Worst experience ever

I already left a detailed experience review. Somebody was supposed to follow up, she called me once at the wrong time I scheduled a call with her at a good time for me, she never called at the schedule time and instead called two weeks later at the time I was at work again, I took her phone number to call her back. Called this person 3 times, left 3 voice messages to call me back. Never heard back from her. This sums up pretty much everything. Pulte is the worst builder, worst customer service and worst mortgage service!

Would never purchase with this builder again

They only started to be upfront after surveys were given. We were told originally that our building would be completed in about 8-10 months. It took almost 2 years. The only updates we received were when we reached out. The construction manager (second one that replaced the first one that left the company) was upfront and transparent initially but didn’t correct all the issues brought up at the walk through. Multiple issues with internet (took three weeks because of smashed pipes and needed an electrician that was never provided), tons of cosmetic issues (like an upside down stair rail), ...

Not happy with the quality of construction

During the final walkthrough there were more 60+ issues which were promised to be fixed before closing , but all issues were not fixed. Now I am requesting everyday the warranty guys and construction manager to create work orders who are not reponsive. Warranty team respond saying that issues will be fixed at build to year, which means the issues found during closing have to wait an year to get fixed. This is a very bad customer experience and making me feel not a trustworthy builder.

Not sure where to begin, because there is so much to say. First, Pulte does a great job of having decent sales representatives and after that it is a steep decline in all other aspects of the home build. The design consultants are horrible, lazy, rude, and pretty much incapable of doing the basic aspects of their job. We never asked for their design opinion and I'm glad we didn't, because I could only imagine how bad our home would have turned out (probably even more in cost than we already paid as well). Purchased a home with this company and honestly nothing but issues. They come and fix but it takes time/only available on weekdays and just an overall pain to deal. They also didn’t march the model home entirely and weren’t very helpful with much after the sale, don’t recommend

Don’t fall for Pulte’s Quality inspection

Regrettable experience. Moved in 2 months ago and still have a laundry list of items they need to fix. Construction managers have no experience and hired trades don’t care about the quality of their work.

Quality sucks. No one wants to help fix things after home is built. Loan company did not even want me in the house. Warranty guy is like trying to find Waldo in those kids books. Nothing is what you expect. I hope someone can help me feel more confident in pulte after this review

We have built 4 houses in Fl ad this has been the worst one. They do not care about anything but a sale. Our whole second floor is not level, poor quality material and craftsmanship. Check on the work every week for they try to hide everything they can.

Poor Customer Service!

Let me start by saying on Pulte Group’s Built to Honor website they brag about how much they take care of veterans and yet I have 30 years of honorable service. My Sales Agent never explained the contract. Never told me once the frame is on the house I get no options. This house was supposed to be my retirement home after 30 years of military service and 4 deployments. The service we have received after we closed and PAID for the home has been terrible, actually it has been nonexistent.

No one should close and pay for their Pulte home until all the open issues noted during the final walk through the week before the closing have been completed.

Overall, the quality of the home, design and workmanship is poor. The attention to detail is very low. Looks like the home is built quickly and the builder doesn't pay attention to details. Extreme disappointment with the sales process, lack of communication and poor quality of the construction especially given the price point for this house. It's as if they picked up workers off the streets and taught them how to use a hammer and a paint brush. We would have never built with Pulte had we known what a poor quality home they would build for us. We basically had to be onsite every day to catch mistakes that were being made. We built a home with no basement and the plumbing was not coming out of the floor in the correct places. The main supply for water into the house was in a storage closet doorway that we had to tell them to move and also later on discovering toilets not centered. We bought in the very first month of releases, but when it came time to lock in the color of the home, our salesman told us our color choice was restricted because he allowed people who the month after us to pick first. Do Not Trust Pulte Builders

Not a trustworthy company to buy a house. They change the words just like that. Until you sign the contract sales rep will haunt you. Once you sign the contract and pay the 5%, that’s it. Their real colors will come out. For a first time home buyer, this is not the company to choose for. I would say I had the worst experience with Pulte. Initially i thought it’s just me, then when I spoke to my Neighbour’s and friends who bought homes with Pulte, they echoed the same as I did. Bad bad bad experience..that’s all I can say
