The process of purchasing a Pulte home went smoothly. They did an ex job keeping me up to date on the build progress. The inspection before move in went well. The home was spotless. We found a lot of small items that needed to be fixed. However, the final inspection on the day of closing went well. All items were fixed, but the workers left a mess behind. My suggestion would be to wait to clean the condo until all items were fixed, and have them fixed before the close date.

Everyone from my contractors to my sales team to my mortgage representative were professional, open and informative. Looking back, I do wish I had more house and cabinet color options. House colors were not shown pictured on the house itself, so it was difficult to envision. But overall, I'm happy with the home, and being part of such a great community. Many thanks to all who made this positive experience a reality!

Buying a home is overwhelming what more if it’s a new construction. The realtor who assisted us was very helpful. She didn’t mentioned that the price of the lot went up from the first consultation to the time that we signed up which is a week apart. Just a week!!! I tried to appeal but to no avail. They just made more money out of me. The house is just okay. It seems that they rushed the construction. It took them less than 5 months to build on a winter time. Pulte needs to reconsider their general contractors. There’s a lot of hard dried paint on the carpet. The carpet edges were not smooth. The grout in the bathroom tiles are not smooth. The thing on the edge of the tiles are peeling off. The floor has a lot of crack. I have the pictures saved on my phone I’ve been finding things since day 1 and I am still finding things that needs to be repair until now. The whole process was excellent. From start to finish the process was smooth, and easy to go from step-to-step. The communication from the construction workers to you, updating you on your new home was amazing. They really see it through and go over everything with you during the process.

The home buying process was great and easy. However, when we closed and moved, we found many issues with the water and drainage system. Workmanship in general was subpar as well.

No issues with new home

I would not recommend Pulte or Pulte Finance. Everyone was on vacation and they didn’t close the deal on time like promised. They were too busy on vacation and they wasted a lot of my time.

Be careful buying a home with Pulte. Lots of items promised & not delivered that we paid for! Overall, a terrible experience with the construction manager.

Jordan and the whole Pulte team from the front end to the closers were A+ in everything the did for us.

Bad experience with pulte home purchase, and never recommend to anyone else.

It is impossible to get a response whether it is via the portal, in the office or the 1800 number. The friendly service received during the sales process (although not always efficient) leaves a lot to be desired once the keys are handed over. We have not moved in, 60 days after signing, and there are multiple issues that Pulte is leaving unresolved. Completely frustrated. Highly recommend to plan ample time between inspection, items getting addressed and final signature. Do not sign until it is all done - I was told some things could be handled after signing and clearly not the case. Our salesperson was excellent to work with and a great communicator. The building side, not so much. Why? Because there is no follow up. What good is a warranty or punch list, if they are ignored after they are recorded? We still have missing items and quality problems. Over promised and under delivered.

The construction managers were very helpful

Pay attention to quality of interior wall paint as well as wall switch placement. Security keypads may not be in the most logical place.

After 3 days of purchase, the Toilet was already clogged, causing the main bathroom to have sewage and excrements coming out from the bathtub drain. We called for an emergency repair, but unfortunately, it was a holiday and we did not get a response immediately. Once I got a response, the plumber informed us that my issue was not considered an emergency since I had 1 of 3 toilets/bathrooms working. Plumber did not show until the next day around noon.

This is my 2nd Pulte home and I had very good experience with the first house with the Quality so I chose Pulte again. I am very pleased with the design, work completed early, quality and the people I worked with. If there could be any improvements, I would suggest follow-ups after closures for the items that need to be fixed. I found that some of the companies do not respond for technical issues or repairs. It was great to have a project manager so engaged.

James has made his experience a very pleasant one. There is no perfect home but each time there are issues that needs some attention, special requests etc, James always goes above and beyond. Rick aswell when was dealing with urgent issue. Great team

Poor quality poor material

The mortgage process through Pulte was a nightmare we are relieved to have made it out of. The endless back and forth requests for the same documents and weeks at a time gaps of updates, left us feeling overwhelmed and like we had made the wrong decision.

It is very concerning that you are making a big investment, there are not quality controls follow by Pulte to deliver a quality product. There are expectations that the client has to understand the issues, but it is hard to do so when issues are related to a lack of quality control procedures not been followed. When you see all the visible issues, you get really concerned about what it is hidden. There are big issues with the quality of the finishes and the quality of the materials used are questionable.

Experience was great. However, after moving in the house began having issues that were easy to resolve. Alot of cracking in the walls began and the house was 1 month old. The garage had alot of imperfections such as just tears from were they cut, as if it the workers didn't care. The bathroom door everytime we shower it leaks out since the seal was place all across instead it was just halfway. Only thing I recommend buyers is to take your time during the walkthrough. Don't feel rushed because they are trying to just get it out of the way asap.

sales agent is only working for commission and never care or communicate about the changes in commitment to the buyer. very irresponsible and not trust worthy. As a first time home buyer, I had worst experience with the sales agent that I went through. because of such agents, pulte gets bad reputation.
