From day 1 it was poor craftsmanship and service. Literally not happy with any portion of this process. At this point I only view the structure (don't even feel comfortable calling it home) as an investment.

It was difficult deciding what title to give this review. Not for a lack of options, but because we had a hard time identifying which horrible detail stood out to us the most. The initial sales agent was wonderful but that's as far as it went. From that point onward, it was nothing but deceit, issues, and overall shoddy workmanship. Pulte Sales misled me early on, costing me thousands of dollars. Low quality standards evidenced inside and outside of house. Contractors show no pride in their work, or interest in doing a good quality job. Pulte construction shows no interest in quality. They are incented to put the house up as fast as possible so Pulte can collect your money ASAP!!!

The entire experience was awful. The title company was awful, the y process was terrible and there was rarely communication, the warranty department doesn’t respond to my emails. Workers don’t show up when they’re supposed to. I had a better experience with Lennar and that’s saying a lot

I closed on my home at the end of Feb 2022, and I still have outstanding items that have not been completed. These were detected in January of 2022. Sad that Pulte rushes to sell home that are not complete and with such poor workmanship. Field managers are over worked and when fix is needed they resort to threats to the homeowner.

I signed my contract to build my house with Pulte on November 23, 2020. The building permit was granted on around March 2021 due to County backlog. But the house did not completed until 2/28/2022, almost a year later. What was really bothered me that my house build permit was granted 3 or 4 month before other houses in the block. But it did not get windows before other houses. I got the weekly update from the building manager stated that the widow order was delayed due to nation labor shortages. I know that was not true because other houses that was built later received their widows before ...

The house its build with cheap materials and there is no engineer building your house, the people who build it they dont know how to read drawings at all. Turns to be that your Libe of property its different because when they install the sod and sprinklers they installed all wrong., you dont want to close until they finish your house right but they force you to do it or they will sell your house to another person, they only want your Money. It has been the worst experience of purchasing a new home ever. Had to get an attorney involved when we were told we did not qualify. Then the workers were told do not fix anything because our home was going to be sold as is. The appliances look like they are second hand they are so bad. Custom cabinets look awful. The whole house was painted with some sort of flat paint (I believe it may be primer). As we were told they could not get paint. This has been a nightmare from day one. We are a young family moving to tampa from Orlando and were sold a house with an approximate closing date of 8/2021. We forgave many other better products because of this said closing date. Pulte off the back told us we were pushed back to 12/2021 and then later to 2/2022. Bad service and very poor work man ship

It’s been very bad experience, in terms of communication and response. And new house has so many problems ,Including faulty equipment and it’s hard to get hold of people to get issues fixed. And closing has been delayed for months . And after waiting for Months and overpaying interests we still have to face issues like low water pressure and dishwasher, oven not working , electrical issues which cause inconvenience consistently in every day life.

From the time we signed the earnest money contract, we were rushed, pushed to make design decisions and then pushed at the design center. The sales agent was useless and impolite. We learned that the design center was incompetent and it took days of wasted effort to get things right (although they managed to still install the wrong countertops TWICE). The workmanship on the house was extremely shoddy. Holes in the floor, damaged drywall hidden behind cabinets, scratches and scuffs, crooked shower heads ... I could go on and on - and oh - not a square light switch or outlet in the whole ...

Everyone from the builder to the lender does NOT know what they are doing. They have NO communication with each other nor the client. Very stressful experience. Do NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

The experience is not what I thought it would be. With over fifty items still to complete, they force you to close or they will sell your home to someone else. I am still waiting on every type of trade to come complete projects. There has not been any response at all from the warranty department and it has been almost two months. I know I am not the only one in this predicament.

The build quality is really bad. I had kitchen cabinets scratches, issues with engineering floor, interior door after house closing. The workers are lack of experience. I call the pulte customer care department ten times... I couldn't reach any people to talk with rather than leaving a voice message..

What was supposed to take 6 months ended up taking a year. Closing was rescheduled 6 times. It’s not so much the length of time that was bothersome, but the constant promises that were always broken. We’ve now been in our home for nearly 2 months and there are still things incomplete with the home that were addressed months before closing. Would never choose Pulte again, nor would I recommend it to anyone because of the experience we had.

Bad Experience after Pre-Drywall Meeting

We chose to build with Pulte because we had friends with a good experience and had never heard anything bad. However, based on this experience I can not recommend them. The process was very smooth up until we got to our pre-drywall meeting. Then things took a turn towards awful. Based on the recent reviews in my area that seems to be common. There is a huge issue with communication from the field manager here. It would take 2 or 3 messages to get a response. That "weekly" update email will come once a month.
