Lot price is a direct cash in their pocket. Other than that, the quality of building is great, they are generally responsive to any post sales work, although maintenance requests can take a bit longer. Overall, recommended!

This is the second house that have purchased from Pulte during the last 15 years. Pulte did a great job overall. Everything was straight forward. No complications, no hassles.

Absolutely everyone from the Pulte Sales Team to the Mortgage Team to the Insurance Team to the Homebuilder/warranties walk-thru were so wonderful! Absolutely love my new home at Preston Square!! The entire process was seamless and the build team led by Mark as amazing. Having been in my home for a few months, I have found it well worth the wait and it feels wonderful to come home daily.

We purchased a home this summer and our experience has been excellent. A super sales team, design group and a building team made it easy to buy Pulte.

Our sales consultant, site manager and customer care have all been great in our home buying process.

Overall the buying experience was great and the builder reps were very quick to get us in under our time restraint. In time I will be able to speak more on build quality and responsiveness to issues.

I had a great construction manager during the construction of my home, but once his survey was done and initial issues were remedied, I was given a second manager who took over. He did my 30 day inspection and took down all of our issues and havent seen or heard from him since. I will be reaching out to the old manager if i dont hear from this one soon.

Very good experience from the start. Very friendly people to work with. Closed on June 14 and waiting on a couple of punch list items. Could be more responsive in this area. Overall a very positive experience.

We started the paperwork for our new home on January 28, 2019. We also worked with two other mortgage companies for our loan. We where putting 50% down and financing 50% with the intentions of paying the house off in 5 years. We got home on February 5, 2019, which I spent 2 complete days getting all the information to all the mortgage companies for their underwriting companies. After 2 weeks we where pre-approved for the loan with the other 2 loan companies and our own bank. Pulte mortgage people we worked with where Sally and Sarah. They were really great and went the extra mile to help us. We just kept getting asked for more information because we are self-employed. Who do they think employees get their W-2's from. THERE EMPLOYERS LIKE US. We had 6 times the money in one account to pay for the home, but they treated us like we where high risk. We had to provide 4 years income tax papers, 6 month bank statements, proof that we where a real business. We provided them with 4 year of income tax papers for each business. It just seemed like every other day we had to send more documentation. Our Vice President in our bank here, that we deal with on a daily basis, said that they were doing unethical practices. We kept being told that we where approved for the loan in underwriting, and then the next day Sally would call me and ask me for more information. We where to do the walk through and close on the house, July 5, 2019. The day of July 3, 2019, we received a call from the head of the Pulte Mortgage and she told us not to come down for the walk through, the our loan was still in underwriting. Our salesman John, which by the was is a wonderful person and a very helpful, honest guy, told us to come down and do the walk through anyway. We did and our job supervisor wasn't there and we did the walk through with another Job Supervisor. He was great. There were several things that need to be taken care of, like we had ordered the upgrade kitchen cabinets that were wrong, cut in our wood flooring, nails in the wall, paint on floor and glass shower doors, fan in master bathroom the bearing in the motor where bad, fingerprints in the varnish on the special ordered front door. We went back 2 1/2 months later and some of the stuff wasn't done yet. We called our job supervisor and he assured us that he would take care of the matter. Then we get a call from our salesman 1 day after we get home, and he said that the job supervisor said we have to go through customer care to get things fixed. I has been a really bad experience with this home. We built our current home that we own debt free of 6,000 square ft., that we hired all our contractors with the exception of the things that we own business for, and we had a great time with it. It was such a joy, and the home that we built through Pulte was just on stress moment after another. If we had to recommend anything to you, I would NOT GO THOUGH PULTE to mortgage your home. I went with Pulte for everything - from the new home, to the mortgage, to my home owners’ insurance. It was a simple, seamless experience! I couldn’t be happier. Now..if only they would help me unpack my boxes! ;-)

We purchased our home in February, closed in July and moved in at the end of July of 2019. During construction, the house was always a total mess with garbage thrown everywhere and graffiti written on the slab. Prior to the house was not cleaned nor was it cleaned post-close. The issues that were noted on the walk-through were not addressed prior to move-in. We are now in the process (end of August) having the issues fixed. Our construction manager simply walked away and handed us off to customer service without completing the walk-through list.

Of the six homes that we have built over the years, this was by far our best experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality and excellent customer service.

The quality was very poor and the response of the issues reported is very worst. Totally not a worth one.

Experience with Pulte is pretty average. Some building materials feel cheap in comparison to our previous build. Obvious lack of craftsmanship and attention to detail by many of their vendors. Issues have been, or are being addressed, but they definitely drag their feet and some repairs were not completed as they should have been due to procrastination.

We bought our new home from Pulte and absolutely love it. That’s just right size and saves on energy. The manager construction so professionally to quick response any questions and helpful sale staff. We’re so amazed at the quality and value we have in our new home. I love recommending Pulte home to anyone I can!

Pulte Homes and their sales office were fantastic, along with their walk thru team. However, Pulte Mortgage was the worst company I have ever dealt with and would never do a loan through them again. As a Realtor and someone who has purchased many homes, I have never had a worst experience.

My problem started with Pulte during the constructions of the house July 2019. First the wrong flooring was installed and it took about a month with the back and forth before they admitted that the wrong flooring was installed. The AC vents in two rooms were covered by dry wall, I had to do multiple follow up before it was corrected. The repairs that we were promised during the initial walk through were not touched on the final walk through. We were promised that the repairs will take place after and it would be up to our satisfaction but forget about it. The workmanship the use is poor and cheap. I think I would have done a better job than what they provided. After moving in we had TWO CODES violation in the roof. One was related to the dryer air vent cap was not installed in the roof, so the hot air didn’t have a place to escape. This is a fire hazard and If my dryer didn’t have the technology to detect this issue I would have lost my house. The second issue, the were no air vent cap installed for the AC to help with getting rid of the hot air again another issue that caused high humidity in the house, which led to having Mold on my towels. The houses are not custom built but are mass produced using local labor with oversight from Pulte Managers. There are rigid construction practices and quality is acceptable but do not deviate.

It's difficult to thoughtfully rate our home buying experience in such a brief summarization. By far there are more positives than negatives. Building a home is a huge undertaking, and no matter how hard you plan, there will be things that go wrong. Unfortunately those are the things that stand out when asked in a rating like this. My advice, it's really important to be very detailed oriented and go over each step with a fine-tooth comb, and then go over it again. And no matter how much you think you have costs covered, it's going to cost more. We knew that was how it would be, and we planned for it. This is my first purchase but I am no stranger to the process since I have been with many family members during there purchases. I have to say that my overall experience was excellent! Nobody is perfect so if your looking for no hiccups along the road your dreaming. My sales lady Carol was absolutely amazing and 100% responsible for me purchasing a Pulte Home. Alex my builder manager on site was responsive and kind even when I was picky about every little thing. The finance department although very frustrating at times did a good job since I have heard horror stories about other finance companies and people’s experience. If you pay close attention and have all your paperwork in order Pulte mortgage is just fine. The overall quality of Pulte’s homes is excellent. They are a typical builder building as many homes as possible which means technique and attention to detail sometimes slip but they are the best I have seen and making sure things are clean and looking perfect for you move in. I will definitely be recommending and purchasing a Pulte home again in my lifetime! ... More
