house finished by the end of the year. The closer you look at the details, the less impressed I am with the house. I don't think I'd buy another Pulte house.

You need to rethink your process to assign labor to some tasks. IF you offer a house with a special door for example, it cannot be the same labor as it is usually assigned. It needs to have specialized professionals to avoid replace the door , costing money and also causing unnecessary headache for everyone.

Purchasing a new home from Pulte has been an extraordinary experience. Our Sales agent and construction manager were an amazing team to work with. From choosing our lot, applying upgrades, reviewing the progress of our home construction, our sales agent and construction manager were always there with all the answers to our questions and to address any issues that came along the way. The process of purchasing a new home from Pulte was made easy by the Pulte team. We love the design of our new home. I would recommend purchasing a new home form Pulte to anyone looking for a new home.

Overall I love my new home. The home is well constructed. There were some items that needed to be repaired but the Manager responsible for handling these items was very responsive in getting these items resolved.

Great customer focus, and attention to details

I have entirely too much negative feedback to share but let’s just leave it there - i’ve lived in the house almost 4 months and they are still coming in and out of my home to fix things that should have been done before we closed.

The wood used looks very cheap The quality of materials should have been better

House was not complete upon move in like it was supposed to be. Been like pulling teeth trying to get things corrected as they were supposed to be before closing. Yard has been under water for over a month.

Beautiful community

Working with the Pulte Group from sales to their Mortgage Department, design and the building of our new home has exceeded all our expectations. I would highly recommend them.

We've been in the house for about 2 months and have had a few issues which Pulte has addressed in a timely fashion thus far. I am interested to see give a longer time period how things shake out.

The quality of the material used is a very low grade. No proper insulation, even the noise of TV can be heard by the neighbors. Quality of the wood floors are terrible, with a small contact they get scratched, tiles in the bathroom are loose, crack on the wall.

Ensure all physical issues are resolved before closing. After closing, you have to go through warranty (who is very responsive).

We have lived in our new home since December. There were pros and cons to building with a production builder, like Pulte. We found the process to be simple overall and seamless from when we signed our first papers to our closing. We used Pulte mortgage, which I think helped keep the process simple for us. Communication was very open, and we felt we were able to easily speak to someone when we needed too. Chuck & Dj were very helpful and addressed our concerns to the best of their ability in a timely manner throughout the process. We felt that the final touches at the end of our build were very rushed to meet our closing deadline. Multiple trades were in the home at the same time and we felt that the order in which things were done was backwards at times. Our flooring and carpets were installed before all the drywall and painting was completed. I am still picking drywall and paint out of my brand new carpets. We had to ask them to clean multiple stains off of the carpet due to workers entering the home with muddy boots on and walking throughout the house. The carpet itself is not the best quality, but will serve its purpose. The cleanliness of the home during the entire build process was terrible. There was garbage left all around inside the house and outside on the property. Workers left behind their empty soda bottles, McDonald's cups, empty chip bags, ect. We complained more than once during the process and the house was picked up, but only after we complained. I feel the size of the home is appropriate for the price we paid, but the quality of some of the work is not. Our drywall and paint looks rough in multiple places already and spots they "fixed" right before closing are already showing again. The entire house was painted with flat paint and is easily chipped or stained if you touch it at all. The entire house has to be painted all one color...you cannot choose different colors for different rooms. Overall we are pleased with the house and we do feel like our contractors put forth extra effort a few times to help satisfy our expectations. ... More

I base this review only off of our personal experience. We have talked to other people who had a positive experience with their homes. We however have not. Things that we have experienced: Construction delays (installed the wrong color of cabinets, smoke detectors did not work properly and were not identified until the day of closing), poor build quality for what we paid for the house, problems that were identified well ahead of closing that were not fixed and still haven't been fixed after two months of living in our home. Hopefully soon on that though though. After living in our home for almost 2 months, I would have a very hard time recommending Pulte to anyone I know. ... More

For my particular development, the experience overall was great. From initial contact with the Sales Consultant to working with the Field Manager, every issue was addressed in a timely manner and very few "mistakes" were made by the third-party contractors during the build. I have noticed some issues inside after the build, but Pulte addressed them quickly and as others develop they will be covered under the warranties. For my first ever build, I don't think I could be happier.
