Of the six homes that we have built over the years, this was by far our best experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality and excellent customer service.

The quality was very poor and the response of the issues reported is very worst. Totally not a worth one.

Experience with Pulte is pretty average. Some building materials feel cheap in comparison to our previous build. Obvious lack of craftsmanship and attention to detail by many of their vendors. Issues have been, or are being addressed, but they definitely drag their feet and some repairs were not completed as they should have been due to procrastination.

We bought our new home from Pulte and absolutely love it. That’s just right size and saves on energy. The manager construction so professionally to quick response any questions and helpful sale staff. We’re so amazed at the quality and value we have in our new home. I love recommending Pulte home to anyone I can!

Pulte Homes and their sales office were fantastic, along with their walk thru team. However, Pulte Mortgage was the worst company I have ever dealt with and would never do a loan through them again. As a Realtor and someone who has purchased many homes, I have never had a worst experience.

My problem started with Pulte during the constructions of the house July 2019. First the wrong flooring was installed and it took about a month with the back and forth before they admitted that the wrong flooring was installed. The AC vents in two rooms were covered by dry wall, I had to do multiple follow up before it was corrected. The repairs that we were promised during the initial walk through were not touched on the final walk through. We were promised that the repairs will take place after and it would be up to our satisfaction but forget about it. The workmanship the use is poor and cheap. I think I would have done a better job than what they provided. After moving in we had TWO CODES violation in the roof. One was related to the dryer air vent cap was not installed in the roof, so the hot air didn’t have a place to escape. This is a fire hazard and If my dryer didn’t have the technology to detect this issue I would have lost my house. The second issue, the were no air vent cap installed for the AC to help with getting rid of the hot air again another issue that caused high humidity in the house, which led to having Mold on my towels. The houses are not custom built but are mass produced using local labor with oversight from Pulte Managers. There are rigid construction practices and quality is acceptable but do not deviate.

It's difficult to thoughtfully rate our home buying experience in such a brief summarization. By far there are more positives than negatives. Building a home is a huge undertaking, and no matter how hard you plan, there will be things that go wrong. Unfortunately those are the things that stand out when asked in a rating like this. My advice, it's really important to be very detailed oriented and go over each step with a fine-tooth comb, and then go over it again. And no matter how much you think you have costs covered, it's going to cost more. We knew that was how it would be, and we planned for it. This is my first purchase but I am no stranger to the process since I have been with many family members during there purchases. I have to say that my overall experience was excellent! Nobody is perfect so if your looking for no hiccups along the road your dreaming. My sales lady Carol was absolutely amazing and 100% responsible for me purchasing a Pulte Home. Alex my builder manager on site was responsive and kind even when I was picky about every little thing. The finance department although very frustrating at times did a good job since I have heard horror stories about other finance companies and people’s experience. If you pay close attention and have all your paperwork in order Pulte mortgage is just fine. The overall quality of Pulte’s homes is excellent. They are a typical builder building as many homes as possible which means technique and attention to detail sometimes slip but they are the best I have seen and making sure things are clean and looking perfect for you move in. So far responsive from con contractor has been great

Initial sales process very smooth and efficient. Home finish details poor. Very difficult to get issues corrected after the sale. Craftsmanship lacking on fit and finish.

Never fully completed home after continued promises . Always had excuses because of it’s this contractors fault it’s that contractors fault. That shouldn’t be my problem as a home buyer. And I shouldn’t have to make 1000 phones calls to get it fixed after a problem has already been noted multiple times. Multipurpose things also had to be fixed or change because they were not what was selected at design center .

Not very impressed

Contracted working crew does not clean up area after working each day. I found 17 loose nails left around working area. Luckily my vehicle did not suffer a tire flat, however a neighbor did.

Poor process in working with new homeowners to assist in the orientation of all the aspects of a new home. We have some early issues and it's difficult to get answers and assistance.

A week into moving into our new home I discovered a leak in my front window which has pieces of drywall falling as well as water marks on the wall underneath. Days later I had a new leak in my roof which came through my master bath as well as my kitchen ceiling. I have been reaching out to the warranty company for 3 1/2 weeks now to get my “roof inspection report” and get my home fixed. In addition, I am still waiting for repairs from pre closing to be completed and I continue to watch my sod die. I love my home but these past 6 weeks have been extremely frustrating.

My personal experience with Pulte homes have been good. There have been a few challenges midway but it eventually ended well. The house was delivered as committed. The overall quality is good but can definitly improve on some final finishing details. However the response from sales and field team was very prompt.

Upon purchasing my home I was told about several walk through processes that would happen to ensure my satisfaction with the house. None of those meetings have been accomplished, and when multiple issues arrived including drainage issues and flooding the company was not available to speak on important foundational issues. I feel as though I was offered the moon and the stars at closing, and none of that has come into fruition. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing process. I would appreciate it if somebody would call to address my concerns since I have been unable to get anyone to address the concerns that many of my fellow neighbors have also been unable to get addressed ... We were extremely happy with the building process until they started the interior buildout. The sub- contractor that Pulte used to install the interior texture did the worst job I have ever seen on texture. We actually asked Pulte to re-do all the texture in the house which they gladly did but it was impossible to get it all done to a quality standard. We were extremely disappointed that we had to live with the inferior texture but we had to close on our home as we had sold our existing home.

We’re having to deal with issues that took several years to develop in our previous home, here in a couple months of living here. A prime example is stress cracks in the drywall near door openings. Also have a seal that’s come loose on the glass shower door which we NEVER had happen on our glass doors in our previous home. Also trim pieces in and outside the home not cut correctly and caulking cracking inside the home. Some of these issues have been addressed but not others. We have a bedroom door which won’t latch and I was expecting someone Friday, August 23, to fix it. A repair order had been issued, but I waited for 4 hours which was the time window given me and NO ONE SHOWED UP. ... More

Read all the paper work before agreeing to sign with pulte mortgage . They say they will give you $10,000.00 toward close but not really when they are paying for stuff that is typically paid for by the seller out of said $10,000.00

Pulte gave us good buying experience and the build was completed on time. Richie, our builder, was great to work with.

Very smooth process from picking out the home and options, to working with the mortgage and title companies through closing.
