My wife & I had a great experience with Gretchen & Tim. They were both so helpful, informative, patient & sincere throughout the entire process.

Pulte makes new home construction affordable for middle class families who might otherwise not be able to, and I particularly appreciated that. That affordability means you'll sacrifice customization, but as long as you understand that trade off, you probably won't be disappointed. There were a lot of small things that could have been done or approached a lot better, but overall I wouldn't say not to go with Pulte, especially if you need a larger home. For the price, it's worth the small annoyances.

Amazing sales and closing process... No hidden fees, issues and the sales quote including closing costs was within 100.00 of final close numbers.. we researched Pulte for almost 2 years before buying and we are glad we went with Pulte. Our home is wonderful and the sales, title and warranty teams are phenomenal.

We only met the builder twice for the walk-thrus. Everything was explained well.

Bryson was exceptional. He cares about his work, his homeowners and has been the best part of buying our home!!! We will increase the star rating for response to issues when the warranty issues are finally addressed.

AC units for the home are entirely too small. My house won’t cool past 78 on a 100 degree day. People who work for pulte say the units only rated to cool 18-20 degrees below outside temp. Let me know how comfortable you would be in a 80 degree home in Texas. The contract company they use for HVAC is just spinning their wheels patching and plugging the system without recognizing and replacing/remodeling the entire system. Please tell me how a 2.5 ton unit is expected to cool a 2500 sq ft house. A multi million dollar builder cannot even provide the homes they build with adequate HVAC systems so they can penny pinch those profit margins and that bottom line just a little bit more. Pulte isn’t even involved in the process anymore for our HVAC requests because they’re so slow in getting someone out to our house to fix the issues, we’ve just bypassed them entirely. We have to have 3 window units inside of our $425,000 house because pulte cannot install adequate AC units to cool a house. Just imagine if you had two little infants who need cool areas to sleep, and the Pulte rep tells you your house won’t cool past 75 in the summer. Please tell me how that’s okay and/or acceptable. We’ve had issues with drawers being broke, doors not installed correctly, and our master bathtub being cracked. The service team and warranty department are not responsive to emails, and when they are it’s a minimum one week wait time to fix whatever issues you have. Overall our experience has been bad. We have to live in a cave with all of our blinds closed and black out curtains over them because the minute we open the big, beautiful windows to allow natural light in the house, it’s 80 degrees in the house. The Sales and construction teams who gave us our new home were the best yet (this is our fifth Pulte home)!

Somewhat similar to every other builder.

Housing prices are all absurd these days so the value isn't really there, but the process itself was smooth and easy, with tons of help from various people in a timely manner. It was the easiest house purchase by far. The appliances and quality are great too.

Never buy a home with this company PULTE They stole my money $60.000 bor a unfinished basement I paid for the highest pad that goes under the carpet came to find out it was the lowest pad And they had to change it Since I moved in the brand new house it has been a nightmare Problem after problems

I lived out-of-state and doing face-to-face weekly meetings on my cell phone with Charles the builder and Morgan really helped me to understand the process of my new home. There were a few bleak and stressful moments I experienced due to this being my first time getting a new home built from the ground. The Pulte sales & builder team was always there to encourage me and lift me up so I could move forward. I LOVE my new home and appreciate the craftsman ship and hard work that was done by the builder and his team!!

Excellent home buying experience with Pulte this spring.

I regret purchasing a home from Pulte. From day one, the experience has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Despite the builder's one-year warranty, I did not anticipate encountering so many major issues — it has been truly mind-boggling. We're not talking about minor cosmetic concerns, but serious construction and functionality problems that should never occur in a new home. The response time from Pulte is slow, and when service is finally scheduled, problems are rarely resolved in a single visit. Multiple trips are often required for the same issue, wasting time and causing ongoing disruption. Even when I provide detailed explanations, I feel dismissed or not taken seriously — which only adds to the frustration. For the price of this home, the quality and service are absolutely not worth it. I expected better from a national builder, but what I’ve received is a house plagued with issues and a support system that seems more focused on checking boxes than actually resolving them. I would not recommend Pulte to anyone looking for a reliable or stress-free homebuilding experience. ... More

Pulte builds a nice home unfortunately some of their finish work leaves alot to be desired.

Build structure is good : Satisfied. Interior installation : Pay attention to workmanship Paint quality : is VERY BAD.

If you are buying a house from Pulte finance it thru another mortgage company. We have always gone with rocket mortgage but decided to give them a try worst decision I ever made. They never communicated with each other and they had 5 months to get their crap together on the day of the signing of the house. They told us they had an issue with our paper work and we were told that it was a possibility that we were not going to get the house. After a month of dealing with them and resubmitting the paperwork again we finally got our house. Then while we are living in the house. We encountered some issues our garage floor had multiple long cracks. We submitted our concern online. The guy that shows up tells me settling cracks and he told us that’s natural and they will not fix that because it wasn’t a specific width and I was told to read the manual. Then the sprinkler system that they installed has a leak and I was told that they didn’t cover that and we had to fix that. ... More

The construction of the house was clearly not at a value of 800,000 which is what I paid for the house. When I moved in a shower didn't drain because cement was poured down the drain and had to be removed by a plumber. In addition there was rust in the bathtub. Some of the wood was chipped inside the house. Overall however we're happy with the houses design and functionality. Pulte has been very responsive to concerns about the house and has fixedmost of the problems that I've asked them to. Overall the experience has been good but probably not worth $800,000.

Working with the Pulte agent Susan was great. She was responsive and attentive. Working with Pulte mortgage was an unimitigated disaster. They were terrible. I can't recommend working with them EVER. We are finding issues with the finish work as we make our house a home. Some of the issues we have uncovered in the 2 months since we moved in: Missing baseboard Misaligned cabinet doors Missing cabinet drawer hardware Missing faceplate screws on light switch covers Completely missing light/fan stubs Existing light stubs for pendant lighting not actually wired to receive power When I submit a service request, the response has always been very prompt which I appreciate and the issues have been remedied so far. Justin made the process very seamless and the house was completed in the timeframe given. The quality of the house is very good. The only negatives would be that everything shouldn't be an upgrade for the price you are originally paying with the "standard" house. Also some of the items in the house should have been an option, for instance fans or pendant lighting. As for your mortgage company, we feel that the employees are incompetent in knowing what to ask for upfront and not wait until a week before closing to ask for a laundry list of items that could not possibly be met. I have bought 4 homes in my life. This was the most stressful and horrible experience, I would stay clear if you are looking to be excited and not be lied too. After the horrible experience with the buying process, now I have been waiting since May for the HOA approval for our fence for our back yard. It just never gets any better. Dough & Mellisa was great, The Rest is a different story & experience.

Framing isn't square, and the finish work isn't great. Do not believe that you will get a complete landscaped yard unless you're willing to accept all weeds in the back and standing water. Without a landscape warranty, they will simply shrug off the poor landscape job, resulting in the new homeowner having to pay thousands of dollars to correct the backyard.
