Our Sales person Leslie and Project Manager Don were amazing! Always prompt, always courteous and had every answer to every question we had. The project area was always kept very clean and picked up and the workmanship on the home is incredible and in fact our blind person said he had never seen a home with windows so perfect.

It shouldn’t take weeks for customer Warranty Service to get someone to fix a problem. That said all issues, were taken care of at the home.

Build fast

Pulte made the experience of building a home from a distance so remarkably easy (we recently moved from NJ to SC). Our construction manager, Travis was awesome as was our sales manager, Hannah. The team goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy. Our home is quality built and beautiful. We love it! The value you get at Pulte’s Oakfield Community is superior. We are so happy.

From the people to the plans, building a Pulte home was an absolute joy. I felt like I had all of the advantages that come with the size of a national builder (purchasing power to make my home as cost effective as possible being a big thing) with the accessibility and friendliness of a small company (my sales and build team were super accessible throughout the process and I felt that really cared about making sure I got what I wanted). They had floor plans that were perfect for our family with just the right amount of customization available. With too many choices to make I get overwhelmed. Better to let design professionals do the heavy lifting in this area so I could choose from their beautifully curated selections. Each member of the Pulte team has been incredibly responsive to my every request. Through their national reach, they were magically able to find flooring that had been backordered so I could have my first choice of flooring and still make our completion date. My wife and I worked with Pulte on the building of our first home. Everything was very easy from the get go all the way through closing. They were very responsive to questions/concerns and I always felt in the loop throughout the construction process.

The house was not fully complete at the “celebration” due to a changeover in field managers and some miscommunication. The customer care rep is doing a good job closing out issues that he normally does not have to deal with,

We were treated great by the sales agent, the design center and even the title company. We felt our construction builder, Al, was subpar as he did not catch a lot of simple things that were not right. He had a bad attitude anytime I tried to talk to him and he did not return an email until after we moved into our house. It’s very obvious to me now that when you buy a house you are paying for the construction builder and his or her desire to perfect your house. In this case we don’t feel like we got a perfected house but only a barely above par house.

The buying process is very smooth

Great neighborhood but seems like things were rushed at the end. A lot of less than quality work mad been found after we moved in. We are getting lots fixed but horrible drywall work can’t be fixed. But we love neighborhood and house design.

Build quality is great and the customer service department is extremely helpful.

Building with Pulte, as first-time homebuyers, was a very easy process. They were very good about explaining every detail to us and constantly communicated with us to ensure our house was built on time. There were a few minor issues along the way with building the house, but they were all fixed within a reasonable time and our house was ready for us to close on the original date they gave us. It was such a good experience and I would definitely use Pulte Homes again!

The house looks nice but the workmanship is poor. Only a couple of days after moving in we found many issues with the house. Crushed ducting in the attic, air conditioner breaking, cabinets not installed correctly, appliances not installed properly, wiring done incorrectly, and poor job on the wood floors to name some of the issues. It has been evident the work was done without any regard to quality in mind. The builder did not follow through on several things we were told were going to get done. When we would call to ask about the issues with the house no one was helpful in how to get it fixed. It seemed as if their job was finished once the house was sold. ... More

I wish they would have given themselves enough time to do more thorough final cleaning.

Major flaw in master bedroom wall. Needs major repair.

Lack of communication at the handoff phase from builder to homeowner. Sloppy attention to details. Slow response to finished product issues.

The whole crew has been fantastic.

All the upgrades we agreed upon were constructed and installed as per plan and design with no discrepancies noted. The field manager, Mr. David Kelsey is very courteous , knowledgeable, and very professional in dealing with us. He meticulously explained everything we need to know about the home . Always willing and able to help. I personally believe that the Pulte Homes is really committed to build a better and energy savings home.

Great value for the money, our field supervisor Andy was excellent and attended to all of the details .

The mortgage and title process experience were great. I was able to get answers to questions in a timely matter. That is not true with customer service with their responsiveness to issues. Every call went to voicemail. I did not get call backs or in a timely manner. You will have some things like not having the air conditioning turned on, or the heat which is frustrating. It took 3 weeks after I moved in to get a trash can. This was the responsibility of the hoa and their hired management company. What were the homeowner of the condo to do in the interim? The move-in experience needs to be better handled. I received no welcome from the HOA and no way to get help when I truly needed it. ... More
