Be very careful of doing a contingency with this company. They will start building the home prior to the contingency expiration. Get things in writing from your sales rep so that you have proof of what they tell you. Upgraded cabinets to a level 3 and they were not installed correctly. Placed hands on stair railing end piece, with some weight behind me and it broke (inside is pressed board). Paint used on walls is poor quality (1 wipe with a washcloth and it comes right off). The only highlight to our home was our Project Manager Mike was friendly and is working hard to help fix our problems. We are currently setting up our new home with 2 holes in the wall a broken pendant light and several spots that still need fixed. Main regret is we wish we would have went with a different builder. If you decide to use Pulte as your builder take the time to meet and ask questions to the other residents in the development regarding their experiences (most of our neighbors our unhappy with the quality of the homes) if we had talked to any of them beforehand we would not have purchased a home through Pulte. Also, be careful of picking out your lots... ask detailed questions about will it look the same when my house is built on it... Lot was flat when we picked it out... they created a berm in our backyard that took away about 6' x 68' foot of our yard and now we have to pay and add'l 10,000 dollars for a retaining wall. I am very happy with my new Pote home. The building quality is excellent. The only negative is that Pulte rushed me through the process of selecting structured and unstructured items. The turnaround was too quick,, which was two and three weeks. For such a large price investment, we need more time.

Basic construction pretty good. Finish work less than expected. Only been in house for six weeks so still discovering the “warts”.

Pulte were very transparent with us throughout the process and I felt like they looked out for my interests as well as their own. The home is fantastic and we feel like we got good value. The sales rep and site foreman were both extremely professional and helpful. I couldn’t recommend them both more.

Scott was incredible throughout our entire building experience. He sent us images every Friday so that we could see the progress since he knew we weren't able to visit that often. He also kept in close contact with us and let us know of any urgent updates along the way. Scott even went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us when we asked him to add an outlet outside! Carlin (at the front office) was also wonderful to work with! She was personable and so easy to work with through the home purchasing process. We love our Pulte home!!

We enjoyed our purchasing experience from the first time walked into the sales office to the day we got keys in hand. Everyone was fantastic to communicate with as wel. Thank you, Pulte!

Our new Fans Pulte home is everything we hoped it would be! The quality is amazing and the look and craftsmanship are awesome! We loved that our project manager Chris was on top of everything and in close contact with us always! The build was a very easy and rewarding experience and we couldn't be happier with the finished product!

Overall we were pleased with our new home.

Our energy bill is very low. Our house is spacious, beautiful , and the envy of my family. We are 100% satisfied with our Pulte Dream Home!

The experience of building a townhome in Retreat on the Monon was ideal! Selection of materials is on site, and very nice quality, even the lower priced materials. The project manager was very approachable and clear on the explanations of the property. Our home was completed 2 months ahead of schedule!!!

The quality of the work by Pulte is definitely very good for a national builder. When you are going thru the sales and design process be sure to ask for details on every item. They will charge you 1000's for item, but when it is built, it is not what they explained. When you are looking at the model homes you are not looking at the home you will end up with. Example, the model home had the wainscoting in the dining room, but it does not actually come in the home. They will not offer it as an option either. In the end, the home is well built, but you are definitely paying a premium for a cookie cutter home from a national builder. ... More

Mostly a good experience, however no one has contacted me about the issues we did have, which is greatly disappointing.

We were very disappointed with Pulte in almost every step of the process. It started with the offer of incentives to use Pulte Mortgage which was not competitive and they changed their numbers on what our payment would be through an “honest” mistake. Needless to say we shopped around then and found much better rates/payment. Loan match guarantee? Promised- but couldn’t do. Work that was supposed to be finished prior to closing, was not. Spending hours of our time to get issues fixed. Not a positive experience.

Project took longer than expected at the initial stage, thus pushing the move-in date up. Had some issues having pre-closing punch list addressed. But overall, a company that genuinely strives for good service, and a very good value for a home.

Excellent overall experience

Pulte Mortgage is NOT consumer friendly. I would look elsewhere for a mortgage lender. I had problems from start to finish.
