Poor customer set is and made k of professionalism

We need some repairs NOW and very poor quality compared to Pulte in Arizona

If you are considering a Pulte home, I would strongly encourage you not to! This experience has been nothing but a nightmare. Quality and attention to detail are severely lacking. After spending a significant amount of time after closing having contractors correct items, they actually have created more issues and damages because no one from Pulte is managing the process. Pulte relies in the homeowner to find things or otherwise they hedge on it being overlooked.

The home was not completed, had a gigantic list of cosmetic issues that weren't small. Very poor quality build, Pulte as a whole can care less about customer service. I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone that I know and I would never consider purchasing a Pulte home in the future in any capacity. My advice.. Run....

Numerous problems during the construction, especially the quality control was very poor

We were very disappointed with Pulte in almost every step of the process. It started with the offer of incentives to use Pulte Mortgage which was not competitive and they changed their numbers on what our payment would be through an “honest” mistake. Needless to say we shopped around then and found much better rates/payment. Loan match guarantee? Promised- but couldn’t do. Work that was supposed to be finished prior to closing, was not. Spending hours of our time to get issues fixed. Not a positive experience.

All I can say is that I would never recommend Pulte to anyone ever! There is dried plaster and junk under the carpet so we step on bumps all over the floor, painting and trim work is terrible inside and out.. I can go on and on!!

Paint is very sloppy, a lot of carelessness.

This house is by far the worst quality build I have had in all my homes. We have safety issues in our yard that has not been correct after several requests. This is a common theme they do not follow through. Myself and other in our neighborhood agree that there is a lack of oversight on the subcontractors. The site supervisor do not roughly inspect the work completed. Our living room ceiling was not built according to plans and it is two feet lower. A bedroom closet was not built correctly so we lost closet space there. Our outside was not caulked or pained correctly. After one month in our home we have trim work popping around house don't settle that quickly. Sales team mislead us and gave us incorrect property information, we added upgrade that were not done to our expectations which are either errors or misleading the customer. Very bad experience,I wish I never buy from this company ,from the moment they give you the keys ,nobody there to help you like the low voltage company,I need to have another company to fix they mistakes

Do not buy a Pulte home unless you like fixing things yourself or having contractors coming and going once you move in. Our home was not nearly complete yet our scheduled closing was fast approaching. We were assured that it would be done in time. Pulte scheduled what they term as a "Build Quality Celebration" AKA final walkthrough 3 days before closing (side note - there was almost zero leeway as to the time and date Pulte required this to be done). The walkthrough was anything but a "celebration". The LACK of quality workmanship and things that were not complete was appalling! We made a list of everything that needed to be fixed or completed in 3 days and let them know that we would not sign closing documents if the home was still a mess. We were informed that we would be in breach of contract if we did not close and that we had 30 days to let contractors into our home for any "punch list" 0repairs. Our question to them was why would we take time off of work and let contractors back in to a bang around, and make a mess when they couldn't get it right the first time? Their response was that they don't send the same people. So they save the GOOD contractors when there are complaints? Seriously? I wish that I could post photos of the shoddy workmanship. I have found the workmanship quality on Pulte Homes is terrible. I would never purchase a Pulte home again. Very unhappy with the quality of workmanship. We hear nothing but excuses as to why things are not done right.

Site service is good !

This was by far my worst home buying experience. I will never purchase another Pulte home, the workmanship was extremely bad for the price paid. The builders, contractors and warranty department were extremely untrustworthy and not willing to make their errors right without me putting up a fight.

We love our first new home, because it belongs to us... however, the quality and workmanship Pulte gives their clients is close to zero. I have seen apartment maintenance men do finer work then that which is made up within our home. Once you close, despite issues you find during your walkthrough - you can kiss your “fit to finish” warranty and the communication from your Pulte contacts goodbye. It’s a good thing we are in the construction business otherwise I might have cried (more) when we moved in. From the concrete in our driveway cracking, holes in the stucco finish, front doors that allow you to stick things from the outside - inside... (creepy) to uneven floor tiles that will injure your kids - oh and missing grout in random areas, unfished basboards, divots from the staple gun in the sheet rock visible in your walls.... to a fireplace that is put in for you but damaged with a mantle that has nail holes still visible on its surface... chipped cabinets... (the list is endless folks). At the end of the day if you don’t focus your attention too heavily on any one singular area of your home until the big issues present themselves - then maybe it’s worth giving it a whirl. ... More

After moving in, we have had so many issues with our home that we regret buying it. It’s as if no one looked at the home to ensure things were done right. Cabinets are misaligned, improperly installed, broken, nails missing from showers, grout is multiple colors or missing, door knobs damaged, paint splashes and grout EVERYWHERE, light fixtures installed crookedly, framing issues, dirt and sawdust everywhere, nails in carpet, metal debris in lawn - this is an absolute nightmare. For all issues we have been told to coordinate with the warranty dept. I should receive a stipend for the work I’ve done to fix my house to the point Pulte should have. This work is shameful. ... More
