4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

There were many things that could have been done better in the home. It was not cleaned before we moved in. The cabinets don't work in the kitchen. The pendent light fixtures are not wired correctly. We had to purchase new outlet covers because they were broken.

Thoughtful design and value added features.

Pulte was wonderful. No project is without hiccups, but they were handled properly, and in a timely manner. I love our new home so much!

Biggest mistake I ever made, was buying from Pulte. Workmanship is terrible. Warranty issues brought to attention months ago still have not been addressed. If you are buying from Pulte, be sure to get a 3rd party inspection prior to close, and refuse to close until every deficiency is addressed.

This is the second time for me to buy a new home(previous one was from Bezer). Pulte hired non-professional workman and did a terrible job and the quality control is also not in place. The workmanship is totally worse than a DYI. Even the house was closed, the house still needs a lot of work. If I can upload photos, I surely will present them. To buy a new home from Pulte actually buys yourself frustration, I am still dealing with Pulte.

1) Not happy with the quality of upgrades such as base boards, doors, Faucets, flooring. Quality is missing, drywall etc....no quality check done. 2) No supervision of work, customer has to identify and point out issues. 3) Walk through during every stage of home construction is superficial. 4) Paid for water softener hookup ~$800. I was told that whole house will have softener. After moving in found that kitchen faucet and refrigerator do not have it and that was not communicated to us during the option selection which would have helped us to make the decision. Now we have to pay additional $1000 to water softener guys to change the plumbing. 5) Bathroom all faucets leaking under the cabinets, builder is not obliging...they say there is no leaks even after they saw the leaks. I'm investigating further and will make sure builder is accountable and does not repeat this kind of business operation to other customers. Investigating myself with the professional to make sure my ask is accurate. 6) We have upgraded all our toilets to higher toilets. during inspection found that they do not follow through on the upgrade, I had to point it out to superintended, they acknowledged the mistake and changed the toilets again. This clearly shows flaws in their operations. 7) I look for perfection not look for issues. but I found in every step in the process, we were pushed but no proper service rendered. 8) I can name few people who did their best to cater to customer services: 1) Angie - Good sales person and very responsive. 5 star for her service 2) Shane - Superintended, excellent in getting the fixes done. 4 star 3) Daniel - Jr superintended, excellent in customer experience. 4 star 4) Trevor - Pulte mortgage. I believe Pulte Homes is struggling with a skilled trades labor pool, as well as sufficient job site supervision. While there are a number of things that are flawless with our home, there are also a number of things that continue to be issues that should have been addressed. Pulte Homes presented themselves as craftsman that could provide an upscale home backed by a national brand. When push came to shove, the real answer, from their own mouths, is that they are just a production builder. If you are the type of customer that expects great attention to detail, you will need to be incredibly involved in the build process. Much more than you might believe is necessary, unfortunately. My ratings reflect a mediocre experience. I would caution a friend to be careful, but I also would not tell them to run away. If you decide to work with this builder, take exceptional notes, and make sure to document the agreed-upon actions via email. ... More

Bought home is a large gated community. It has natural preserve area but missing walking trail or play ground for kids. The upgrades were very expensive and had limited options.

Overall, the workmanship and materials are among the top quality, the value for the price is good. So far, the responsiveness to issues has been prompt.

This review doesn't allow me to put zero stars so I had to put one. I was lied to repeatedly by the salesperson and project manager saying that I would not hear the train inside of my townhouse if all my windows and doors were shut. I repeated it back to both of them and they said "YES". I have witnesses btw too. When the train goes by it's so loud it's difficult to carry on a conversation in my home or hear the TV....but that's not the worst of it....when I went on my walk thru the home was visibly not cleaned. It was filled with sawdust and construction debris so it was difficult to see the condition of my hardwood floors. I was told by the project manager that he would have everything cleaned by the time of closing. IT WAS NOT! I was there to move into the home with my movers and nothing had been cleaned. The project manager scrambled to get some cleaners...while my movers just sat there. Come to find out that hardwood floors could not be cleaned...they had glue all over them with boot footprints on them and they tried 3 times to clean them with a solution to get the glue off. They are trying for the fourth time next week to clean them. But that's not the only thing wrong with my $33,000 floors....There are big black streaks running thru the wood and the sample in the design center did not have any black marks...nor does the pictures on the Shaw website have any black marks in their hardwood. I have been fighting with Pulte for 6 weeks now. They have not paid for any of my relocation fees...ie hotel etc. They are refusing to replace my floors at this point. This has been so stressful for me. One of the reasons I bought a new house was to avoid this issue. I could just move my stuff into a brand new home. But that is not the case. I'm still deciding whether or not to get an attorney involved. Oh btw they will not furnish me with proof of the type of windows they put in the home (STC rating) showing that they complied with the city's Sound and Noise Study. They are untrustworthy, non responsive, horrible people that work there. I should have brand new floors and I should not have to be going through what I have been for the last 6 weeks. Still can't move in yet...and all my stuff is in my garage. But they are taking the stance that the home is livable so I should have moved in with all my stuff and moved all my furniture out of the home for the four times that the entire hardwood floors needed to be cleaned. This is a crazy thing to say!!! This is how they are getting away with NOT paying for my relocation or any expenses that I occur with homeownership as they see it as livable! Seeing little stuff that needs to be fixed

The after sale service from the builder was super and they were reliable. Steven in particular delivered a complete house in the end.I thought all the finishing touches should have been done before closing, Mass production leads to the above problems.

Good work

We bought a fabulous Pulte Home in the Alamo Ranch community of San Antonio, TX. I have to commend the entire Pulte team for a job well done. This is our fourth house with moving so much. They did a great job building it and met the deadline even with the tremendous amount of rain. Of course with any new house, you will find small things that require fixing. They didn't leave us high and dry; they responded to our requests in a timely and friendly manner. Sydney (Pulte sales representative) and Miguel (building supervisor) have truly been there for us, and we are extremely satisfied with our new home. We highly recommend Pulte. - Stewart Family ... My Brother and I bought this beautiful home together. We thought out the house plans and options together and decided to build our dream home.

My new townhouse was closed in June. Location is very good, but construction quality is really worse. During the final walk through, I already found some quality issues: crooked door frames, bad stained stairs. Although I never stain stair wood before, however, I believe I definitely can stain wood stairs better than their painting contractors. Also there already have three places with ceiling cracks and two places with leakages near deck doors. I contacted account manage with no response and I understand he is busy with all kinds of complains by homeowners.

As a first time homebuyer I was nervous about the process, although it was stressful, I don't think I'd rather go through the experience with home buying with any other company but Pulte.

Excellent service excellent craftsman

My neighbors have two story homes, and one of my neighbors has the ability to look into my shower from their second story windows. This is a privacy issue. The garage floor has several cracks in it, even though the house is new. The home warranty covered the repairs, though. Regarding security, the front patio and driveway lights were on a 30 minute timer vs. allowing the lights to stay on all night. I had to file a service request to get the lights fixed, when this issue should've been addressed before the close. A Maytag dryer purchased from Lowe's in 2016 was brought into the home, and the house's dryer outlet couldn't accommodate the 2016 Maytag commonly found at home improvement and department stores. As the buyer, I had to hire an electrician to fix the outlet. Pulte would not change the dryer outlet, when they should've asked me what type of dryer I was bringing into the home before the close and installed the appropriate outlet. The inside of my garage door has a hole in it. Pulte ordered the wrong part to fix the issue, so the repair of my garage door is delayed but will be completed soon. When I moved into the home, the toilets had a weak flush. A toilet brush had to be used to push the toilet paper into the water, so the toilet paper would go down the toilet. ... More

Great experience with Pulte.

The people whom I have interacted (both in Pulte Homes and Pulte Mortgage) were really great and helpful, Reg. Quality of materials, I am concerned. Mostly with the quality of inside doors ((the synthetic wood just peels off),) garage walls (plenty of room for insects between the dry wall and the floor), dish washer (which will never get dry), internet ports (just one at the corner of a two storeyed home) and door locks (none at the master bath room). I am not happy with the plan documentations either. Requested for a underground pipe layout plan of the backyard. But it was turned down, Other than that, I am happy with the home design, outside finish and timely closure ... More
