I saw the same house with more upgrades at a better price ..

Despite punch list items being agreed the follow up has been slow. If they are waiting to finish all the house construction before they attend to these items then I am fine with that but please inform your customers. Frustration is born from unmet expectations

I love my home and the area I’m in, I am a very understanding person but just need to get the little things taken care of in a more urgent manner.

Workmanship and materials are not up to par. So many things wrong with a “new house” and trying to get things done right and fixed is like pulling teeth. It’s a never ending process with the contractors who really don’t care now that the house is closed.

We built a new home in the Brookfield subdivision and seeing leaks in the basement from day 1. My basement floor stays wet even after running dehumidifier continuously and my insulation on two sides is completely wet! I reported this issue multiple times thru their warranty portal but they have not done anything regarding this issue. Also there were multiple items that we were told that will be completed after closing, field manager opened up all the work orders on the closing date, but even after almost 9 weeks, all of those items are outstanding. We are missing 4 window screens, one bedroom door needs to be changed, hand rails is not stained, etc. Another annoying thing to Pulte is their sod quality is so bad! The brand new sod that they placed(they have only done half yard!) is growing only weed and have some kind of disease which is showing all kinds of brown patches. This is not just me but most of the new homes who received new sod in last 6 months are having the EXACT same issue! They are really bad with after closing items! Make sure everything is done before you close otherwise you are stuck in the limbo for god knows how long. ... More

Just recently moved from CA to AZ and was able to manage the whole process from CA. Ron Rolfes was great at communicating and sending photos. He responded to all calls in a timely manner and address any issues we had right away.

I was so excited to build with Pulte as we had purchased a model home from them three years ago. We had picked out the perfect lot and did over $100k in upgrades too! I had expected a few bumps in the road but not as many as we went through. To give you an idea we were supposed to close in December (we signed in June of 2018) and well we had about 5 closing dates and finally closed the end of June 2019. The quality of the home is poor and the craftsmanship is a joke. No one cares. It all went down hill after I went to look at the house and see that at the door of my walkout basement sat a pile of broken Concreate. We I walked in the plumbers were there jack hammering all the areas of the floor where any plumbing was. Apparently it didn’t pass inspection but Pulte poured the floor anyways. When I called anyone and everyone not a soul knew what was going on. It took The GM of sales a couple of hours to try and figure it out. He did and he had to tell us what happened. The bottoms of all my doors in the house are damaged and I was told “it’s the bottom of the door”, basically just deal with it. My hardwood floors all had specs of paint and drywall dust within the cracks that I had to clean off because the cleaners are a joke. We were told no water on your floors and no chemicals and I walked into my house prior to closing and it looked like the cleaners dumped water on it and they used chemicals on it. When I told someone the response was “they didn’t use chemicals”...I seen what they put in the bucket. I have a 7 ft retaining wall that wasn’t in my contract because no one listened to us when we told them “hey, you don’t have enough dirt it’s going to drop”. They poured the driveway and oh gee we were right. Anytime we had shown them anything as simple as adding more caulk around the windows we got “it’s Pulte standard” and wouldn’t go above and beyond to please us. We are moved in and now dealing with the property pins. Our back yard is t a perfect square in the way that they graded it and put sod down, it’s pie shaped. When we told Pulte’s field manager the response was “ it’s close enough”. Close enough to me is ok if it within a couple of feet but not when it’s about 30-40 feet. Here’s the kicker, when we signed I was told by every person including the General Sales manager that for every 3 homes that are sold the base price of the homes will go up $1,000. It did once and just after we closed the base price of all homes dropped $25,000! So, would I ever recommend them?? Probably not. ... More

Could I have saved some money and had better materials if I purchased an older home and remodeled it? Yes. Did I want to live through that year long experience with 2 small kids? Absolutely not. You are overpaying for some of the convenience with any of the large builders and they need to make a profit with the materials - just know that going into the experience. Everyone at Pulte was responsive and great to work with during the entire process.

I'm a contractor up north and can appreciate quality work when I see it. And my new pulte home fits that requirement

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house-it just did not feel like it was cleaned after the work was completed. The front entryway and garage were stained with footmarks and junk.

We appreciate the attention to detail and the overall good quality of the home. From the sales rep Barbara to the Contractor Steve the service provided was excellent! We would recommend Pulte Homes to others in the future. As time goes on we look forward to receiving excellent service throughout our home ownership.

This is our second pulse home. The quality of the end product is significantly less the second time around. Examples. There are fifty pieces of tape locating blemishes in the paint. There is one tile in the master bath with a different color of grout. The attention to detail just isn’t there.

4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

There were many things that could have been done better in the home. It was not cleaned before we moved in. The cabinets don't work in the kitchen. The pendent light fixtures are not wired correctly. We had to purchase new outlet covers because they were broken.

Pulte was wonderful. No project is without hiccups, but they were handled properly, and in a timely manner. I love our new home so much!

Biggest mistake I ever made, was buying from Pulte. Workmanship is terrible. Warranty issues brought to attention months ago still have not been addressed. If you are buying from Pulte, be sure to get a 3rd party inspection prior to close, and refuse to close until every deficiency is addressed.

This is the second time for me to buy a new home(previous one was from Bezer). Pulte hired non-professional workman and did a terrible job and the quality control is also not in place. The workmanship is totally worse than a DYI. Even the house was closed, the house still needs a lot of work. If I can upload photos, I surely will present them. To buy a new home from Pulte actually buys yourself frustration, I am still dealing with Pulte.

1) Not happy with the quality of upgrades such as base boards, doors, Faucets, flooring. Quality is missing, drywall etc....no quality check done. 2) No supervision of work, customer has to identify and point out issues. 3) Walk through during every stage of home construction is superficial. 4) Paid for water softener hookup ~$800. I was told that whole house will have softener. After moving in found that kitchen faucet and refrigerator do not have it and that was not communicated to us during the option selection which would have helped us to make the decision. Now we have to pay additional $1000 to water softener guys to change the plumbing. 5) Bathroom all faucets leaking under the cabinets, builder is not obliging...they say there is no leaks even after they saw the leaks. I'm investigating further and will make sure builder is accountable and does not repeat this kind of business operation to other customers. Investigating myself with the professional to make sure my ask is accurate. 6) We have upgraded all our toilets to higher toilets. during inspection found that they do not follow through on the upgrade, I had to point it out to superintended, they acknowledged the mistake and changed the toilets again. This clearly shows flaws in their operations. 7) I look for perfection not look for issues. but I found in every step in the process, we were pushed but no proper service rendered. 8) I can name few people who did their best to cater to customer services: 1) Angie - Good sales person and very responsive. 5 star for her service 2) Shane - Superintended, excellent in getting the fixes done. 4 star 3) Daniel - Jr superintended, excellent in customer experience. 4 star 4) Trevor - Pulte mortgage. I believe Pulte Homes is struggling with a skilled trades labor pool, as well as sufficient job site supervision. While there are a number of things that are flawless with our home, there are also a number of things that continue to be issues that should have been addressed. Pulte Homes presented themselves as craftsman that could provide an upscale home backed by a national brand. When push came to shove, the real answer, from their own mouths, is that they are just a production builder. If you are the type of customer that expects great attention to detail, you will need to be incredibly involved in the build process. Much more than you might believe is necessary, unfortunately. My ratings reflect a mediocre experience. I would caution a friend to be careful, but I also would not tell them to run away. If you decide to work with this builder, take exceptional notes, and make sure to document the agreed-upon actions via email. ... More

Bought home is a large gated community. It has natural preserve area but missing walking trail or play ground for kids. The upgrades were very expensive and had limited options.

Overall, the workmanship and materials are among the top quality, the value for the price is good. So far, the responsiveness to issues has been prompt.
