Very difficult to get a hold of someone to fix issues under warranty

We had a very nice experience in buying the home which Pulte built. It is a great builder and we are very happy with the entire experience.

Everyone was responsive to my concerns

Our communication with the building team was quite good, everything was explained fully and completely, questions were answered with clarity and detail. They were also friendly and helpful.

The quality of the house was disappointing. Uneven flooring, walls not straight or levels and the siding is not straight and has many bulges

make sure that final punch is done at least one week in advance of your closing date.

I have a suggestion for pulte when working w seniors. I think they could give more support to senior house buyers that are not as experienced as young ones on the internet. This issue came up for me and my husband often during the mortgage phase of this experience.

Very pleased with Pulte employees we worked with along the way. Thank you Josh & Ron. Only complaint would be that the home design has a number of wasted spaces that are behind walls that could be utilized much better and more effective for the price.

The overall experience was positive and we are very happy with the home. There were a few minor problems along the way but they were responsive and corrected those timely. I think the house was a bit overpriced in the neighborhood but it was a seller's market and we got top dollar for our old house as well so you cannot have it both ways (sell high, buy low). The cleaning prior to move in left a little to be desired. There were (and still are) pencil marks on the floor from the carpenters and we are still cleaning those as we find them. The house that I am in is amazing!!! The experience from the moment I entered to the sales office to the house delivery has been great. The quality checks and the processes Pulte uses to build their homes are very rigorous ensuring that everything is up to code standards and beyond. My house has a very versatile floorplan, designed to live in it. Pulte certainly has designed their houses in such a way that they reflect the current lifestyles and historic moment. I love it here. It is a great buy.

It was the first time to purchase new home for me so there are several unknows and concerns. Long story short, at the end my family and I are fully satisfied with support & service of Pulte team and quality of house.

Totally satisfied with the process and the product. Mark and Mark (sales and construction) are knowledgeable and receptive to any and all questions or concerns.

Pulte built a beautiful house. Some issues but overall cosmetic. Very pleased.

Pulte Homes has our trust and the quality is the best. We were kept in the know throughput the build process and closing was perfect.

Our Pulte home build exceeded our expectations. Not only did they make our timing work, but they were always fast to communicate and kept us informed every step of the way. Our home is beautiful and the craftsmanship is at a high level because of it. Our building manager, Wally, was incredible to work with.

Pulte has a cookie cutter approach to home building and they don't deviate from the pattern. The good news is continuous improvement by doing the same thing better. The bad news is lack of flexible in design by the homeowner. From my viewpoint, I am willing to give up flexibility for tried and true quality. I am very happy with the quality build of the house.

Anyone building with Pulte better hope they get a great supervisor as we did. He ensured the subcontractors build everything to plan, and most importantly the correct way.

I searched the web for reviews on Pulte before signing my contract and most were pretty bad reviews. Unfortunately for me, I moved forward with the purchase and here I am, adding to the bad reviews. I should have known better and I'll be kicking myself for a long time. Overall, the subcontractors performed subpar work and all their work went unsupervised by the Pulte field manager. The field manager told me during and after construction that he was too busy to supervise and quality control the subcontractors. That's great news for a new homeowner. (The cheapest subs Pulte can find are building my house with no supervision) I believe the field manager because I saw the poor workmanship for myself and really felt it after I moved in and uncovered multiple problems. I have been in my home for 6-weeks now and still can't take a shower in my master bath due to poor workmanship. My issues were not specific to me, 3 out of 4 of my neighbors had a major issue immediately after taking possession of the home. Overall, real bad experience but you will probably have the same experience with any national builder. If you want a quality home, build a custom home. ... More
