Incompetent and Disappointing - Would Not Buy From Again - But Neighborhood is Pretty

The Landings at New Riverside is pretty - it has no golf course to pay for (a plus), and a great color scheme as to the houses. We decided to purchase a Quick Move In option. The sales person was friendly and prompt but everything else about the purchase process was terrible. Pulte made dozens of mistakes from sending emails to the wrong address (misspelled my email) to communication mistakes so bad you wonder if they were deliberate. Some upgrades we chose were poorly represented and we got things we didn’t like in the upgrade yet Pulte refuses to adjust them. After signing off the final walk through Pulte refuses to make final repairs as noted with blue tape during the walk even a month after we moved in. They also left dirt all over the house. House was built in a timely manner. The quality of workmanship of the trades they hire is Very Sub Par. Work is very poor quality and the Pulte Warranty Group's answer is what do you want me to because these are they workers we have and this is the quality of work they do. Pulte needs to set expectations that their trades do not provide quality work to let the home buyer know what to expect in the end so that the home buyer will know that they need to spend tens of thousands of additional dollars to make there home meet the expectations you would expect when getting a brand new home. If there is zero star I’ll give zero for almost everything. Courteous and sweet when they want to sell it but no response when you have issues and in less then a month many issues.

Our Pulte home was rushed to be completed and it shows in the workmanship and detail. After several walk thru appointments and issues discussed, nothing was corrected prior to closing. It’s taken months of meetings, missed appointments, emails to even have companies come in to correct issues, and they end up making it worse. The homes are not well supervised or managed. Absolutely terrible. After spending 1 night in my house we had our first, but not last, major water issue. I haven't even slept in my house for weeks because of the 2nd major water incident in which you knowingly installed a broken dishwasher which leaked and leaked into my kitchen island causing mold. I have major regrets working with Pulte and wish I had just bought an older house or gone with Taylor Morrison. Poor build quality: -received a flat tire from driving into my garage for the first time -swept up a cup full of nails and screws in the garage afterwards (Robert has a picture of part of this) -after removing the carpets, tons of screws and nails left under the foam padding -multiple windows are scratched on the outside (worst one has been replaced) -front patio fencing has a huge laceration/scratch in it; still awaiting replacement -multiple areas were patched in the garage but still doesn’t look correct -multiple scratches, dings and cracks in the drywall

Pulte wont help you in what ever situation you are. All they need is to complete with in the dead line unnecessary of what situation the homeowner is in. They make mistakes and you have to pay for it . In my case in they screwed up with the AC and they want me to pay for it.

i hate giving bad reviews because it may affect a business however in your case, you need to change rhe way you work desperately. Once we move in, nothing is fixed by the manager involved, which btw they keep changing every 6 months or so. Hardwoods are the worst, and no one comes to fix it, my neighbors have been sitting on their complaints since 1.5 yrs now. Long story short, the sales person salvatore was great, besides that everything was horrible

Pulte was horrible from start to finish. No communication. No honesty. No quality. Ignored several of our requests entirely. Messed up the few small changes we asked for. Delayed closing multiple times because the house wasn't done. Our inspector said it was one of the worst houses he'd ever seen. And that's not to mention the lack of landscaping or drainage. Nothing but regret for us.

Definitely not high standard compare to what you pay. Aims walls are not straight , and lots of thing you find out after final walk in. Poor quality. I highly would NOT recommend this builder. Paid for a home well over 400K$ and the home was not as expected. First, home has way too many issues with poor workmanship. We had been dealing with the company for over a month since we moved in with problems we encountered, but they took too long to address the issues.
