So many issues with this house and moving in was the hardest. Broken promises from the builder who lied to me and feel tricked into buying a PULTE home

Pulte's response to issues that have come up since we moved in has been extremely disappointing. They do not follow up with you. The warranty department doesn't respond in a timely manner. I have water running into our home every time it rains. This has gone on for 3 weeks. No one has come out to repair it. Construction bins constantly have trash and garbage spilling onto the ground. This is vey unprofessional. I've told our friends we have made a mistake building with Pulte. They do not keep their promises after the closing. We've built several homes and this is the worst experience we ever ...

The best part of Pulte is the sales people that sell you on the house. They are polite and responsive. Everything after is a nightmare. So many issues with the build. Everything is broken and after living here for a month, the tape starts to peel from the walls. They use cheap and unqualified laborers sub-contracted 3 times over to save as much money on your build as they can. I have multiple broken items, broken quartz sink, broken stove, cracked upgraded glass, and so much more. All on a new house that cost about 1 million. They pretend to follow up but don't. People who work for Pulte are not good at all professional. The work they did for my home is below par and if we ask why you did it like this they say we need to put service requests all the time. Even service requests we put a month ago no one responded yet..still waiting on fixes for all the substandard work They did.

They do not stand by their product

Pulte sold me a new construction home with a dead tree in the front yard. Customer service rep explained that this is not covered after home closing. Trees were not blooming prior to opening so I had no idea the state of the tree. It has been almost 2 months since closing and we still have the landscaping fencing / barricades muddling our backyard. There has been other issues that continue to not be handled. If you are brave, buy Pulte, they absolutely do not stand by their product.

The buying process did not meet our expectations. Sales and upper management overall did not seem to be trustworthy. Their main goal appeared to be making a sale and as soon as the contract was signed they became unresponsive. Advertised sales prices were lower in Pulte's website and on MLS than the actual home prices offered for the same homes when we inquired at the sales office. Pulte AZ office needs improvement

Working with the Pulte AZ office to get our A/C fixed was very difficult. Then when you complain about what’s wrong they will tell you that you are lying. Unfortunately it was 1 bad apple working for Pulte who ruined it for everyone else working there. I would be happy to give her name if Pulte wants to know.

Lack of Commutation and Attention to Detail

Construction managers had poor commutation throughout the process. Most importantly the quality was poor. Paint and stain was spilled all over the tile floor and carpet. Things that were supposed to be fixed were not. Closing was delayed and should have been delayed again. The cabinets came off the wall right after moving in. Poor workmanship overall. Better off going across the street to Ashton Woods.

The house wasn’t finished at closing and we are going to be dealing with remaining issues for several months! The trade workers they use are terrible; it might be easier to fix things myself and would be done better. Not to mention you have to stay on top of it or they won’t do anything! Advice if you work with Pulte, stay on top of them from day one. And don’t buy one of they already built spec homes.

Only been here 3 months, but we're already seeing stains in the ceiling and cracks around the house

We moved to our townhome at Park side at Mason Mill about 3 months ago: 1.) Plumbing clogged the 3rd week after we moved in; the farmhouse sink and toilets overflowed. Very poor skilled labor, cracks in shower wall, cracks in kitchen cabinets, pieces and miters cut short, wall boards with voids everywhere, expensive hardwood flooring creaking everywhere, Pulte told us to wait a year, then they will look at it, make great quality! Not excuses for poorly built homes.

My dream home turned into a nightmare

1. Wrong type window (fixed) was installed in master bedroom which can't be opened. 2. 240V wiring was wrong which burnt my new dryer. 3. The floor is not level, 4. the concrete patio is in wrong pitch, a big pond will formed at front door in every raining day 5. Garage floor has a lot of of oil stains Issue #3, 4, 5 were reported during final walk-through. Pulte promised will fix them. Almost 3 months from close, still have not be solved. Very, very disappointed with Pulte for the built quality and service.

We've called and left multiple voicemails about issues with our brand new home and no one seems to care. All that mattered was getting the house finished by the end of the year. The closer you look at the details, the less impressed I am with the house. I don't think I'd buy another Pulte house.

The house had an abundance of issues at my final walk through that she said would be fixed by the time we closed. Water and gas leakage

Just moved in 2 months and half, already have 2 times of water problem. One-way valve under the ground of basement was glued together so that water from furnace exhaust system caused flooding. drainage pipe from laundry room were damaged during construction, caused flooding again. Gas valves for water heater were not tighten together, caused gas leakage at basement.

Worst framing I’ve seen in years. Studs missing, no corner studs, single king studs around window openings holding up thousands of pounds of roof tile. The standard home they sell as advertised, is NOT what anyone would settle for. EVERYTHING to do with this house has a ridiculous upgrade price; both structurally and decorative selections, even the lower end of the upgrades are way over priced. Most of the items you pay extra for should definitely be standard on a new build in Florida. The subcontractors they use are bad and they are poorly supervised. My bathroom clogged within 2 days of move in. When I requested for checking that, I was informed that it was clogged due to use of toilet paper. My concern if you cannot use toilet paper in toilet what else can I use. Builder doesn’t show any responsibility in fixing the issues at all. Overly priced home. Builder charge differently for upgrades for each model making low end homes come out be expensive than it is worth.
