We looked at communities and different builders before buying an inventory home built by Pulte. We have people we know that are having MAJOR structural and other serious problems with the other builders. We had a third party home inspection done and our inspector said that our home was one of the best-wellbuilt-homes he had inspected. This gave us a great deal of comfort with our decision! We have NOT been disappointed!

The Pulte experience was outstanding.

Every room in the house has to be repaired. Tape marks, gouges in the walls, baseboard corners don’t match up. Caulking in sinks not completed correctly. All concerns have been reported and so far they will be addressed.

Pulte is a solid builder. You need to stay engaged and make sure communication is clear. Would be great if they would be reasonable with design center pricing and options. We did very little during the process and had to spend nearly 20% of the purchase price to get a nice home. Doing quite a bit of work after we moved in because it was not possible to do with pulte during construction.

Sales was awesome construction took the time to review plans and explain quality of what was built and though I have a few things that we have noticed now that we live in the home we are confident in the warranty team to take care of builder related issues.

It's obvious that Pulte rushed to complete with cracks appearing in less than a month in the basement in areas that are not engineered to crack. The magnitude of building building waste left on the garden is definitely a disappointment. Not providing a real solution for gutter drainage means that water washes top soil away, so adding in solutions to complete such a basic function as exterior water drainage to the nearby storm sewer is just a nuisance an what should be a basic water management add-in which would also reduce the risk of standing water around the basement. A smart decision on this from Pulte would reduce risk of basement leaks. They already installed a sump pump pipe to the storm drain, so using gravity from the gutter pipe straight to the storm drain would be better for the environment as less work would be needed by the sump pump to lift water back up and out again for maintaining a dry basement. ... It’s my second home I’m buying and I wish I would’ve known about Pulte from the get go. I will go through Pulte again for my next house again.

You expect builders to overcharge for upgrades however I have been disappointed in the lack of pride in the workmanship. I have many things that still need to be fixed such as painting touch ups inside and outside, wires that need to be properly pulled into the ceiling, concrete touch up on driveway, and the house is infested with ants (how does that happen on a brand new house?)

Construction and closing process when very well. We had a couple of minor issues that were taken care of quickly. Overall it was a great experience.

Very nice people, but a cumbersome process to get any warranty work completed. We have been waiting 6 weeks for touch-up paint.

The workmanship was standard and finish was under the standard. Trustworthiness was was ok. Value for the price was ok. Pulte did have some features that I liked. Responsiveness to issues was substandard. We had small issues that needed to be addressed but were never completed. Sad.

We’ve been in the house for nearly two months and our house still does not have the ability to have internet because Pulte did not coordinate properly with internet companies to make sure our house was serviceable

We love our home, I should start with that. We are so happy with the location, lot, and upgrades that we chose. The floorplan is perfect for our growing family. However, we had many issues along the way. Our PM was difficult to deal with and did not want to help us with problems that his contractors caused (hole cut in the ceiling, cafe light installed in the wrong spot). This led to a lack of trust and shaken confidence in Pulte and our PM. Thankfully, everything turned out alright after we had to fight for these issues to be resolved.

Dustin and Linda were outstanding. The home was not presented in an appropriate way however from a cleaning standpoint. The cleaners did a very poor job. There also seem to be issues with chunks of dirt or who knows what not being cleaned before carpet was laid so there are lumps all over the floors that have carpet.

From start to finish this was a great home buying experience. The sale was simple, design team was patient, and the build was delivered on time. We understand that there are little hiccups along the way, but the project was handled well by JT our project manager. There were a few issues with our tile work (custom shower mostly) that took longer to figure out and a few back and fourth conversations that felt unnecessary. The shooter is still not perfect and if I had to do it again, I would have hired someone myself to do the custom work. Don't get me wrong, we love our home, but we've spent weeks having to touch up the details in our home ourselves because the painting was shoddy and the cabinets looked thrown up in a hurry with visible gaps everywhere. Plenty of nice aspects to the home, too, but we constantly had to stay on top of the builders to do good work and fix mistakes.

We were pleased with initial construction but concerns after closing have been difficult to get resolved. Has required multiple requests, multiple follow ups, multiple submissions of texts, emails & Pulte website service forms, promises to get back to us in two business days but receive no response.

Construction was adequate and of an average quality. Common sense items in construction are overlooked and cannot be corrected as NO alterations are allowed. Consistency of construction from one unit to another is missing. Many items are not disclosed or glossed over. Numerous items and options in the model homes bear little resemblance to what is actually built and no answers for the differences are provided. Attention to details, particularly in finish work and cleaning seemed to be lacking.

It was a pleasure dealing with Pulte. It was a one stop shop. They provided me with mortgage, insurance and title. I didn't have to go crazy looking for everything. The home is beautiful and whatever issues I had after closing they are very quick to correct.

We tried to bail out at closing but was talked into it by the Pulte MORG people They were great. Jenny has been 0 helpful we are on our third iteration of drying to get our walls even remotely able to live in. She has zero followup and we are made to fill like we are just a pain. She has asked us not to fill this out this questionnaire because she is bonused on this but after on 1 month inspection and her not following up to see our thought on the two days of labor. Hightlights After we had problems with closing we were told that Will was going to reach out to us and be involved. I got one quick visit nothing else. Jenny will come out as long as it is on her time! She gave us very little instruction on the house. She never ordered the Bar Fridge door not the Microwave door after agreeing to they were flawed. We have had to take off 3 days for work to be done and that work has a ton of flaws. We have asked for paint and still have only received the exterior. I could go on and on! We have felt insignificant at the very least and more excuses the Doan's has pills. We fill we will have 100% repercussions for this bad survey. With that being said I am not sure if that can be worse that we actually have had done to us. Social Media is where we go from here! ... More
