Let me start by saying on Pulte Group’s Built to Honor website they brag about how much they take care of veterans and yet I have 30 years of honorable service. My Sales Agent never explained the contract. Never told me once the frame is on the house I get no options. This house was supposed to be my retirement home after 30 years of military service and 4 deployments. Thought I would have options buying new construction and my Sales Agent never explained any options and said that I never came back to her office to go over the contract…well I’m active duty Army and assigned to Hawaii and ...

The service we have received after we closed and PAID for the home has been terrible, actually it has been nonexistent.

No one should close and pay for their Pulte home until all the open issues noted during the final walk through the week before the closing have been completed.

Overall, the quality of the home, design and workmanship is poor. The attention to detail is very low. Looks like the home is built quickly and the builder doesn't pay attention to details. The roof was leaking in garage. The interior paint job was poor and still remains unfinished. The carpet flooring was not right and loose areas in the home. Garage floor is not finished. Some plumbing issues were noticed in the house. The sway on the sides of the homes is not right and there is water logging on both sides. We would have never built with Pulte had we known what a poor quality home they would build for us. We basically had to be onsite every day to catch mistakes that were being made. We built a home with no basement and the plumbing was not coming out of the floor in the correct places. The main supply for water into the house was in a storage closet doorway that we had to tell them to move and also later on discovering toilets not centered. This all had to be corrected by breaking up the concrete and re-centering pipes. The electric wiring was also an issue. The pendant lights over the kitchen ...

I know there are many different groups involved in building the home, and giving a really bad review may be unfair to some of them, but I just have to do it to bring attention to how Pulte treat you once you completed the transaction. We purchased the hardware through them, and they weren't installed at the time we signed the paperwork. Poor Customer Servic and Brand

Pulte should be ashamed charging what they charge for the poor quality of work, costs and lack of accountability and follow-up. We paid over 600k for our home to have mismatch floor grout in the bathrooms, paints dripping marks and unpaired window sills, a huge error in dry wall in our ceiling and I could go on and on. I have literally told all my friends and family members to spread the word…DON’T BUY a Pulte home!!! If you do expect poor craftsmanship and paying over priced for the poor quality and lack of customer service!!!!

Closed two months ago and still unable to move into home

The house is a mess. We were forced to close over two months ago and we still can't move in. There are two bedrooms still without carpeting, there is carpentry still to be done, along with drywall repair and extensive painting still needed. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Stay away from Pulte.

Absolutely the worst home buying experience i have ever been a part of. Was mislead throughout the entire process. It was like a bait and switch scheme throughout the process. Was lead to believe my home would have items like keyless locks, garage floor epoxy, pendent lighting to name a few. When I got to the house after closing none of that was present. Horrible experience with Pulte

From the start to finish Pulte dragged us along. We had essentially 3 different closing dates and each time we tried to close there were significant problems with the townhome. The quality of the home is very poor compared to the pricing of the townhomes. They clearly rushed through the build and placed cheap hardware / fixtures inside. The construction team communicated horribly. Sales team consultant was the only one who gave us honest answers. I would not recommend Pulte to anyone and I will never use them again.

Pulte build very poor qualities houses, cut conners in labors and materials, and very bad warrantee service

Pulte used cheap broken or bended wood (worse than the piece from trash can), and use bended metals all over the house (I have a lot of pictures), the distances between wood and metal frames are so far away, the house at most can last for only 10 years and the kitchen cabinets may fall off any day because there were very a few supporting wood and a few small nails put on. The construction area is constantly a mess. There is garbage thrown every where. The workers do not seem to care that there are people who have moved in and it is now a private residence. Even though this was brought to the attention of the Sales office NOTHING is done about it. The warranty department is poor. The knowledge base of the warranty department is extremely poor.

Unfortunately, I ignored the bad reviews I saw and I regret that now. From the sales process, to the building/construction process, to now my experience post-closing has been terrible. Given how much I paid for this home, the quality is not there and they know it and just don't care. When you point things out, they minimize them and act like it's completely normal to move into a brand new house with defects - or just ignore you. Our new home was built to a very poor level of quality. It looks like they used bargain bin/defective sheetrock and trim throughout. Cheapest possible appliances, carpet, cabinets, and paint. Wish I had gone with a different builder.

Why did Pulte require me a disabled retired veteran to pay 17k dollars down payment to start my contract to build my home. My credit scores were above 800 during the buying process. Also Pulte only offered a 30 day closing option just to wait for the interest rate to rise.

Pulte homes is overpriced for the quality of materials they produce. From the faucets to the flooring it’s all very cheap. Downstairs was mixed with carpet and tile for the standard build they ran tile @ the front door (foyer)and then just laid one piece of carpet in front of the stairs and went back to tile for the kitchen and dining area and back to carpet again for the “living room” which isn’t a living room it looked horrible.
